One of the worst things about modern democracy is that if you vote at all, for anything, they can say "you voted for this," simply because you have the ability to cast a vote for somebody or something every few years. The essence of democratic government is the government can do whatever it wants regardless of how anyone feels about it.

I live an hour away from Springfield. Far enough away to not have to deal with the BS going on there fortunately. But makes my blood boil. There are so many struggling Ohio towns. This Haitian dump would be the last thing any of these towns would need even in the best of times.

Canadian Haitians in Montreal cannot be compared to what is going on in Ohio. Canada takes very few Haitians per year and they must have high school or college degree. The guys in Ohio came straight from the slums of Port au Prince. The other thing that is annoying about the Ohio Haitians is that there seems to be business interests involved looking for no skill low wage labour.
