don't get me wrong, i completely agree with your points about gun control and i believe in the second amendment. however, claiming that the US military was defeated in 3 wars to 'ragtag rebels' isn't an accurate assessment of history. those people were a far cry from simple farmers and average people. in all 3 instances, the insurgents had decades of experience in various civil/tribal wars and had been either trained, armed or both by major world power. to suggest that the american public has the same potential is laughable at best and harmful at worst. while yes, firearms are everywhere, the proper training and organization amongst the population is extremely low. a well trained and organized neighborhood could wage a successful asymtrical war against a military force, but the existence of americans working together with such efficiency just isn't common. and while i support the 2nd amendment, i feel like saying that we still need guns to defend against the government and that it could be done in the current climate of the US is like that morbidly obese dude that risks a heart going up his front steps saying he could kick your ass if he got mad enough.
I did oversimplify. You're totally right. Also, the American rebels had already been battle hardened in the French and Indian War by the time we fought the revolution. Glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you can stick around and subscribe to help keep the channel growing 😊
one of my favs... and yep saying out loud for years that i feel like sly in demolition man in the so called "nowadays progressive society and politics" i grew old - great vid btw
Defending the failure to curb big sugar is crazy. Those huge sodas are completely unnecessary. Soda was not being completely banned. Just those ridiculous sizes. Agree regarding the real meat though. But natural meat is good for as opposed to big tubs of diluted high fructose corn syrup.
If you think that some governmental elite should make decisions for you, then move to China or North Korea. You'll get to find out what oppression and lack of choice is like. Regulation is oppression and stripping away choice makes people stop feeling responsible for their own actions. Your post as further encouraged me to go through with writing my new book, Krazy Klueless Kultist: The Rise of the New KKK in America.
If you are too apathetic to see the similarities between a thirty year old movie and today's societal degeneration or are addicted to CNN as your only news source, then I can see how you view it as fearmongering.
While I agree with most of what you said in this video, your assertion that the US military was defeated in Vietnam is beyond wrong. The kill ratio between US soldiers and the Vietnamese was almost one sided in favor of the US. The US was never driven out of Vietnam by military force and US defeat. The US left Vietnam only because of domestic unpopularity back at home. In point of fact, the side the US was backing didn't fall until 2 years after the US left the country. At best, you can argue that Vietnam was a political defeat only because the US failed to achieve its goals in Vietnam. Goals that ultimately became moot after the fall of the Soviet Union.
This new smaller tuber recommends is cool. My only criticism is you look like you are very blatantly reading off a screen, not sure if that can be fixed with different webcam placement or not. Just pointing it out.
Yeah, I've been trying to look more natural on camera. I'll keep trying! Glad you enjoyed the video. Hope you can stick around and subscribe to keep the channel growing 😊
