Fun fact:the voice actor that made yoriichi’s voice in the dub version is actually the same person who dubbed kakashi in naruto,his name is Dave wittenberg
Please Yorrichis voice actor is the voice of Kakashi and sabitos voice actor is Erens voice. The show should be honored to have these voice actors on board
I can't get over how manly yoriichi sounds in both versions kazuhiko inoue and mick Lauer did a killer job on this. Also this is what he said in Japanese "Nani ga tanoshii? Nani ga omoshiroi? Inochi wo nandato omotte irunda? Dōshite wasureru?"
They edited the audio in japanese, they tend not to do that in dubs, idk if it's a cost thing or a laziness thing, but yeah. The last line is delivered better in English, btw.
Both are so good. But this scene in sub feels really scary while in dub it's badass. But sub gives that scary feeling which Daki & Muzan's cells are feeling.
Fun fact: when daki have flashback/muzans cells saw yoriichi through tanjiro, we can see Yoriichi asked Muzan questions.. but then we see bunch of transitions of red slices. That is what muzan sees on how fast and when Yoriichi slices Muzan weak point. And that is why the doll have 6 arms. If the doll were to have 2 arms, the speed of Yoriichi wont be matched. But, even if the dolls were to have 6 arms. I still think it wont compete on how fast Yoriichi Tsugikuni.
Yoriichi: “Such disregard for human life!” “What’s so amusing about this!?” “So tell me then what the weight of a human life to you!?” Tanjiro: “Why can’t you understand!?” Yoriichi: “How can you ever forget!?”
the fact he mentions the weight of human life in the dub is abit of translation spoiler as I believe it's what he says is something like "how can you forget, the weight of human life"
