+WizPigTactics i don't think so, I think it proves her case to have one of her opponents speaking out for her in a way she can't do herself. I mean, imagine if Clinton herself would have said: "Enough with the e-mails!" That would make it look like she didn't at all take responsibility and simply wanted to get rid of a difficult issue for her campaign.
+kayla lee How is he honest. He wants to introduce social programs and his solution is to tax the rich. Simply there is not enough tax that can be collected form the rich to fund these proposals. So what he really means by rich is to tax everybody.
+kayla lee I dearly hope not. He's fumbled many responses and his position on "boots on the ground" is too dove. He's get us all killed. Hillary, hands down.
+Vlad Xavier what horrible policies are you talking about? obama was the cure for the sickdom america got from bush. Just deal with it. Obama would get elected for the motherfucking 3rd term if it was legal for him to run.
Why? So that you can receive welfare, ebt cards, free housing, free college, and free healthcare? Yeah it sure does seem like a dream come true doesn't it. Lazy liberals, you guys never want to work for a damn thing and want everything handed to you. I will not be voting for a guy who's motto is, "Tax, tax, tax the rich" and "Give, give, give to the lazy". Redistribution of wealth is such a communist way to think, I pity all you freeloaders. Try looking at the national debt assholes, mostly created by Obama! Another spending Democrat.
+Ali Mehdi Lets ignore the fact that the only reason yours and other countries can afford to do so is because Americans are busy doing the work of innovating the medicine, doing the scientific research, and generating the wealth that enables it. It's really sad to think about all the missed opportunities we've passed right by as a result of the economic inefficiency of so many centrally-planned economies. We've have those damn flying cars if only!
+Jeffrey Gillespie Are you serious? Grown ups don't make lists of demands and demand that the more wealthy among us pick up the bill. Sounds more like children to me -- entitled children.
+37OH55V I never understood that, everyone's still gonna pay taxes, that's how we get America running everyday. Even the middle class would still pay. But if there is a reform to where those that earn less can still be able to pay a reasonable ammount of taxes and the wealthy stop evading taxes, (I understand not all) I'm all for it. No one's not gonna pay taxes, or force the rich to pay all the taxes. That is fox network toxic information scaring people.
+37OH55V Why shouldn't the wealthy pay their fair share? They have benefitted more than most. Many do not pay ANY tax, due to loopholes. That is wrong. Why should the middle class and the poor pick up the tab for the wealthy?
+Cindy Webster You and most seem to not understand the wealthy look down upon us peasants, if people like Bernie attack them, they will pack their bags and leave, and take their money and companies with them. Look what happened after Bill Clinton signed NAFTA, our manufacturing base left, and our government was not even threatening them at the time, now imagine what will happen if Bernie starts threatening the rest especially after what Obama did with the Pacific Trade BS....
+28dayslater559 Killary, how clever. You idiots need to learn Hillary is going to win. This is not even a question anymore as Bernie way underperformed. Now you can choose between Clinton, Trump or Carson. Not so tough now is it?
+Mark Stewart underperformed lol. just about every single poll during the debate had Bernie winning by a landslide. He absolutely outperformed Hillary in every metric. It wasn't even close, really
+37OH55V Do your own research, your asking random people on the internet to do your homework. All candidates say they will fix America, now use the internet to find out who is actually "legitimately" trying.
+TheGetout04 If she was storing top secret information on her personal servers and if those servers got hacked then the American people should care. There are rumors that an eastern European hacker got access and that the Russians then paid for those secrets. Now this is what I have heard in the media. DO not say it does not matter only clueless people would say that.
+Diego Contreras Agree with "Just Saying".....how are the republican nominees racist. They are the most diverse you can get. White, Black, Latinos, Male, Female, and differing ages. Yours is a typical liberal response- don't have any merit for a negative comment, but will say it anyway and stand by it. You can't argue with someone who will stand there and argue the sky is green when it is clearly blue. They can easily see blue, but if they don't believe you, they will argue the sky is green--- even if they can clearly see it is blue.
+Give it up for Jackson Heights own, Mr. Randy Watson RIGHT ON! The Republicans are a joke! They mock each other’s looks, lie during the debates, blame, blame blame and yet have no solutions. Place blame on Obama and Clinton when it was their guy, BUSH, that messed up so many things; one would need an hour to list them. And yet, why on earth would any average earning person vote Republican?
+Give it up for Jackson Heights own, Mr. Randy Watson your one of the dumb asses who voted a BARAK HUSSEIN and HILARY in to begin with......blacks......dumb tards
+Justin Jose Trump is making waves because he is on the ball with the issues. The Border has to be secure and then people who are here illegal need to be made legal. If they are cartel they need to be sent over the border again. If they are a Mexican who is trying to work and has no record then they should find it easy to stay in America. Trumps tax plan as well closes up loop holes for the ultra wealthy even though he will lower their rate of tax they will still pay more because they will have to pay on everything and not have wealth exempted. Trump in right on the ball with these issues. Sanders or Hillary is not talking about these issues. America also has a trade deficit meaning they buy more from China than what they sell. Do you know how this actually happens. American goods are taxed into China at 40% and in some cases 75%. but Chinese goods have 0% taxes into America. Trump was talking about these issues almost 30 years ago. And he said back then that he may run for office if these issues do not change. And guess what they did not change.
Trump 2016 Stop lying about Hillary. She never broke the law. You make fake stories about her because you want some one else to win. Enough is enough,enough,enough..............
+Jon Nuela That's just plain nuts. Sanders and Clinton couldn't be less alike. Sanders total net worth is less than Clinton's clothing budget. He's as clean as an American politician gets.
can't believe people are voting for her. what the heck is going on?! "oh we need a women! " yeah a women that will destroy America and make us the worst country in the world
So much for "nobody likes Bernie." She liked Bernie at this moment...then later blamed him for her loss. And she calls HIM and his supporters immature. Look in the mirror, Hillary.
That's like saying, 'we should ignore rapists because there are murderers who are far worse!' Just because there are other issues needing to be addressed doesn't mean that Hillary has an immunity to the law. Whether she broke the law or not, it should be investigated, not forgotten.
+Daniel W. Seriously? He never said that her scandals shouldn't be investigated but this is a presidential debate. He wants to focus on the reason they are there talking to American and to each other. The candidates should be discussing how they are the best person for the job as commander in chief, not to talk about Hilary's problems. Let the committee in charge of investigation be the ones concerned about that! There is a time and a place for such discussions but not in a presidential DEBATE.
+jad3948 Because the candidates want to get themselves elected and to not get Hillary not get elected. People should hear about issues that matter to all Americans, issues that need to be discussed instead of scandals. Yes, she is being investigated, but that doesn't prove her guilty. A court decides that and not a presidential debate. We'll hear about this much MUCH more in the news and when hearings are being done and if there's a court case. The other candidates barely get any TV screen time and they don't want to make it about another person. The news after the debate are still going to be talking about her and her scandals while the other guys will be lucky to even have their name even spoken during airing time.
+Farting Jizz Is the honesty of a candidate running for president (with high success) not an issue that should matter to all Americans? The debate was a time to explain how you're the best candidate AND challenge the other candidates. Her scandal is an important issue that needed to be brought up. On top of that, she should have explained her actions to some extent anyway, rather than telling the people to just ignore it. On top of all of that, Bernie said, "...the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails." 'The American people' implies that he's talking about ignoring the scandal not just at the debate, but in total. True, her guilt isn't decided by the debate, but she's being investigated by the FBI. It's not a negligible issue.
+Daniel W. Are you familiar with cognitive dissonance, Daniel. This is much of what you are dealing with when you encounter someone like Farting Jizz.Let's say, you were able to convince him (his kind) to put their brakes on any kind of further support for Hillary Criminal urm Clinton (sorry). Where would that leave them, but with one less opportunity to get their political party into power, when they will get all of the goodies which she campaigned on. You make a good and reasonable case, Daniel, but you are arguing with some of the most unreasonable people you will ever encounter.
The_Blazer you stupid fucking piece of shit, this is not political babble. Hillary committed a serious crime potentially endangering Americans, and is being protected by a corrupt establishment. You're a piece of shit and liberal shill if you honestly believe this is political babble. GO TRUMP. TRUMP IN 2016
Dutchy McDutch you dumb piece of shit, it's an extremely important issue that could potentially affect the security of this country. It's more than just a smoke screen. GO TRUMP. TRUMP IN 2016
+Yesiel Delapaz Actually, he's trying to get the conversation turned to things that actually MATTER…the economy, jobs, education, taxation. REAL problems.
+Cindy Webster One very real issue, at least for some folks, is the personal integrity of the person who will lead one of the most powerful and most wealthy countries the world has ever known. THAT will effect all of these other, smaller issues you have cited -- economy, jobs, education, taxation, and there are many, many more.
Cindy Webster Actually, Cindy, he is attempting to occupy the office of the P.O.T.U.S. There is a difference. He took a calculated risk in making that statement about the emails. I, we, will likely never know, but my money says he is going to pay at the polls for it.
Someone record Hillary's laugh and play that after every evil sadistic joke played in every movie with a villain that laughs. It will be funny but chilling at the same time because unlike a fictional story she actually killed someone and laughed about it.
+no hassle I think the fact that he didn't capitilize on it shows how sincere, honest, and full of integrity he is. He isn't willing to compromise his personal ideals in order to get more popularity, which is truly admirable, and that will resonate with more Americans in the long term than him trying to slam her on emails in the short term.
By saying this it shows he is primarily interested in creating a strong middle class , however Hillary is still in the same sinking boat. The FBI is constantly chasing after her and if proven guilty she could actually be imprisoned ! Bernie Sanders also knows she's still in trouble but it showed his morale distantly .#VoteForBernie
He should of been the democratic nominee... I feel obligated to vote for her because if I don't Trump could... Either way it's a huge Lose/Lose for this country
I actually like both Clinton and Sanders as Hillary has been consistent on women's health and the environment while Bernie is consistent on addressing income inequality and social justice issues. That said I don't mind voting for Hillary (but yeah, I would have preferred Bernie to win).
I would take ANY Democrat over any Republican any day, but Bernie is the most honest, for-the-people candidate that I've ever known. He doesn't take money, always means what he says, follows through on what he promises, and never shies in the face of criticism. The man is serious and no-nonsense. I say ALL Democrats need to go out to the primaries and vote for Bernie if we was TRUE change!
She was not surprised by his statement on those damaging e-mails, as I believe HRC had previously warned him of the consequences of not towing the line.
+Uzman BHai Bernie is proposing to introduce social programs and he is proposing to fund this by taxing the rich. Well there is not enough wealth in the rich to pay for all of these programs. So where is the taxes coming from to fund all of these goodies. Either Bernie does not know what he is talking about or he is lying.
+bighands69 are you serious? are you this ignorant or are you trolling. There's plenty of money.. we are the richest country on earth's history, we could solve the worlds poverty problem if we actually wanted but of course we won't. You have no idea what you are talking about.
askjiir that's all the elite's class doing. We need a political revolution to take our country back from them. There's plenty of money... it's just all concentrated within a few people. And they've build a slave system, that only benefits them. Fuck, Japan was in ruins and their people built it back up in a few years, donating just a few hours of their work to the government, they rebuilt Japan and it become one of the strongest economies in the world and they have 1/3 of our population. If we wanted to, we COULD fix shit. 20 trillion deficit means nothing.
Im a Bernie supporter but I was disappointed with him here. I make fun of Republicans & Libertarians alot for their capitalist views & stuff but I agree that Hillary should be in prison for that.
Teh goat Hillary Clinton: "Presumptive Democratic Nominee for President of the United States" since she agreed to yield to Barack Obama just prior to the 2008 election. The fix is in. Feel the Bern, Mr. Sanders. lol
+Layla Bell We are not talking about your typical everyday email, it was classified information. When it comes to gun control, Bernie is smart enough not to say anything, because there are a lot of Democrats that also own guns, and sure in hell don't want anymore of their rights taken away. Do you know how many gun laws are already on the books?
I think they both have the best intentions. But Hillary should let the old man get a chance on this. And when his time comes, she can replace him since she's younger. But for now, let Bernie handle it. He's more ahead of you and knows what he's doing as of rightnow (:
No, I don't think a mature adult regrets focusing on issues instead of attacking their opponent ("crooked Hillary" is not a policy, if you haven't noticed). But people like you don't want substantial debates, it seems.
***** im not a bernie sanders supporter, never was but its pretty shocking to see this guy who said how he was going to fight for the little guys against the Big Bad banks and wall street people, then next day, he turns around and gives the big FUCK YOU to all his followers and endorses Clinton who is the very person that ONLY serves the big bad banks and wall street LOL, and whats even more shocking is that he STILL endorsed her after it was proven the DNC rigged the primaries against him LOL, please please, the bernie people who were "berned" by this coward, please come to Trump!
I 100% agree!! I am a Bernie Sanders supporter, and I happen to think that we should all be focused on the major issues effecting this country, and not emails. If Hillary loses her lead, she should be losing for the right reasons (her policies and views are not as good as Sanders' views are). I happen to think that Bernie Sanders is a much better candidate and he stands for everything I stand for. I am voting for him for that reason, not because I don't like Hillary Clinton's emails
How could you not like this guy? I usually don't follow politics much, but he is the first person (Republican or Democrat) in my adult life that has given me chicken skin. Out of everything I've seen, he is the only one that I think has any legitimate passion and not just looking to add a notch on his resume. After watching the debate, I'm astounded that Clinton is ahead of him in the current polls.
I see an out of touch republican; an angry soldier; a polished piece of plastic; a man of compassion, principle and honesty; and a manipulative establishment puppet on this stage. What do you see?
Bernie seems more likely to at least try and bring both parties together for a compromise on issues. Hillary seems to only want what she wants (and her special interests).
I read in the book 'Shattered' Bernie Sanders advisers were reluctant for him to take this angle. Sanders did it anyway and felt relieved after saying it. Sanders was right, and it shows he was above politics. And there were more pressing issues then this.
telling it like it is....feel the Bern. Sanders in 2016....thank you very much. Clearly won this debate. She was good. nice and slick. But the status quo cant defeat the TRUTH!!!!
What a good sport Bernie Sanders is. People say that this ruined his chances NO! It really showed his true colors! He wants to win fair and square! He is the ONLY person in my book who I have faith in to fix the economy and be a great president!
Bernie Sanders is a real human being and a much better leader for the United States. He proves time and time again that his experience and ability to reach across the aisle allows him to focus on real issues facing America. If he doesn't win the election, then it will be Americans who suffer in the long-term future of things. He's the only politician who will get me to say [Name] 2016. So, Bernie Sanders for President 2016!
When a politician uses the words "middle class", they are generally referring to the clerisy. Not anyone employed in the private sector. Not anyone who lacks a defined benefit pension plan. Not anyone who has ever been in danger of, or actually lost a job.
"Enough of the emails, let's talk about the real issues facing America." That statement is the point of what he was saying. I think a lot of people are focusing on the wrong thing. He wasn't defendi g her or covering over the email issue. He knows that is bej g investigated and it is a waste of precious time to dwell on it during the debates where there is limited time for each candidate to discuss where they stand kn the "issues facing America." Kudos to Bernie for trying to spank the media into focusing on the task at hand. Sure, the emails are important. because they speak to credibility, honesty and good judgment. But we also must consider candidates stance on MANY other important issues. Let's focus on more than the scandal.
I don't think the families of Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty are tired of the emails. In fact I think they'd very much like to know what the sec. of state could have done to maybe have prevented their deaths.
How does Bernie still expect me to believe he's on the side of the working class when I just saw him stick up for one of the most powerful people in the country while she's under investigation for breaking the law?
