@@Miliwhitesauce0623 DON'T CRY EVEN IF YOU HAVE REGRETS! NO MATTER HOW PATHETIC OR HUMILIATED YOU FEEL, YOU STILL HAVE TO GO ON LIVING! -Inosuke Hashibira
When I hear his themes I literally think of him as the strongest hashira hahahha but he's not. I think among the Hashiras Rengoku is the most kind hearted one and always smiles . Which makes him different from the other Hashiras.
Rengoku reflecting back on what his mother told him as a child moments before he showed Akaza that he is a little bitch is one of the most powerful scene in anime history. Tanjiro begging Inosuke to move ended me.
Ahhhh 🔥🔥 goosebumps with auto Memories with little tears on eye... Glad that i founded the legendary Anime and the legendary Samuel and his team who creates this legendary theme 🔥. "Set your heart ablaze 🔥 go beyond your limits" Never give up......
Done my boy Rengoku dirty. The writer should have adjusted his power level higher amongst the hashira solely due to his sense of justice and mental strength. Should have at least reached demon slayer mark.
This whole ost is one of my favourites and when ever i listen to the Rengoku's last smile ost, tears dont stop flowing from my eyes. "SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE."
i was so sad when rengoku died it was like i died with him it was so sad he will stay in are hearts set your heart ablaze, go beyond your limits rengoku you will never be forgotten R.I.P
This song giving me real goosebumps ,goddamn chilling goosebumps through my entire body,....at the same time my eyes are filling with tears . Rengoku Kyujuro,..The True Flame Swordsman 🔥. All Hail Rengoku
It’s truly remarkable that Rengoku himself learned or self-thought himself flame-breathing with only a 3 volume book and still created its 9th form, known as hellfire “Rengoku”.
No cap demon Slayer has the best themes in new gen but just because of this and akaza's theme let's see what they make for doma and kokushibo gold or trash
What’s crazy is in the movie and anime, more than the crazy animation itself, it was Rengoku who gave me the most chills. Such an honorable human being. I miss him.
What a guy... - Charismatic. - Gentlemen. - Energetic. - Always smile. - Strong. - Lovely Big Brother. - Honest. - Believe in Humanity. - Respectable. - Keeping his promises to his mother. - Fears nothing even death. CHARACTERS LIKE THAT WILL BE ALWAYS REMEMBERED AS THE GOAT AND LEGENDS. Remember, strong person is not always about physical strength. But the will to protect the others. RIP REN🐐KU.
One thing that i learned from watching demon slayer is that dead people have more impact than the ones that are alive Rengoku is like a raging flame..it never extinguishes
A recurring theme in Demon Slayer is coming to terms with your mortality, which Muzan was never able to do hence his obsession with obtaining true immortality.
@@aRandomFox00 in that sense rengoku could be considered the most "perfect" character in demon slayer morally speaking. As he was one of the few that understood the distinction between honourable sacrifice and throwing one's life away. He was the only one in the series with a healthy relationship with death. All the other hashira have problems with mortality SPOILERS Shinobu is obsessed with revenge over her sisters death to the point that she's willing to throw her life away Muichiro is so unable to come to terms with his brothers death that he fully forgets his memories Gyomei is haunted by the deaths of those in his care Sanemi outright rejects his brothers entry to the cops as he's afraid of genya dying Obani and giyu both believe they are not worthy to be alive Mitsuri doesn't seem to have much of a problem (and she learned from rengoku) Rengoku understands the beauty in the fragility of life, and that one's death is not the end of them, the legacy they leave behind with continue for them. Brilliant character
Rengoku completed his duty and saved everyone on the train, showing that the Upper Moons aren’t invincible in the process. Even though he lost his life he passed the torch of his will to Tanjiro and emboldened him towards accomplishing his mission, this being much more important than the advice he passed down. Even if the wood has been splintered, the fire of your torch will still light the way… Rengoku Kyojiro
dude the mf did nothing, literally, he slept through almost the entire movie, it was Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko who did all the work. My guy didnt even kill Akaza and just died, how can you say he fulfilled his duty when he killed 2 peasant demons on the train and then slept? Hes nowhere near a well written character, and hes not as great. Tengen is much better than Rengoku, and thats facts.
@@fpsgunslinger7802 Are you SERIOUS?! The “peasant demons” were due to a demon’s *dream powers* and he woke up from them at the same time as the rest of the party. Then he gave Tanjiro a plan and stopped Enmu’s attempts to kill the passengers in *five cars* when the most any of the others could do was *two*! And after it seemed like they won they were attacked by THE FOURTH MOST POWERFUL DEMON IN THE WORLD who Rengoku nearly killed to prevent him from killing any of the passengers! Even Muzan said that Akaza FREAKING FAILED because he RAN AWAY AFTER LOSING THE FIGHT! This is to say nothing about Rengoku’s characterization which I won’t bother to explain because you need a reason to SEE THE MOVIE like SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY HAS THE RIGHT TO TALK ABOUT IT!
@@fpsgunslinger7802 You are MF!! He was able to almost kill Upper Moon 3, 4th strongest demon!! I also like Tengen, but you just can't insult Rengoku!! You should watch the movie again for sure!!!
@@darthvader3155 wait until you learn his past; he's basically the demon slayer version of Anakin Skywalker. I think it's so fitting for Rengoku to die while fighting Against Akaza.
Rengoku won, no debate. I just can't stop thinking about how at some point he totally realizes the gap between his level compared to Akaza's level yet he remained true to his belief till the very end without selling his soul. A life lesson.
Let's not forget the potential he would have had if his father had properly taught him fire breathing. If that were the case he might have even won this fight and changed the entire story of demon slayer.
The fact that even the antisocial Hashiras had good relationships with Kyojurou showcases how he was well developed in both senses, in both martial force and pleasant personality
@@Malvium yes, that's my point. You can't say he (that is, his personality) does well with others just because the writer of the show says so, but if he said something like "i would like a person like him irl" then i would 100% agree. It is like answering "why do you think dragons exist" with "because I wrote it in this book of mine", it can't be seen as a fact (because this guy said "The fact that even the antisocial Hashiras had good relationships with Kyojurou showcases..." while in reality it doesn't showcase anything).
Comment "SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE" if you miss Rengoku... I just finished re-reading DS manga and DS Stories of Water and Flame.. I miss Rengoku so much.. 😭
The flame pillar... Will always have respect... The pillar who nearly brought low Upper Moon 3... Heh... *I would have loved to put my blade through his heart* 🌒 (I'm kidding about the lat part btw)
This is my final Demon Slayer Video for now. Thank you so much for the amazing love and support on my DS arrangements. I will be back soon with more EPIC Demon Slayer Covers!!! Below is a list of upcoming DS Covers (SPOILER WARNING) 1. Zenitsu vs Kaigaku Theme 2. Kukoshibo Theme 3. Akaza vs Giyu & Tanjiro Theme and MANY MORE!
I love how Rengoku is pure brass and trumpets, while Tengen is more synth and heavy bass instruments. I'm so excited for Samuel Kim's rendition of the other Hashira themes.
@@AyanogoatjiKiyotaka there's no comparing two wise humans who fought till the end of their lives in order to protect other people and fullfill their duty.
Rengoku is truly an enlightening person, his flame never dies. When I have kids one day, and they ask me what shows I used to watch, I’m telling them about Demon Slayer for sure. Keep doing your best everyone, be kind, and be yourself. Don’t cheat, don’t lie, set your heart ablaze like Rengoku.
However arcs may come, Hashira's we may se and the legendary fights we experience.......Flame hashira Rengoku will always be the one having a special place in our hearts❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Manga reader here and don't worries I'll be avoiding spoilers; Every hashira has a unique trait and you'll love every one of them. But Rengoku IS the most noticeable of them; for tanjiro Rengoku was like a big brother who he never had and because of this Rengoku's words and his brief experiences with him play a big role on his journey in the series.
Seriously? It should go tamer now sadly... Rengoku without a doubt was the most emotional and brute power displayed, the second one (Entertainment (BORDELL REALY! READ ABOUT IT FIRST!) district) was nothing but speed realy. Shure the entire district is ash now, but thats only historical accurate given the entirety of tokyo was destroyed by that quake 1923(Yep, now you can pinpoint in what time demonslayer play's XD They gave it away like that XD).
Light your internal organs on fire! But wow, Rengoku's death was Just... too well done. I don't usually cry over much of anything, let alone tv shows/movies (the closest I get to tears are always with books). I even had his death spoiled before I watched the Mugen Train arc, and I assumed I wouldn't feel anything much when he did. Plus, my first impression of him was the Hashira meeting where he wanted to kill Nezuko, which is probably the fastest way to make me dislike a character, so Rengoku had a pretty high mountain to climb to get me to care. Let me tell you: he climbed it very fast. He was just too likable, and I found the way he kept smiling and fighting and struggling on despite so much of his life going wrong or ending up disappointing -- even up to his last breath -- so incredibly inspiring. When Azaka punched through his stomach, I was really upset, despite knowing it was going to happen. I thought it was a depressing way to go out, and I didn't feel much except for disappointment at that moment. Of course, this is anime, and he kept on fighting in an insanely cool last stand that surpasses Commander Thorn's in Clone Wars, which is a much better way to die. Tanjiro yells at Azaka for being a coward, which was the first time I cried, and then it just kept ramping up. By the end of the first episode of the Entertainment District arc, I'd shed tears on seven separate occasions. I cannot ever appreciate enough the way Rengoku's death was handled: it is heart-wrenching, inspiring, warm, and unfair all at once: just like the rest of his life. I also love that the other characters were as shaken up by his passing as I was -- it made it so much more devastating to feel like the show itself was grieving Rengoku with me. Also, the music hits hard: but considering where I am you probably already knew that. alright time to throw this comment into the abyss of nothingness and hope that maybe someone sees it one day. UMAI!
Rengoku is like Guy Sensei of Demon Slayer, but only with a few episodes worth of screentime/back story. And still his lasting positive impact on future story development in the series, and for people in RL as well is insane. And not to mention his EPIC theme songs. And wonderful covers by Samuel Kim!! Great job!🙏
thats because he left such an impression on every person he was able to meet and interact with. the writing for his character is so good. the fact that he was the first to accept Nezuko and then willing to train Tanjiro. but i will admit that his death is a big catalyst for our characters to better themselves and push for their goals T^T so i can see why the author would do what they did.
@@Wemthoubeat well why not? Both characters worked hard all their life to fight the one battle and give it their all just to protect everyone Guy gives his life to protect his future generations similar to rengoku. They are similar
When I first saw Rengoku in an episode when Tanjiro’s been brought to trial for travelling with Nezuko, I thought he was utterly weird and scary with all his demeanour. After Mugen Train Arc I couldn’t cry more for any character than for him. He is an absolute embodiment of a perfect human.
Rengoku was a very intense person. In the beginning, at the Hashira meeting, he did come off a bit mean lol. But I tried to see it from their perspective too.
"Go ahead and live with your head held high. No matter how devastated you may be by your own weakness or uselessness, set your heart ablaze. Grit your teeth and look straight ahead. Even if you stop and crouch down, time won't wait for you or snuggle you and grieve along with you. Don't feel bad that I'm going to die here. As a Hashira, of course I would shield my juniors." Never have I cried during a movie , but while watching Mugen train tears flow out spontaneously .
Rengoku was the one with no tragic past and sad backstory ,he fought just because he wanted to protect everyone and that's how he's special. Set your heart ablaze 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rengoku’s past was kinda sad, but his positive attitude and, much sadder backstories just overshadowed it Rengoku’s father never acknowledged him, and he lost his mother at a very young age, that’s sad enough i believe
@@PlayNudge when we compare his story with his fellow hashiras who were accused by the ones they saved from demon / killing their loved ones because they turned into demon / or loosing their loved ones cause they were killed by demons ,in a world like this rengoku's backstory was like a normal one
His backstory was not sad but he had a difficult life... Losing mother at an young age, father turning so irrational, angry and abusive.. He also had to learn maximum forms by reading from a book Legendary hashira🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@rohitsharma-hc9qo that's what i said, his story was overshadowed by the others and made it seem like it was normal, but no one likes losing a parent no one likes not being acknowledged even after working extremely hard
This man is argubly more impressive than muichiro in my opinion. He was abandoned by his father, lost his mother at an early age and still became a demon slayer despite all that. This incredible willpower, along with teaching himself flame breathing AND becoming a hashira makes him one of the best characters in anime in my opinion.
Muichrio whole family was killed when he was just 11-12 yrs old. Muichiro pass the selection test and become hashira in just two months is a increadible feats itself. Muichrio is just 14 yrs old and in that age : He fully master mist breathing and created his own exclusive form ,the 7th form which shows how much talented he is. With marked he soloed and killed an uppermoon all by itself(remember uppermoon 5 neck was as strong as diamond). In the infinity castle arc,he faced kokushibou and impress him with his mist breathing techniques and but as you know unfortunatley he got badly defeated in that fight . In this fight ,muichiro got to know that he is the last desendant of tsugikuni bloodline(kokushibou desendant) In the second fight, muichiro with marked able to unlock transparent world on his own and with heavy injuries(one arm was cut Off) he fought with sanemi and gyomei and lastly he achieve the red blade of nichirin on his own and attack kokushibou body but unfortunatley muichrio got sliced half by kokuahibou but still he didn't let his sword go from kokushibou until the very end of that fight. Muichiro sacrifice is consider to be one of the greatest sacrifice in the story and with all this thing put muichiro way above rengoku in overall story.
Set your heart ablaze Go beyond your limits "Rengoku" 🔥🔥🔥 The man of justice,He is the most honorable anime character who stole our heart with very limited screen time
Renguksan became Hashira on his own by learning from just three volumes! Can you imagine how much potential he solely holds within not just "Kyojuro family" but within whole demon slayer corps with such an neverending spirit? He never learned to get hopeless even seeing his own father abandon being a demon slayer corps...
even if he had learn all the form of flame breathing then also he would not have been in top 5 hashiras. Other hashira feats were way above rengoku in the story.
@@hazardEXE27 bro hes talking abt his potential. U can't count his feats. Well I do agree that power wise most probably he won't be in the top 5 but he could become the 5th strongest if he was properly taught by his father
@@shardulkalyan3116 top 5 hashira : 1) Gyomei Himejima(Strongest hashira in last 300 yrs + marked + insane weapon use) 2) Sanemi Shinazugawa( 2nd fastest hashira+ marked + marechi blood+ skillful swordsman+insane durability) 3) Obanai Iguro( marked+skillful swordsman+ red blade(own)+ transparent world(own) 4) Giyu Tomioka ( marked+ skillful swordsman+ strong breathing technique) 5) Muichiro Tokito( marked+skillful swordsman+ high potential + red blade(own) + transparent world (own) + full use of mist breathing) So i don't thing any form of rengoku could match the level of these 5 hashira.
@Noodles no bro.The power difference of akaza and rengoku is pretty huge and in every situation rengoku couldn't match akaza. Also 20-25 yrs is the peak yrs for slayer and bro currently most of the slayer has the same age range..(Rengoku age was 20 yrs). So the age difference is not problem. The thing is other slayers are way skillful, have more abilities and are more stronger than rengoku. So that why rengoku would fall in 7th-8th rank out of 9 hashira.
@Noodles but giyu defended akaza final form attack when he was in unmarked state through dead calm ,Sanemi also faced and resisted kokushibou in unmarked state . That shows that these slayer have high skills + have higher abilities (giyu had dead calm and sanemi has insane wind breathing power which even deflected the crescent moons of moon breathing). Rengoku purgatory barely defend akaza 3rd strongest attack so even if rengoku got mark,i doubt rengoku will be able to defend blue silver ......(destructive death:final form ). Also don't forget tengen insane physical feat which defended gyutaro speed (gyutaro potential was uppermoon 4). As you tengen is the fastest and 2nd strongest hashira and the only thing he lacked was breathing technique. So even in unmarked state also ,the ranking of the hashira are: 1)Gyomei 2)Sanemi 3)Giyu(for his dead calm) 4) Tengen 5)Rengoku 6) Mitsuri 7) Muichrio 8) Obanai 9) Shinobu As you can see even in unmarked state also rengoku stood chance in top 3 hashira So him winning or surviving against akaza even in marked state is pretty impossible. It required insane power ,skills and abilties to win against like akaza . Only marked gyomei has 60% chance to win/survive against akaza.
I still remember watching the movie and thinking that for sure he will win (i wanted him to win) even though it will be the toughest battle of this life and maybe he wont be able to fight again after he wins. I just cant shake off the ending scenes of the movie, they were brutal but he became my fav Hashira even though he might not have been the strongest one. I wish his father would have acknowledged him and trained him before he died. Yeah i wrote a long essay but this is a testament to how well Demon Slayer is written and made.
I cried realizing he couldnt win even thou he should have. Watched it basicaly yesterday for the first time. Especiel during his final gambit, where he was basicaly already dead, i still belived that he would win or at the very least SEVERLY HURT Akaza... but reality did come. Akaza was little more than hurt emotionaly by those insults of tanjirou AND a fellow warrior dieing like that.
I remember one of the after credit scenes where they asked all the Hashiras what they thought of Rengoku and everyone had nothing but nice words for and about him. He's so well loved 🥲🔥
Rengoku and your Demon Slayer covers changed how I watch anime. I'm so much more attentive to sounds and music as I watch the episodes. Thank you young Samuel, SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE
I was about to give up watching Demon Slayer but I keep watching because of Rengoku. Like it's a promise to watch until the end because of him. I don't know. This may be weird but I fell in love with his character for some reason I don't know.
The comments i can't i wanted to know more about rengoku cuz i live he's personally honestly haven't been so attached to an anime character before i shed tears when he died tbh he's my favorite character i want to know for things about him and he died so early and the fact that they made he's character so good he's up bright personality, hes strong but kind, loving, caring, respectful and more he fears nothing thats why so many people love rengoku i don't think he deserved to die one of the most lovable character ❤💛🧡 and ill never forget him if your wondering why its this long and why i made this comment is for the people to know how loving, caring, kind and strong rengoku is i love him SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE -rengoku kyojiro❤💛🧡
I'm literally shivering and amazed by the songs.. Each time i hear the song, i literally remember the scenes when Rengoku fight Akaza. Rest In Heaven Rengoku. *Set Your Heart Ablaze*
the fact that Rengoku only lost cause he was tired, the fact that it took tanjiro and giyu powered up with their slayer marks at the end of the series to come together and stop him, THE FACT THAT HE LEARNED WHAT HE DID FROM LIKE 2 BOOKS. Its just- truly, he's up their with the greats like Madara, killed cause of plot armor. To me, that's its own level of respect, when the author himself has to step in and put you in a situation where your gonna loose and you STILL almost win. Like damn. What a man Rengoku was.
I decided to workout while listening to this and in the end of my home workout i lied down on the floor and 'rengoku's last smile' track was playing, idk why but i had tears in my eyes and I said "I'm alive, ty god". This was so deep and i loved how i felt at that moment. Guys be thankful for the basic things you have and don't forget to Set Your Heart Ablaze! Ty samuel
First time ever seeeing demon slayer was mugen train. To accompany my niece she was a fan, and the more the story progressed with rengoku the more I came to admire and tear up seeing his fate. At the end I walked away a fan of the series but with a new perspective of duty, and will no matter how hard things are or are going. You need to grit your teeth and set.your heart ablaze and give it your all to the end ❤
