'15 sierra crew cab with giant daily driver rear links - we have very similar rigs. i love these things. super comfortable on and off road. can attest to the capabilities as well. hope to see you out there!
Hi there, quick question if you don't mid..do you run stock motor mounts (GM) or went with Polyurethanes? as I heard that they are best for engine response and for off-roading. Also, did you work on the steering rack because of the big tires?
I have a Gen2 Raptor with Robby Woods front kit along with other rear upgrades and am really digging your truck!!! This is a bad ass looking truck for sure and can assume is pretty capable being that you have had others. I wish you would have went over the front and rear travel numbers with their specs including strapped or not etc..!!!!
yeah, I never script anything, and always forget something lol Here's the original build and info. its 17.5" front and 20" rear dirtkingfabrication.com/pages/18-sierra-1500
Haha, I get the stereotype of pretty trucks. But this truck smashed all around KOH, multiple trips to Glamis, even made it out to swingset. Were you out there? Don’t judge a book by its cover. And the new owner uses the shit out of it too! 😜
Drip spots' growin dude. Looks like maybe leaking torsion bar fluid from your sways. Could be serious. JK Nice truck. A bit less sloppy than I require, but all in all .....its...(wayyy above my budget)/. .
For real lol. Pretty fucking stupid to be hauling ass in the desert without one. Besides the safety aspect they also help keep the frame from falling apart during all the high-speed abuse
😂 buddy a raptor couldn't even touch this truck. This is a purpose built baja truck not some over priced f150 with Upgraded control arms, fox shocks and wide fenders 🤡 I'm sure if the owner wanted to look like basic traffic he would have bought a raptor.
Do you know what’s dumber? To make a comment like that on a page that is dedicated to dezert Trucks that are majority 2 wheel drive! Most all prerunners and race trucks for Baja and the dezert are 2wd!!! 🤦🏻♂️😂
@@dezerttrucks why is that I’m new to the prerunner scene but I would assume the professional prerunners are all 4 wheel drive or am I wrong I’m from West Texas and even our off road trucks over here are 4x4 ?
@@RickyTricky3223 unless it’s a million dollar trophy truck… the average 2wd race kit for a prerunner allows for more travel, which equates to more performance. Most of the attempts to build 4wd long travel kits fail because the axles and cv’s break. Most dezert is hard packed dirt. No 4wd is needed. Those are the general reasons. There’s a few others that involve budget.
