LPD (aka "Lawrence Petross Design") Seventy 4 is a late Plexi / early master volume Marshall era amplifier in a box and boy does it sound killer.

I've played a lot of the Marshall in a box pedals. They seem to be either really good or really bad. Lawrence Petross has a whole host of them in his back catalog and the all sound bonkers good. I knew I was in for a treat.
I own a 70's 2204 JMP and I grew up obsessed with Marshall amps. I know what they sound like and I know what they feel like. The Seventy4 sounds and feels like a good ol' 70's Marshall should. It has the grit and the bite. The presence control on this pedal is SPOT ON. The tone stack is SPOT ON.
Overall, I was unsurprisingly impressed with the work that Lawrence did on this pedal. The facelift to the enclosure done by my friend Sean Harold looks spectacular too.
