I'll give the movie its due: The idea of the house still existing when you enter the ruins' door is good, and the makeup is pretty kickass.

That zillow joke was so accurate, I had to pause the video and have myself a nice, extensive giggle fit.

The lenticular VHS cover was arguably the best thing about the whole production

I unironically like this movie! It’s so goofy but a hell of a lot of fun plus that box art was great seeing it at a rental store back in the early 90s!

Honestly, I'm super down to find and watch this one! Just between the random "magic trick", the alien looking transformation out of 'nowhere', and the guy de-aging.. into a dove! Seems like my brother, sister and I would enjoy watching it together hahah

I unashamedly, unconditionally love this film. Loved it when I was a kid and to this very day. I know it’s cheese, it’s a ripoff of Night of the demons, but there are some great idea within it and… well I’m just real sentimental about it.

I remember when I got some demon wind after eating 3 consecutive burritos! Totally worth it though!!!!

0:57 I almost choked on my food hahaha I personally love this movie, I think its a blast and almost all the low budget qualities work in its favour in my opinion. Also, Francine Lapensée the blonde actress is quite stunning and has strong Laura Dern vibes.

Neat! I had seen the VHS box and at a local Blockbuster in the anime section alongside the innocent Totoro, the hilarious english dub version of Angel Cop and other titles from the east. It seems that either the management and staff didn't bother to read the back of the box or were trolling parents. Thank you for the fun and informative overview of this well intentioned, but flawed as heck horror film.

I remember seeing the video cover in video stores. It had a holographic look to it, and the demon on the cover would break through the window. I never rented it, because the demon on the cover looked more like a hybrid bat/reptile creature than a demon.

That glyph doesn't ward off Imhotep. It shows that someone in the home is a big Alan Parsons Project fan.

I remember catching a littlebit of this flick on VHS my uncle renting it from are local video back in the 90's the film didn't leave a big impression on me I remember feeling let down when Chuck&Stacy got killed off because I actually remember liking them out of all of the characters in the film but that's just me. BTW that's cool you was able to find out about Lou Diamound Philips or as both my friends love to call him ''LDP 4 Life'' being a extra in this film I'm shocked you wasn't able to spot him?? LOL. Just watched " In Search of Darkness " parts 1 and 2 . It's a full plate going alm 8 hrs, but I loved it and it was good to put a face to all your videos. Great job,hope to SEE you more as you keep rising. Keep doing what you are doing because you are damn good at it Cecil!

I Always talked about this movie I watched as a teenager that felt like a homage to The Evil Dead, saw it once in a time slot called "Tanda del Trasnochador - Noches del Terror" "("Late Night Features - "Horror Nights") here in Panama back in the 90's, and never to be seen again. Thanks for covering it, might watch it again now that I know its name. ¡Saludos desde Panamá!

this is one of those movies I've been trying to remember the name of for years. The cheesy magician with kung-fu is what I remembered but googling that doesn't pull up this movie. Now I know. I will probably forget again later today.

Timing is important. Today I get back from traveling and see this video upgraded shortly before. I didnt know the Demon Wind until a few weeks ago when I discovered and binge-watched The Horror Geek. Hey wait a minute. Many of the jokes here are ones he said too.

I will be 32 April 2023. This movie use the scare me to death when i was about 10 or 11.. Remember going to a freakin' Blockbuster an holding the VHS tape an it has a shiny case that changed when you tilted it.. My mom rented it an we all watched it together... I was terrified... The girl on the hill pointing her finger at the car as its going down the road always creeped me out an has stuck with me till this day... I have seen this film countless times since then. To me its a classic an always will be... Very VeRy underrated movie🎥 💯

I seen this monstrosity on VHS some years ago. It’s…interesting? to say the least, however some of the practical FX & makeup are actually pretty decent for the budget. It seems the effort was there, but the execution was inconsistent.

You forgot to mention the woman in his dream where he is naked at the gas station is his grandma Freud would love to dissect Cory's brain lol

Obviously it was to prep for the over the shoulder shot w/ no reflection BUT it ALSO obviously means (story wise) that there was NO WAY they couldn't have heard the mains.....and yet....movies.
