Den Helder is the Dutch Navy town. Most of our fleet and their facilities is in Den Helder. The submarine you saw is not working anymore it's the first of four who is retired. Walrus-class

Im living in schagen its really close to den helder, the reason that there are military vehicles is because the military base is in den helder, and the airfoce to, alot of f-16’s fly over schagen to den helder!💪🏻
You should go there 1 and 2 july. Then there are the marine dagen and sail. A lot of boats for you to see. You can also go on some of the ships of the marine.
Oh, I live here, I also recommend Enkhuizen. If you get there by train , you arrive right at the foot of a few hundred year old harbor, really beautiful place !
No that is dumb.. he had a bigger reach by talking in english.. he can attract people al over the world, speaking dutch only atracts dutch people.... wich means less followers less money..
I lived there for 6 years, and for me it is so normal. But it is honestly amazing seing other people being so energetic and amazed over a submarine on land. Like I used to see that every day, but now I realised it is not verry common.😅
@@jobvankampen1718woon er zelf, je hebt gelijk😂. Den helder is een dode stad man er is hier niks. Enige wat het hier leuk maakt is als je het zelf leuk maakt met vrienden zuipen. Ik ga altijd alkmaar of verder als ik iets wil doen
@@Kaytjuhhh ja woon er zelf ook in de buurt en ben er ook geboren omdat het het dichtstbijzijnde ziekenhuis was. Ik ga ook meestal naar Alkmaar als ik iets leuks wil doen, omdat er gewoon veel meer te doen is en heb ook veel vrienden die daar wonen.
It's not the edge of the Netherlands. There is an entire region of Islands above it, called the 'Wadden Eilanden'. Also there is a road, acros the 'Afsluit Dijk', that connects the province of 'Noord Holland' with the even more northen province of 'Friesland'. So yeah, by no streatch of the imagination is Den Helder the absolute edge of the Netherlands ;-)
Well it is not a city that I am going to recommend but there is a very nice village called Huisduinen, it has a beautiful beach, a lighthouse, dunes, 2 beach bars (where you can good food 😉), it has a very cute little church, a museum where you can learn everything about the 1st world war, a hotel and so much more! It would be so nice if you would take a look, for yourself of course but maybe also a little for me 😂 Because I really love your videos
I challenge you to visit some TINY places. Like... Garrelsweer, ....Schoonloo.... Odoorn. I doubt it's easy traveling, but busses DO go there ;-)) Bring your own lunch though! ;-) (and a bus timetable)

You should have come to Sail. Its an 3 day event and boats from all over the world came and there are party's. I saw you liked Kingsday so i think you would like Sail to.
I am noth harmjan but marjan hj his mom. Jack in the province of drenthe / province of groningen it's even more beautiful there. So much to see here. For example, the local traditions of some villages in Groningen and Drenthe. You definitely give these provinces a 10. You have plenty of options to spend the night.
