To get a Super Snake package and have it registered as such, you have to get it done by the book which includes badging, different aftermarket hood, Shelby brake callipers and super snake striping on the sides. It has none of that. Shelby American also retains all factory parts replaced as part of the agreement to getting a SS package. So he wouldn’t have the factory hood. Shelby American also claims their SS package doesn’t fit under the factory hood which is why the fit you with an aftermarket one.
I think it is great that you didn't get sucked into the argument and avoided getting into a fight with a bunch of immature boys. Saying "a Super Snake" is not giving much information; in contrast, saying "Dodge Demon" is very specific, as it means unequivocally a vehicle with either 808 or 840 factory advertised horsepower. Setting up a Demon for 840 hp includes such exotic procedures as diverting the air conditioning to cool the fuel. A note about the GT500: the last one Ford sold had an advertised 662 hp, so a 300 hp Nitrous Oxide system would give it 962 hp numerically.

Jose Rodriguez that's because you don't know what you're talking about. You're right a gt500 will keep up with a stock Hellcat. With good tires they run 10.9-11.0s on the average. Demonology runs 10.1-10.2 on the average. Nitrous is not taking a second off a car in the 1/4. Probably not even half that. So for this guy to stay with the Demon like he did, stick and all he has a lot more than nitrous. And for the record guys are putting about 7k into their Hellcats to run what Demonology is running.. Use common sense, no idiot would put 500 on the line knowing he was probably 100hp down from the Demon. Especially knowing he's driving a stick. No one is that stupid. You also know your logic makes no sense right? You said that he got smoked by a Hellcat with Nitrous and you said the Gt500 runs with the Hellcat so even if the guy was just running nitrous then why couldn't he beat Demonology. Really digging the channel, takes me back 10 years ago to high school but in a much better setting. We used to street race in Galveston at 'Cherry Hill' and at several other meets in the Houston-Galveston area. I never raced for money, but there was plenty of people like that guy supposedly 'stock' lol

Mustang Fan here. Not hating but the guys have to know what they have. The blue car is a GT500 not a super snake. The other is a Demon. The Shelby is a 2013 or 2014 stock won’t beat a demon. Modified the right way it can. Demons come already beefed up from dodge. They are bigger super chargers and more psi than any stock car in its class if it has one. That’s why its faster than most stock cars they claim to beat. Camaro owners have a good chance of beating a demon if ppl new what they needed . But when it comes to bragging stock for stock yes the Dodge Demon has it. So what im saying is Demon is a fast car but can be beat. Learn the specs of your cars guys. Not just put stuff you think will make it fast. Newer cars like camaros and mustangs have a 2.3l super charger. Demon has a 2.7l supercharger. Most stock cars have 8 to 15lbs of boost. Demon has 12 to 14 from factory. Suspension on demon was made to transfer to the rear wheels. Shelby and Camaros are designed for the street and causal strip. Nice wins though Demonology. Keep up your slaying till you meet a real racer that knows performance.

Completely right the demon was crated for the 1/4 miles race Wich make him a tuff car to beat but Mustang GT cobra 500 was made for race track and the 1/4 miles take them to a circuit race track and you will see the diferece wneh it come to get a curve at high speed between the cobra and the demon, I'm not bashing the Demon since I think it is an amazing car but they are king in a different ways just like the Corvette the king on her own category. People want to match them like they are the same cars and they are not the same they play in the same roll but not in The same position, is like Jordan vs LeBron both are amazing basketball player but LeBron is stronger and Michel is more agile make him a more complete player, the same Demon vs Cobra, demos is stronger and faster in the 1/4 mile but mustang is more agile on the streets making the mustang a more complete and better driving experience on the street.

markurbancowboy come out to one of the tracks in Florida, you can watch it all day. Not saying they aren't fast, they are very impressive for a stock car. Problem is theres a million cars out there that run faster than a 9.65(which NO ONE has ever seen a 9.99 on a completely stock demon let alone a 9.65)

It wasn’t a very fast car unless it was on a tire. The Shelby in this video isn’t a supersnake or 1000 but with the modifications they’re saying, he would more than likely eat a supersnake.
Moldygreenbean I actually been to the Shelby factory in Las Vegas . There are options for a widebody super snake, it’s not just the 1000. I’m aware not all super snakes are wide body. I’ve seen countless amount of super snakes at ford festival at knotts berry farm and good guy car show. Yeah I was somewhat wrong saying widebody but there are widebody super snakes.

Stock gt500s run mid to low 11 at 124-126. Hero run no heat soak with perfect driver can get a 10.9 but not back to back. With a new supercharger and nitrous he could easy be 1000 wheel. Just a 50 shot adds 100 whp to a boosted car. Most guys run 100-150 shots the power doubles on boost. The good lord doesn’t like scammers so that’s why he lost he got hustled insert driver mod.

No matter the car you need the driver mod to win. Demonology knows how stage the car and knows how to nail the lights, you get a half second better light that other guy has a crap load of gap to make up for. I don't know what the reaction times were for either but I do know the GT500 driver was asleep and sleeping is losing. Nice job Demonology! For some that don't understand what he did, its courtesy to not hit the 2nd stage light until the other racer hits the first one. He doubled and sat there for a second to break the mustang's concentration and then staged ready to bust that ass. Very nice move!!! That's some OG racing

It wasnt a Super Snake tho wish you guys knew the difference. This man took a stock GT500 on tire and embarrassed himself bc of his loud mouth fan club boosting his ego. When he shoulda did his homework. Esp on this demon in particular bc this car run better than alot of other stock demons.
