If my heat press machine has a maximum temperature of 200 degrees, are there any recommendations for temperature and time when pressing denim?

So...I hope you can answer this question.... I have martial arts jackets, 6-8 oz weight, cotton-poly mix. Using DTF from good company, heat at 320 for 20 seconds, 90% of the logo stays on, but the rest doesn't stick to the fabric. I have tried both hot and cold peels, and its hit or miss. I have reached out to both the manufacturer of the jacket and the DTF company, they have both given good advice, but still its not sticking. I am using a standard clam heat press.

what's the difference between the heat of flat iron and heat of heat press?

Thanks for asking. It's more about the pressure involved. It's harder to get an even pressure with household items like a flat iron, versus a professional heat press. Pressure is just as important as the factor of heat.
