I watched a streaming live broadcast of the vote , and I assumed it was the republicans singing "hey, hey, hey goodbye." Why would the Democrats being sing "goodbye?" It is usually the victors that obnoxiously sing that song, right?. Am I missing something?

My feeling is simple. Did people vote wanting changes in healthcare? Yes, remember even Clinton wanted to make changes with Obamacare. Could we do better than Obamacare? Yes, let's see how President Trump and the GOP plan does. The Democrats had chances with President Trump to make changes with Obamacare, but they did not do anything which was sad to see. Democrats need to vote for better representatives that will work with President Trump and not cave in to special interests.

Thank god the crappy legislation is gone! I've paid more in the 4 years for insurance than I could have imagined. Higher rates, deductibles, less service. I know more people that have LOST insurance than gained it by having legislation shoved down their throats.
Get a job and pay for your health care like before. If u ain't working get a job. The company I used to work before Obama care used to pay for everyone's health care. But since Obama care appear he had no choice but to cancel it. So ty Obama. We pay so lazy bums don't have to.
To all of you comemorating this tell me, how would you feel if you went to the doctor and you learned that you have a pre-existing condition? If this passes, insurance companies can charge how much they want to cover you pre-existing condition. Seriously, how is this better?
Why is the government useless? They could of started making better plans on working on economy on a bigger scale and make all classes contribute to society. Why aren't they working on our national debt? Why is the President working on trivial matters that the STATE could worked it out if they also do something to support each other. It's too early to tell how this (if it's passed by the Senate and signed by President Trump) will affect Republicans. The 2018 mid-term elections are a year-and-a-half away. The 2020 Presidential election is three-and-a-half years away. My point is that anything can happen.
This was a pointless vote for party points. It will go to the senate where it will be changed and then it will come back to the house. That will be the important vote.
It was done right before the congressional break, they just wanted to cast the vote for party affiliation reasons. Whether or not it passes after the senate makes changes is anyone's guess, this vote was pretty close. By all means call your reps and senators, let them know how you feel.
