picked up a job Demoing a large steal buinding at the old can clay tile factory. This was quite the changeling job to do safe stay tuned to see how he did it. #dirtperfect #stealbuildingcollapse #deomjob #buildingdown
I'm watching an old vid in a new post. I suppose we have to get up to 88 mph to go back in time???? Lol. Hey nice vid Mike and you all did good no one got hurt during the filming of this video.. a Perfect job !!!
I remember the tour you did of the plant but I can not believe the amount of pipe is still left. Congrats on running a mindful and safe crew. I feel a job like this is good every once in a while to keep you on your toes about safety it wakes you up about safety on the boring every day jobs. On jobs like this for me, (as you did) we had the planning and discussions prior to starting the job and after we sat down and had a postmortem discussed what went good what we might have done differently, and other equipment or people that may have made it better and safer. You had the right people, the right equipment and the right attitude. A JOB TO BE PROUD OF
I love the banter and joking around between you guys but the best bit is how all that stops and becomes skill, concentration and care when it’s required. It is the absolute best way to work. Huge kudos to you all but especially to MBTS on this one. 🏴
Outstanding job. Always being careful. All did great watching out for each other. MBTS is an expert as are Mike and Matt, perfect as planned. GOOD JOB GUYS
That had to be one of your toughest jobs yet, it’s scary and sometimes unpredictable how the steel will fall. You had the expert Aaron on your side, thank goodness. Thank you very much for this amazing video! Kevin
Wow, you guys should be so proud in the professionalism you guys showed on this job. I am surprised you had as much footage as you did. The seriousness of this job was huge and you came through with flying colors. That was really awesome watching. Thank you so much for getting so much of this project on tape as you did. I thank you sir! I am also really happy that it turned out working exactly as you planned it.
Man oh Man, you guys look like you actually know what your're doing in this video. I didn't know Man Behind the Scenes had so many talents. Ya'll did a great job on this one. Very cool to watch!! Good to see Man Behind The Scenes with the safey harness. Take Care, ASH
Wooooo Hoooooo Ace operators !! Can see you guys moving into larger demolition jobs. Perhaps it would be too taxing on you guys and safer to keep these types of job to a minimum albeit some careful, well thought out and safety thoughts were put into this venture. Well done MBTS!! Made Mike's task so much easier. Great job everyone - safely done - just like you all wanted. Stay safe and well.
Pretty epoch video shots on the final 4 beams... I was pretty surprised at the energy stored in those last few millimeters of flange. When they broke loose, holy cow! Kinda scary. Loved the intro & outro drone shots... Thank you sir.
Even if it is a year old that was one scary thing for you guys to do but kudos Aaron and his knowledge and welding, dirt perfect for all the safety precautions, Mr. Millennial for you know for being there for support and watch out
Another awesome job. MBTS did a great job up on the roof, Matt did an excellent job of describing what was going to happen and DP did an amazing job of safely bringing the metal down. Sad to see the building go down but it's time was up. I am glad you did the walk through last spring describing what they did there. Thanks
I’ve knocked down some machine sheds and pole barns but I would have never done that! Good job it takes a lot of trust to do jobs like this. It’s shows the trust MBTS has in you as well as you trusting him. As this was job requiring a lot more skill than most have. The closest I have ever done to this was tearing down a metal machine shop that burnt and we used a 988 cat and a man lift cut both sides and carried them off with the loader to a pile. Then cut off the verticals to where the crews could get to the bolts on them to unbolt them. Like I said nothing like what you all had to deal with working next to a set of power lines (dead or not they still an obstacle) and a live building you can’t damage. I’m very impressed with all there that all followed the plan.
Have a good plan, job briefing, and Safety in this is priority one...... And of course you know your limits, as you told us several times during video....... So proud of your work ethics..... God bless You and Crew......A All for one, one for allll.
Nice job guys!! Had to watch this one twice. It was a real nail biter of a job. I can imagine the pucker factor was strong with this job! Again, nice job guys!!
It’s a shame you can only give thumbs up I was in the demolition game over 40 years ago we used to cut down big buildings we used Oxygen and propane gas a tiny bit slower with the heat but I could cut 6/7 inch thick steel no problem it was nice to watch you guys tackle that old building
Great work by all 3 if you, sure was a big job for you to take on outside your comfort zone. Big shout out to Aaron the master of the gas axe, some precision work there. Great video 👍👍👍
WOW! What a video! Intrigue, suspense, things crashing down, and what a final scene. Just like going to watch the fireworks show. I enjoyed this almost more than anything you've done. It shows what careful planning, knowledge, and teamwork can do. Again let me commend you on a great video. This will be a tough act to follow. Thank you and Stay Safe.
Man behind the scene has definitely been a great assist to you Michael. Not to take anything away from the rest of the crew.It takes team work.Very impressed.
That was a dramatic lead in to your video. Well now I know where Man behind the Scene has been. Now that was an impressive job, and safely done to boot.
That was a good good video my friend good good job you can tell it on your face you was serious on this job it was good to see Aaron again and tell him good good job on cutting steel I really like this video but what do you expect dirt perfect on the job be safe keep the good videos come in my friend
Mikey I’m really, really good at Jenga... perhaps even a Master! But, noting that there are a few minor differences between a tower of tiny maple blocks and that web of steel... I’d concede the match before it started! I went back and replayed several scenes... my fave is the opening drone fly-in! MBTS, Matt and you going home safe is a Win! Win! Win! On a scale of 1 - 10.... you get an EXCELLENT!
A squeaky bum job Mike !!!!! Aaron definitely proved his worth on this job, always good to see you use his expertise. Done some of this type of work, always a challenging job. Understand why you didn't do any filming at the start, that steelwork was well passed its use by date, amazing how much damage heat does to steel, have seen plenty of industrial buildings collapse due to fire. Captain Kleeman would have been handy to have for fire hose wrangling too !!! You all pulled off one heck of a job there sir !!!! 💪💪💪
