Facebook, as part of OCP, has built a PCIe card to do just that, and it's a project that has been open sourced so anyone can build their own. With Oleg Obleukhov, one of Facebook's Senior Engineers, we go through the card, why it's useful, and explore why this card has lots of potential uses in future projects, such as VR or PC Gaming.
