We visit Den Blå Planet, the National Aquarium of Denmark which is located in Amager in Copenhagen. It is the largest aquarium in Northern Europe and shows it off well with a well designed building and great marine life to see up close and personal.
We had a great night walking around and enjoying the aquarium, we highly recommend going for yourself. They definitely need visitors to start coming back again, so go for it!

Den Blå Planet does so much to science and preservation of sea life. Previously they were Danmarks Akvarie, but with their new location and beautiful buildings, they became more of a tourist thing. Before that, they were more of an educational institution. Would certainly be a pity to see such an old entity go belly up. But I do have to say, if you're just visiting once, it gets really expensive. I think that they have some cooperation with zoo about season tickets, then it's not that bad. Or use a "Copenhagen Card" while visiting then you save a lot in the end, public transport included. After all, despite the individual ticket price, I really think it's worth a visit. Great experience, and you know that you've given nature a tip, in the way how they pass on their knowledge to preserve marine life around DK. Great and very thoughtful video, using your exposure the right way, thanks.

I highly recommend Osaka Aquarium, if you get the chance to visit Japan. That place is amazing, especially if you already appreciate experiencing aquariums and sealife. We who live on the island Amager don't like to hear that we're living in Copenhagen - you can laugh here but that's how it is. Now I'm writing to you guys - did you ever visit an allotment ? Think this is kind of special for people living in Denmark.

Very good video. I really should try to go there, when it's less crowded, like the two of you did. I've visited a few times on family trips, but always during summer vacation time around noon... Nordsø Akvariet is specifically showing the amazing wildlife in the north sea. @@klausolekristiansen2960 True. But Jutes can't tell the difference between Sjælland and Amager. Also, Amager was built on latrine contents, garbage and beheaded people. Amager is considered to be the dumpyard of Copenhagen, hence the name "Shit Island".

On the one hand they have a national aquarium, on the other hand they slaughter thousands of dolphins each year, for fun and as "tradition" (a few days ago on the Faröer islands). You will be shocked if you watch the videos about this. People should boycot this country, do you see that the population in Denmark protests against this? No.

This year's hunt was indeed shocking, however it is inaccurate to lay the blame for it on Denmark. The Farøe Islands are an autonomous region with their own government and PM. They hold the executive power and create their own laws when it comes to rules about these hunts. Many people have been outraged by this year's hunt and it is being reviewed by the Farøese government.
