Exactly what are you intending to sacrifice to cast demon of catastrophes? The only thing in your deck that isn't another expensive demon are the tokens made from rite of belzenlok. The card makes no sense in this deck.

@TheBlackestImp actually demon of catastrophes is bad card in this deck since you cant sacrifice anything worth except the tokens from rite of belzenlok. But I agree skeleton dragon is worse than an uncommon nowadays. I would use pilfering imp because i can sacrifice it to the demon of catastrophy or use it to discard and rakdos doesnt hurt it and i would use white for some lifegain and orzhow goodies

I can also sac a second spawn of mayhem or something like that to get closer to the contract. I agree this didn't quite work, but I felt it deserved a spot as a really good turn 5 play after rites.

@@comokazijeff use some imps for sacrificing they will also resist the showstopper flips.... you can also use the imps for discarding or for early flying blocker with the imp that is 4drops for a 2/3 flying

@@comokazijeff Maybe some fungal infections could be good for early removal, and if the token sticks, it's a good sacrifice target for Demon of Catastrophes.

Probably the only one, but I've been waiting for a rakdos, showstopper deck. Love the idea of a deck based around imps, devils and demons. Gotta love tribal.

Haha yep I think it's a super fun card. I think I'm still waiting for better devil's and imps, there are some good ones, but the demons are powerful.

I really like seeying a demon based deck, but playing liliana's contract should be a secondary win condition. I would add more little creatures to play more Demon of Catastrophes and maybe some more card drawing. Make the demons the win condition considering most demons are really powerful creatures by themselves

It might be fun to make it a mardu and make it a heaven and hell deck. lyra lifelink might help on that lifepoint issue, and those afterlife critters is a good snack for the demons

Arguel's bloodfast is a powerful card in that deck. I use a similar deck in paper and it i gives you a powerful comeback

Nice! Between prereleases and draft weekend, we opened 4 Rakdos. Been wanting to make a deck with them. Seems like a fun place to start.

great deck I liked the fact I got to see the theatre card work as well as rakdos even though your other demons are way better. I would agree maybe 2 lily cards and one or two more removal idk I'm more of a mill player but do have a rakdos deck well anti afterlife deck I just loathe that ability. have fun

Maybe replace demon of catastrophe with a smaller creature or vraskas contempt and add some eldest reborn and I could see this being really strong

Add Pirate’s Pillage and Treasure Map to get a lot of Mana and draw a lot of cards as these two cards together will get you through your deck quickly

No problem. I run a similar deck, but without the Enchantment that ends the game and I run only 13 creatures, all Demons, same as yours mostly. But I run a splash of white, and run Deafening Clarion as a board sweep that doesn’t kill my Demons and adds lifelink. Makes all the difference

Losing life and paying life are different. It could be useful, but I think life gain is more necessary for this deck.

Played against someone running this deck the other day. I was on the path for a huge loss until they dropped their Demonlord and drew 12 cards with CMC 4 or greater and killed themselves. Couldnt believe my eyes.

planeswalkers really shouldn´t be able to be use their ability the round they enter the battlefield. they are just broken powerfull. even when you have the perfect answer. they still got a 1 card advantage.

Rakdos is so bad. Feels like a hearthstone card. Should have better stats or work better with rakdos mechanic.

It's a possible one sided board whipe for 6 Mana that leaves a 6/6 with flying and trample.. what's wrong with that? It's definitely more of a commander card, but it's a fun one.

This deck is all wrong, you're losing too much life, and and sacrificing creatures from your saga, in turn will make you lose more life.. Having 4 contracts is a no brainer, instead try 2 use treasure maps, and pirates pillage for your card draw, put some fountains in there moment of craving and vraskas contempt.. you even said before you started you'd be killing yourself.
