It actually wasn't the band fault, it was the sound/speakers/sound tech. They had the sound too low on the mics. The only mic that was turned up was the cord mic on the left.
I just watched a snippet of this WONDERFUL SINGER Denetria Champ singing with a Gospel Choir at Oprah's 2006 Legend's Ball Final Day of Festivities. Keep Watching that and in tears, so many of the women who were honored have passed away, it is October 25, 2019.
Lawd the woman in the middle is the closest voice that will ever be like Aretha Franklin, and I know she probably is flattered and irritated of hearing that all the times.
I am a man of God Our Father and I love this woman. To all of you so called Christians posting negative comments let he who has no sin cast the first stone. Shame on you you’re not God and be careful of the stones that you’re trying to cast at this beautiful child of God. Stay in your lane, how many skeletons are shoved up into your closets? Thankfully she nor any of us pray to your judgmental behinds. Get a grip because she is blessed and covered by the only one that matters!!!

Gospel gave birth to all American genres of music. That woman had just lost her husband and wanted to cut loose. Does the church have karaoke night for grieving widows? Maybe it needs to expand its' services beyond Wednesday's Bible study....chile, people want to get out the house on Fri & Sat.
I thought she was a woman of God? What is she doing in a sport's bar? She has some of Aretha's phrasings down to a science.....but she's no Aretha Franklin.

Third of all, if you like Aretha Franklin so much, then you know better than her, singing it Fourth of all, she is a gospel artist 100% who just happens to sing some of her songs Fifth of all, Aretha Franklin herself is a secular artist who also sings gospel Sixth of all mind, your own business
