When I was curled up in the back of my Explorer, detoxing myself off opiates, I had this song on repeat in my CD player. Now, with 7 years clean on July 30th, I was listening to it again. I will always give credit to this song for helping me get through that time.

I'm literally watching this and crying, this video represents so much to me. It NEEDS to be re-uploaded in HD!!!

This song gave me the encouragement to never give up when I was in such a dire situation. I just kept saying to myself " I'm not ready to die!"

Winter, 2004/05 I contacted tooth and nail records, I wanted to give out samples in my high-school...they sent me a box of sample cases with various artists Demon Hunter was a band I played on my boom box in the hall. I handed out all the samples... worship has many forms. So do emotions. Hence music change. Spreading truth should be free. God always provides.

When my faith was dwindling, I came across this band, and they changed me. Forever thankful for these guys.

They have a cool, relatively unique style. I really do like the singer, he has a good yelling voice and a good plain singing voice.

When I'm having a bad day with depression, I like to listen to this song. It gives me motivation to get back up and keep fighting through it.

Oh man, this takes me back! Back when I got saved in 2005 I think this was the first hardcore Christian song I ever heard.

My favorite demon hunter song

This is the song and band that was my introduction to metal and the band that ultimately got me into metal. Summer of Darkness is by far my favorite album.

Ryan Clark's voice is amazing.

I ended up in the hospital on April 24th due to pneumonia brought on severely by COVID. I had 67% oxygen levels and couldn't walk anywhere at all. After 9 days there, this song kept looping in my head. Bonus thought, I turn 33 on tomorrow (May 11), and I feel grateful to the hospital staff for caring for me and even praying for me as well, and now I have a new appreciation for my life and a new motivation to move forward...so in a way, the lyrics "if only 33 years can save my life, I've had 24 more to make things right" has two meanings to me now. I'm pretty sure the "33 years can save my life" refers to Christ saving us after dying at 33, but I also see it in my own personal way as my 33 years alive have given me a new awakening. I also had swine flu in 2009 which almost did me in, but even the doctors couldn't explain how I got better so rapidly after mass amounts of prayers for me just days before my release while I was in the ICU.

This song is great. Summer Of Darkness is amazing all together!

Nice, I'm digging these guys thus far, it's nice to see Christian metal going strong, and these guys keep it real to boot, great guitar riffs, good vocals, and all around, just awesome.

This was one of the very first songs I loved as a kid, I was 11 years old when this album was new, and this is when I decided I was into metal. Summer of Darkness is still one of my favorite albums to this day.

I remember when i first heard this song in 2004 in a group home and i've been hooked on demon hunter ever since. One of my favorite Christian Metal bands of all time. Praise the LORD for their messages.

I first saw this song while flipping through channels after school one day. I ended up stopping on a channel to grab something to drink and it was playing some Christian music videos. When I got back to the TV this started up, and I decided to wait until the music kicked in. Needless to say I had my Mr. Paperback order the album fkr me as soon as I finished listening and went into town. Been a huge fan since.

2019 and its still a favorite.
