Demo 17 VS-C goes back to Widman cycles. Really hated to see that machine go but it was time. While I was there I get a tour of what splitters are in stock and ready to be shipped!! I also help Norm split some Hickory on a 35 SHO using a wicked 12 way wedge. For more info on these awesome log splitters use the links below.

More to come! With a new machine??? I appreciate you making this connection between Norm and I. It has been awesome to have this great opportunity to run multiple machines to share with everyone on the channel. That has to break your heart. That looks like a great piece of equipment to work with. It was nice of them to let you use it but is also good for him for advertisement. If I was 10 years younger, I would have bought it. Norm and crew seem like a nice bunch and quite a large operation.

Well James I definitely enjoyed using the 17VS-C but it was time. I had it way longer than expected. I will definitely miss that machine. So many good models to choose from. Ya never know I might like something else better for what we are doing? Norm has a great inventory and really is knowledgeable of firewood and the WR lineup. Thanks for watching 👊🏻

That hickory didn't want to give up, at least you had more rounds to push it through. We had two bad storms come through last week and my son had twenty eight damaged and lost apple trees and two blue spruce trees down. My wife and I went over and filled my truck with a load of apple, it doesn't even look like we did anything.

Hickory is the ultimate test when you’re trying out a new wedge or splitter😂 Tough stuff!! Wow that’s a bummer on your son’s storm damage! That apple would be awesome to get a couple loads of. Shouldn’t have any trouble getting that to disappear. Thanks for watching Ken👊🏻

Norm has a great inventory. The 28 pro has become very popular since Wolfe Ridge added the auto cycle option. I’m anxiously waiting to see what you eventually end up with Todd!

Yes he has a great inventory of splitters on hand. Plus he can option them out however you like them. Getting to see them side by side to compare is awesome. The vertical was fun to run! That horizontal splitter sure has a bunch of power. I think I would only use the 12 way on wood that was a diameter that wouldn’t require to be split a second time. Most have a conveyor with that machine.

Yes it was! You are absolutely right about that 12 way. Smaller diameter rounds would be one pass! Norm and I were just trying to punish/ test this new 12 way and push it to its limits! HICKORY was the perfect wood for that! Thanks for watching Robert👊🏻

Great relationship you have with them. Benefits both of you. The 12 way is kind of misleading. Seems like a long time between splits when wrestling those pieces but you have to keep in mind that you made 12. I think I'd like to try the 6way some time.

Yeah the 12 way would be perfect for someone making boiler or heating wood! Sure makes a lot of splits fast! We were pushing some of the toughest wood species thru it also. Our Hickory here is a bear to split!! Stay tuned for that 6 way you are talking about in action 😂 Thanks for watching 👊🏻

That 12 way has a lot of resplits more so that other wedges. I think I'd rather have a box wedge. Slower but no resplits. The 12 way looks perfect for boiler wood. Anyway glad you got hooked up again. Looking forward to it. I'm from south Louisiana I wonder what part/parish of the state. I'm on the coast in St.Mary

Yeah the Wicked 12 sure makes a lot of splits fast! I’m betting it would be great for boiler wood! Still in the testing stage I guess? I’m not sure what part of Louisiana that splitter was going to?
