The amount of grass in the boss room depends on how many enemies fell down to the ground in the level before. Nice little gimmick which isn't really widely known 😁
The part where Cowboy fell on the npc mage and then proceeded to apologise to him made me laugh. NPC = "What are you doing" Cowboy = "It was an accident, I didn't mean it, I fell on you"
These have been great. I’ve played all the other Souls Game but never had the chance to play this one. I found it frustrating and obtuse but these guides make it fun. Appreciate you man!
Just a thought....you should include a speed run back to the boss from the starting point for each level. You could incorporate them in walkthrough videos (of course not now) or you could just make a quick, short mini series called “boss sprints”, a different vid for each boss. I’m sure it would be very helpful for players following your walkthroughs but die to bosses you beat. I know you do point certain things out regarding level layouts specifically for this reason but I think making quick clips to show the path one would take would be incredibly helpful and I imagine it wouldn’t take you too long to do it. Included in them you could point out areas to use extra caution, which enemies you can run past, which enemies you should kill, etc. Just a thought, nothing major either way. Love the videos man, in my opinion nobody does souls walkthroughs better than you! Keep up the good work and take care of yourself.
I’ve been watching your guides and taking notes and it has been very helpful for my first play through. It’s actually made the game feel quite easy. If I die it’s because I am not being patient and slipping from what I’ve learned. Loving the videos.
@@patrickforciniti7810 good choice. I wouldn't call myself a 'veteran' but I've played demon souls, dark souls 1, dark souls 3 and sekiro. Dark souls 3 is a nightmare if you are planning on playing the others 😂😂

That's exactly what happened to me with Bloodborne. I was cussing like, "WTF why would you make a game so hard that it takes 4 hours and 6 attempts to make it past an area that should take 5 minutes?!" I was just so used to being able to rush in aggressively and steamroll everything in other games. 2 years later I saw a cowboy walkthrough and now I've beat Bloodborne three times, Sekiro twice, Elden Ring three times, Dark Souls 3 twice, and now I'm working on Demon souls here. Well over 1,000 hours in Fromsoft games, they're my favorite games now.
Sameeeeee I’ve tried this game multiple times and have been pissed and gave up then I found this walkthrough but still almost gave up because he gave tips at the beginning how to beat that fat guy but he one shotted me and I just said maybe this game isn’t for me but tried again the next day and this walkthrough has helped soo much
God I hated this place as a Templar, but I came in very low Soul level and not knowing what is where. Came in with the mage following your guide and EZ Peezy. Thanks man, appreciate the time you put into this to help us out!
The boss difficulty was a little bit of a let down. I'll probably eat my words when I face the next one haha. Huge souls fan. Never finished the original game. Thanks cowboy for your time doing the walkthroughs. I usually listen (not watch) at work for a rough guide then when I get home it's game time.

Watched this video for the basic setup then ran through everything and first tried the boss blind having no idea what i was doing (best feeling in the world in souls games)
people who are going for the platinum dont use the spider souls for the bow or u will need another playthrough you have to save the spider souls for spells u need two spider souls for the platinum this is just for platinum chaser.
Cowboy you are seriously brave dude. I just sniped the leechy guy from above, took no damage and get a shed load of grass and other goodies. Love the irony that your character wasn’t intelligent enough to get the spell. Thanks for all the help as usual, although I’ll try a more cowardly method personally! 🤣

Also, after the leech fight, when I got back to the Nexus, the guy sitting in front of the Boletaria gate was gone, with a Storied Warrior Soul in his place. I’ve been talking with the NPC’s in the Nexus, after each outing, and he seemed to be slipping farther and farther into despair and madness. I think the last thing he said to me was “Who are you?” Or something.
As much as I love the regenerator ring. I just farm quick buy enough crescent and half moon grass to have 40 to 50 of each. Keep the cling ring and their ring on and have plenty of arrows at all times. If feels like it trivializes any of the hard parts so far
I was wondering why I couldn't use my evacuate and I remembered that we offered the talisman to the tree and could not use evacuate without it. Google were to get another one and found it kicking down the first bridge on 5-1. Also, could you please explain at what levels we have to be to use each spell or miracle. Sorry but I am new to souls games and I don't know much about what to level up. I just do exacly as you do. But I would like to see what you have equipped at the start of every vid. Other than that, thanks for your guidance.
For anyone in the future I recommend killing that grim reaper in zone 4-2 four or five times so you have the 20k needed to buy the miracle that let's you fast travel home to nexus with all your souls intact.

It kills me that you never mention the Great Club, it’s such an awesome weapon.. stronger than that crushing axe and it’s got a “knock down” affect that decimates enemies
@@ajreyes8743 I found the woman you can buy from but after I got the Beast Talisman I just darned Souls and leveled up Magic/Faith. Love the guy but sometimes it’s 2 minutes too late with our Cowboy 😂
Not that the boss is hard with the flaming melee attacks, but how would the fire arrows work against him from the top and just plucking down with them? I didn't think to try it before killing him. Mos definitely gonna check it out on the next play through.
I tried using the fire arrows on the boss from the top yet his health was generating to quick so in the end ran down and beat his arse with fire on my Axe and fire bombs 😉
I have a question. I started playing this character offline and then basically after bringing world 1 to neutral world tendency I was just choosing online because I didn't think it mattered being in soul form I wouldn't get invaded anyway. Will playing in online mode affect me getting worlds to pure white tendency? Im playing on a smaller older tv and can't tell if mine look the same as cowboys lol. I'm new to souls fyi thanks for any help given.
I'm new to this game and this is my first playthrough and I was wondering if fire arrows would work against the leech boss? I purchased some when I was farming the grim reaper.

Yet, for some odd reason I don’t get chunks from none of these guys, I’ve killed the red eyed demon guy at least 45 times. I have 67 shards but have yet to get any chunks for my battle axe

@@Boc_theSeamster dark souls 2 remastered had some crazy builds you could do . The katana was so good and the second or third dlc weapons were really fast. There was a maria weapon i think and a weapon from the samurai guy that was so op.
I admittedly don't have the time, patience, or desire to finish the game myself. I tried the game out for a little while myself and only made it halfway through the forest of the fallen giants.
I just accidentally pissed of freke and his apprentice before buying water veil. They are now aggressive towards me. Should I start over or ride things out?

I see in this episode you picked up another Talisman of God. I was so confused in earlier episode when I gave mine to the crow, then I didn’t have a talisman. I already had Evacuate and was bummed when i couldn’t find another talisman. Looked it up and it said Filthy Woman in this area sells one and played hell to actually get it. I can’t believe there was one right there on the ground where you kicked down the plank, all along. But it still begs the question, what did you use since the crow…? Im so confused lol

Hey Cowboy I didn't pick up the baby nail during the boss fight and I tried to go back for it but I still got the cutscene. Is there any way I can still get it this play through?

@@limitless929 just hold onto all of them or check the wiki. Then buy all the spells and overwrite your save from cloud and do the same with miracles. Once you have both achievements you can overwrite the save again and use the souls as you like.
@@Shvabicu Thanks for the info. So I shouldn't be aiming for the lava bow like cowboy? Because If my calculations are correct, lava bow & save scum needs 3 playthroughs, 2 without lava bow.
@@limitless929 if you can comfortably get through the game without it, wait until you can get the achievements. I'm midway through the game with a Compound Longbow +7 and the damage is really good so I think I'm good. As I wanna set this character up for a strength PvP build I think I'll have to pass on the Lava Bow anyway. Afaik it needs 16 Dex and I don't want to level Dex.
Only problem with this is even with save scumming there's spells that still require NG+. Maiden Astrea and Dragon God for example have 3 spells each, unless the trophy simply pops based on you having acquired the spell. In past games you had to have all the sorceries or all the miracles at the same time same character.
Guys it’s easier to just use photo mode and look at the level above you, if you notice there’s those big poison sacks just pop them with an arrow rather than attack and get poisoned
I hate this area more than the Prison or any other area. Makes me want to rage quit. Those giant buffoons' with the clubs killed me twice now. I feel like cashing in all of my boss demon souls and leveling up a lot more and destroying everything in sight.
Im doing a guts build I got the wizard pants the gloom armor the chained knight gauntlets the gloom healmet and currently boutta get the dragon bone crusher , and gargoyle crossbow and I’m using the fire spell to replicate his arm cannon
why would you say buy anything from the sage then 5 seconds later say do not get the fire spray? i paused the video after you said get anything and bought fire spray now i can not get the lava bow :(
Oops I messed up bad haha. Right after the Adjudicator I went to do your farming method and killed myself in human form because I’m an idiot and it’s 4AM. Is there any way to shift back towards white in this stage? Or am I screwed? Like does blue phantoming a boss shift tendency or anything?
I’m with you I did that reaper run 75 times trying to get the chunk, was able to get 3 of the 4 but finally gave up. I have plenty of shards though and plenty of levels.
@@DavidTowles yah I didn't really mind going once I used Warding. I felt pretty invincible with that one and the levels were adding up :). I don't know where to get the item for +5. I heard in all Black the Reaper can drop that too, but not going all Black yet.

Gave my talisman to the crow… I had two of them…. But now I have none after the trade… and that loot in 5-1 was definitely not another talisman… and I beat the slug fool and no old lady anymore…. Did I screw myself?
@@DarkFire6 he apparently disapears if you talk to him so many times using the talk option. I made the same mistake and I guess we can't get another miracle guy to unnattune until we save someone named saint urbaine I think. Not sure when that is though.
Hey so lets say I couldn't turn Boletarian Palace pure white when I killed the red dragon(I died in human form before) will I have a chance to turn it pure white later on? And does it have to be pure white for a certain trophy?
I was doing a Royalty mage build and accidentally used the soul for the miracle instead of the spell.. fml. Next build which will be as a temple knight I will have to purchase the all the spells which will be useless for me. Anyway around this?
