This song is from the same album as Artificial Light called Extremist. Ryan Clark said it's his personal favorite album of theirs.

Ryan Clark (lead singer) also is really into electronic music and has put out a decent amount of music on a side project. Demon Hunter plays with filters and electronic elements a little bit here and there as a result. It's really just there because the singer likes incorporating his other musical interests.

I started listening to demon Hunter around the time this album was being teased (not even announced yet). This was one of my favorite from Extremist. As a casual musician who only knows so much and a big fan of this band, I can both understand David’s opinions but also sympathize with Demon Hunters choices. Like David mentioned, they have a specific vibe about their music, like a thumbprint embedded with every song. In most songs he’s done from DH, David catches the threads of familiarity and at times he likes it and at times he doesn’t. I appreciate his time even though nitpicking on reviews can be a drag but it helps him and us as viewers understand his decision. We may agree to disagree some but I enjoy watching your vids David!

Good compromise for the score. I think of it as just weighing pros and cons; to me, nitpicking would be fixating on a very small component. Checking out the song from the May list, the only thing that really stuck out to me was the ending, and I was thinking/hoping the same thing you were about how it would go.
