Simply a magnificent player . And for me the greatest Scottish footballer of all time . It was a privilege to see Denis play . Law , Best & Charlton what more could you ask for . One of the Greatest era,s of British football of all time .
He's my uncle and as well as being an unbelievable player, he's a wonderful person...great sense of humour and so humble. After the '74 World Cup, we spent our summer holiday in Aberdeen...I was 13 and in awe of him. I asked him who was the best player he played with, fully expecting him to say, Best or Charlton. To my surprise he said Johnny Fitzpatrick, who came from Fittie, Aberdeen, who my Dad had told me about, when he was growing up.
Your a lucky person Kevin. Denis to me was everything that was great about football. When I was a kid in the early 60,s I worshipped him as a player and always will . He seems a humble man in my eyes, a lovely man . Be rest assured their will never ever be a player like Denis Law again . He fully deserves the love and respect from those who know him and seen him play. Thankyou Denis for everything you have done for the game , the fans and united.
Celtic fan, Your uncle was some man, what a player, my Idol was Jimmy Johnstone who Matt Busby wanted to sign for Utd, what an attack that would have been eh, Big Jim Baxter too, all total entertainers with the Gallusness only the Scots have, nothing comes close to these guys today.
Imam Sujarot...... FOR ME HIS GREATEST STRENGTH WAS HIS HUMANITY. DESPITE ALL OF HIS COMBATIVE CHARACTERS.........HE WAS ALWAYS A GRACIOUS HOST AND HUMAN BEING. I LOVED IT THAT WHEN ANY MANAGER/Player IS SACKED/IN TROUBLE....... HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE FIRST TO BE ON THE PHONE WITH ENCOURAGING WORDS. TOP HUMAN BEING......
What fantastic memories I have of Dennis, standing in the Stretford end, singing " I walk a million miles for one of your goals my Dennis" DENNIS LAW THE KING
More than deserving. The king now has 3 statues..one in the Stretford end..part of the holy trinity..and now one in Aberdeen. He's certainly a Scotsman..and he's a honorary Mancunian to us in Manchester 💯🇾🇪🇾🇪🇾🇪
Being a MILLWALL Supporter, I started following UTD when Paddy Crarand Joined Utd as he was my sisters boyfriend.....it was then I saw Law, Best, Charlton......Dreams of Millwall one day.....Still waiting. GOD BLESS YOU DENNIS LAW & THANK YOU. ...
Thought Kenny was a great player. The difference between the two was Denis way outstanding for his country as well. I don't think Kenny ever played as well for Scotland as he did for Liverpool.
