I don't care what other people say, I think this is a pretty cool interpretation of Flamelurker's theme, even if it's totally different form the original. Gives the battle a bit more urgency and a more frenetic energy than the original, which made him seem a bit goofy almost.
Yea, the original makes him seem like a goofy red gorilla with funny music that sounds like farts, every song in the ps5 version is better, except Adjudicator Thanks for commenting
@@thegriffin4140 Totally agree. Finally got my hands on a PS5, and the new soundtrack is truly incredible. The music COMPLETELY reinvigorates Flamelurker and Storm King. Even the Phalanx Demon is kinda neat because the music is no longer carried by like... one trombone. I know a lot of people are clinging to the nostalgia for it, and I'm sorry, but I've beaten Demon's Souls like 7 or 8 times over the past ten years, and I think the remaster's music is superior in every way. And let's be real, if FromSoft HAD the money back in the day, they would've always sounded like this. Just listen to music from DS3 and Elden Ring, and tell me with a straight face that the Demon's Souls music was always meant to sound like it was done by 10 musicians in an auditorium. Come on now. THIS is what was intended, there's just the budget and production room to make it happen this time.
Most terrifyingly epic boss in the game hands down! Loved how they transitioned the track from a slow, burning, inevitable and painful approaching death to an epic encounter with perhaps he strongest demon in the game. Well, man-eaters are actually more terrifying but fk those guys XD
This gives a sense of panic and aggression. The original was more of a sense dread and of slow impending death. This new version is great. Different for sure , but good nonetheless !
Always use a fast weapon with him in melee build, or you will go pure white to pure Black in 7 min ahah. I was so slow with zweihander and armor, this boss really give me fear
yea, he's really hard when all you've been fighting are really slow and basically defenseless enemies/bosses, he's the only one who comes charging at you and near immediately kills you, besides man eaters of course.
