The Chop Noise pedal is exactly the same as the Rainger FX Dr. Freakenstein Chop Fuzz was (now discontinued), except instead of the knife switch it has one more extra feature... a random noise board!
It’s always-on, but totally silent until you activate it by pressing the ‘NOISE’ button.
The harder you press, the faster the noise pattern cycles; press lightly though, and you hear all the gory detail of the noise, slowly churning and grinding.
Take your finger off, and the noise stops.
The actual noise sound does vary - it’s not a fixed thing. And every time you switch it on you get a randomly different version.... Engine revs, skids, chirps, pops and satanic voices - all changing in pitch as they speed up or slow down!
This feature is designed for all the desktop producers and on-the-floor pedal tweakers in the world.
