DEMONIO FLEUR! One Piece Episode 1044 BREAKDOWN 

One of the best episodes of Wano... Hell, one of my favorite episodes of One Piece personally. This fight was done such justice. In Koyama we trust. 🙏

When I saw that Koyama was episode director I knew we were in for something good. Such a well crafted episode from everyone involved. I wished for months that Shida would animate Demonio Fleur and he did in what I think is one of his better recent key animations. Such a great episode! Nico Robin is GOATED 💜😈

Man even in the middle of such an incredible episode Momonosuke's request to Shinobu really leave an impression in me. The seiyuu did an increible work as always

Taking a break last week from the anime and watching both 1043 and 1044 back to back, truly was a wonderful experience 👌👌👌(Well deserved adaptation for the best Tobiroppo fight). In particular this episode 1044 was absolutely incredible, Robin's Demonio Fleur was PEAK FICTION🔥😈🔥 Overall: Robin and Brook vs Black Maria and her minions - Great fight both in the anime and manga but I think the overall visual direction, composition and add scenes made it even better in the anime. Jinbe vs Who's Who - Good fight both in the anime and manga but it was a very straightforward adaptation so I don't necessarily think the anime elevate the original material, so in this case the anime=manga in quality for me. Franky vs Sasaki - Ok fight both in the anime and manga but worse in the anime, the finally part was very clunky with subpar animation and I think they should have left the entire fight in episode 1041 to be more impactful.

Rlly nice Episode. Im looking forward for the next two Episodes. Some new Director from Fireforce and my Fav Katsumi Ishizuka return as a SToryboarder in the new Episode in 2023. I hope he does Animate a Scene too.

This episode would have been amazing if they did not show us Robin's flashback again after using an entire episode for it before. I guess the slower pace makes Robin look like she struggled way more but this is the prime example of an episode where i think " just get on with it" while i am watching.

Koyama, I fucking kneel. Next episode will be from Fire Force director Yuji Tokuno, HYPED!
