Thank you for the guide. Helped me a lot! Edit: I found that Forbidden Material: Steel wasn't a problem with that ebony dagger from the Custom character questions. Huge bonus on the difficulty slider!
Thank you for creating this video. I love games which have this level of depth and complexity, but on the other hand I sometimes find it overwhelming trying to decide the best way to get started and so paradoxically never actually get anywhere at all because of it. Your video has really helped demystify this process though and given an excellent starting point to explore the game further. Subscribed 👍
Thanks, I'm glad the video was useful! Also, I agree, Daggerfall is definitely one of those games where you can be overwhelmed by the amount of choices and options it presents you with. That's why I decided to make this video based on Messiena's excellent guide, so I can't take all the credit. I figured it'd be a way to give their guide more exposure and make it easier for people to find and digest the information it contained.
Last I checked it was always free on steam, and still is. I mean I checked again this morning and it's listed as free, so I don't know why it wouldn't be for you.
@@theomniwildcard thanks for telling me, for some reason it wasn’t showing up and I had to find it through google but now I’m playing it and having a good time,
@@Highonskooma I'd recommend Daggerfall Unity for playing this game. It fixes a bunch of bugs and includes all the different version's quests. It still requires the base game to be installed to work so it's good you found it, but yeah I'd recommend the Unity port which this guide was made using.
