This is a version where all the characters are replaced by goofy cartoon cats, their names are frigging cat puns, and the simply say meow instead of words... And still... AND STILL this scene makes me cry, no matter what form this scene takes it will always make us cry

Okay, so I laughed when I saw Inosuke's fish mask, but then I quickly got immersed in this beautiful and tragic video I had no idea that you started on this before the movie came out, you guys are incredible to remake this so well!!! Okay, this animation being literal fire and a solid adaptation aside, can we just talk about how Dillon's facerig is literally perfect? Lipsync, hair physics, expressions, he's just become one with his animation style. Yes, I know how facerigs work, but this is the first time I have seen one actually perform to perfection. Incredible job on that one.

I think the fact that this scene hit so hard, even when the characters have goofy designs and say nothing but "meow" shows both the beauty of demon slayer, and the creator of these animations. Doesn't matter what you do to it, any scenes that are meant to hit you in the feels will do just that if you stick to the script.

THE TEARS. ARE FALLING. I've already seen the movie, bawled my eyes out, but this still got a good few sobs out of me, ngl. Your team did the manga such justice that if you all were in charge of directing and creating it for the actual anime movie it would have been good if not better! If for some reason they do not complete the anime, we can rest assure that you all are capable of at least animating it with cats for the rest of the manga (if you so desired!) What makes it such a tear jerker is not just the fact that rengoku died, it's how tanjiro stated how unfair it is for the slayers having to fight the demons at night where they have the advantage, and inosuke who you'd look upon as the tough one breaking down into tears

Im crying my damn eyes out because you captured this *perfectly.* Amazing work between you and the team. Sincerely. I cried JUST had hard as I did watching the movie and I've rewatched it like.... 4 or 5 times! It's never NOT heartbreaking watching Rengoku pass. Oh my gosh outstanding manga-to-animation adaptation. Truly.

I love how you all can portray so much emotion when the only "dialogue" i can hear is meows. This is so well done and just goes to show how much emotion you can portray solely through imagery. You've all come so far and I take inspiration from this channel!
