Yoriichi isn't just a human, and I have a theory that he was truly "blessed" by the Gods. Everything screams Amaterasu, look up her lore, she's the very reason demons cant reign freely in the folklore. Yoricchi is blessed to be her instrument, not because a human became a demon (again possibly) but because it was trying to violate the balance of nature. So Yoriichi wasn't just blessed, the man WAS MADE to bring about that balance. Strangely its very much hinted that although Tanjiro isn't a direct descendant, he still very much inherited Yoriichi's philosophy and moral compass. That's right, our little cinnamon roll straight up follows the same path as this MONSTER.

Ofc he has been blessed by the gods, from the fact that he was such a prodigy with a sword, yet never wanted to wield one again after the first time, from the moment he was born with a mark. If he wasnt blessed and was only a normal human, hed be akin to Michikatsu at best, who sacrificed everything for power who dedicated his existance to reach the perfection of Yoriichi yet never did despite being the 2nd strongest Slayer of the "Golden age". Hell thats part of the reason why Kokushibo's backstory is so tragic, because he trained harder than everyone, he left everything and everyone behind to reach perfection, mastery of his style etc... But reaching perfection is only something the gods can do, not a mortal, and a cursed immortal being cannot either ultimately as a curse means imperfection.

I was so blown away by the Entertainment district arc and the moment tanjiro goes full on ultra instinct of daki. I never imagined the manga would be translated beautifully in such a manner and the ending of the entertainment district had me tearing up so i will probably full on cry during the series take on it.

I have a massive crush on Yorichi not just because he's extremely handsome and the STRONGEST, first Sun Breath user,-🚨SPOILER ALERT !🚨 but because he's had a very hard life, and still he managed to remain selfless and fight for what's right. He managed to beat and terrify Muzan -The Demon King- to his very core. He reminded Muzan that humans are not as weak as he claims, there will always be someone to stand against evil. Tanjiro and the rest of the HASHIRA Demon Slayers are proof of that.

The most powerfull hashira have one of the saddest story. Capable to do the imposible, he was an undefeated warrior, and yet he lost the most important fights and won at the same time. That bittersweet ending that was his life is what I love the most about his legend.

Every time those lines play, I remember his face, the disgust, the anger, the hatred, the fire that engulfs his face and yet there is a calm composed posture. Without knowing who he is, any one with a half a brain would know what he is capable of. Never underestimate a man's potential to be dangerous specially if he can calmly make you shit your pants with just his words, chances are he can back it up with his actions and you won't live to regret it.

Yorichii, The Demon Slayer that died standing against his brother... Trained a lot of slayers and Hashiras to improve their combat capability and give them breathings... Didn't lose any power even though he was very old. This OST is what Yorichii deserves!
