the loose women discuss if we should trust big corporations like the BBC now that stories have come out suggesting they stopped a documentary on Jimmy that conflicted with the christmas schedule of tribute shows
Amanda Holden said she met Savile briefly when she was 19 after she has cut her finger and was in hospital. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K-qVeFuROIw.html It's amazing that he managed to get away with what he was doing and despite his reputation during his career; Denise is right in saying he was an unpleasant guy. He was presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy's first interviewee at the start of his career and said he was cold and agressive. Actor and former Doctor Who star Colin Baker also recalled his experience of meeting him back in the 80's when he filmed a Dr Who scene which appeared on Jim'll Fix It in 1985. He says he never warmed to him and found him to be unfriendly, patronizing and behaved like the world revolved around him. His whole family friendly image of the cheery old grandad figure was nothing but a facade that he created so that he could hide his crimes in plain sight. The height of his ego was only matched by his depravity.
I used to work as a nurse in the NHS, I complained about my bullying manager and the fact her behaviour was affecting patient care. I was eventually sacked. This kind of unprofessional behaviour in government funded institutions is still going on.
Future P. The Authorities and big companies will always take the easy route. Sack one low ranking individual and hope it will all go away or `make a case` against someone higher up the tree who may well be articulate, or have friends in high places. Then, the media get hold of the story and it never gets `put to bed`. No pun intended.
I miss Loose Women when it was like this!! It was a fluffy and funny show but when they talked about serious topics like this they went for it - Loose Women is SO boring now!! And here Carol and Denise are bang on.
What is wrong with people? . I remember as a child seeing J. Saville on TV in NZ and that was enough. He gave me the creeps and I avoided seeing the programs he was on after seeing him just once. I wouldn't have gone near him for anything.
I'm with you Denise, us geordies say what we mean, and mean what we say. She was so right to be angry, I bet she had heard the rumours, and having to say "allegations" knowing the truth must have really riled her, as it would any like minded person.
Oh what a load of bullshit how come she never said anything before he died? Just another outraged celeb virtue signalling. Jumping on the bandwagon. He died in 2011. I never heard her outrage before 2011
@@dickslaughter2 To be honest I agree with you with hindsight. So many celebrities have come out since that twat died, saying they had heard things but never said anything. Why did nobody report him? I never liked him personally, but had no idea what he was doing. But why??? He wasn't above the law, he was a shit DJ, a shit TV presenter and did a few marathons for charity. Did he pay the police off? So many unanswered questions, and so many lives ruined.
@@michelle88960 he procured kids for the queen and royals. queen is above the law. BBC are controlled by queen. Like Denise said they had to wait till he died so he couldn't call others out.
@@michelle88960 Even hospital executives from Stoke Mandeville and Leeds General Infirmary paid glowing tributes to JS when he died in 2011, despite saying the following year that they have had on file for years his record of abuse... Confused??? I certainly was!!!
@@michelle88960 Also.... How come nobody thought to gatecrash and protest at his funeral in Leeds in 2011??? They knew he was dead, and there was no possible way he could threaten them to keep quiet, obviously... There was all these people saying nice things about him, and not one thought to burst in, protest and say, "NO HE WASN'T... He was a rapist and he made my life hell!!!"
Fair play to Welch, she's absolutely spot on. There are a lot of bandwagon jumpers who threw the knife in after the fact, but were around in the day he was up to no good. I've no time for them, but you can tell that Welch is sincere here and is correct in her views.
Denise was spot on!, Carol honest as always though I feel she was holding back a bit, and Jane and Andrea were kissing corporate arse so that they can keep there cushy jobs on this show!
Domdeone1 The others didn't squirm excuses. The question discussed was why did people (BBC staff and hospital staff) +ignore the accusations that apparently existed and were ignored. Denise is just a living knee-jerk reaction. Good at shrieking the questions that is on everyone's mind but she didn't offer any answers or even any theories. She didn't name anyone or even suggest the fault of a position of authority. She had done no research other than watch a program on TV. She was useless.
Steve M What is one meant to do though? It is so big in a lot of high up places, so much bigger than the public realise. For too long it has been kept quiet. Se is prob just re-enforcing what everyone suspects but this makes it more topical, improves the TV ratings. That's the media for ya!
Domdeone1 Ahh but is this what is big or is it something else? Here's a few things to expand your thoughts on the topic. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2798457/how-savile-s-niece-s-demand-compensation-led-police-fraud-probe-daughter-says-story-false-211-claims-vast-payments-police-investigate.html I believe Savile is an annoying creep and a hebephile. Hebephilia is the strong and persistent adult sexual interest in pubescent (early adolescent) individuals, typically ages 11-14. BUT I doubt if he would risk his position in life; he valued that more than anything else. In other words he controlled himself carefully. In the article cited above you can see that he kissed a girl aged 15 but when he discovered her age, he immediately lost interest. 16 is the safe age legally. The first cases against Saville were of psychiatric patients, so they had a loose screw already. Most likely the whole thing is exaggerated because that's the way human behaviour is. Look at: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-42Z_vDg81Ig.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2R21tWs-qCw.html If you are a person who has the patience to watch the above factual documentaries, you will become one of the few that understands the hysteria and politics that surrounds sex-crimes. After that you must understand the justice system. It is full of people who don't care about justice, they just care about money making. Two of the most vile, evil creatures on this planet are the Rolf Harris prosecutor Sasha Wass and the money making Liz Dux a solicitor from Slater and Gordon, who represents his 'victims' ... she couldn't care less if they are lying or not. All that matters to her is the money. There are many stories that illustrate what female prosecutors can be like. A good one for you is www.fillerfund.com/history.htm Female prosecutors can be of fine quality but some have a hatred of men and will pursue them no matter what the evidence is. Savile died - so he couldn't have a trial if he was accused, but observe what happened at the Rolf Harris trial: www.libertarianview.co.uk/current-affairs/rolf-harris-beyond-reasonable-doubt Lastly you must watch a woman falsely accusing an innocent man of "caressing her vagina" ... this is not an uncommon situation, that's what some women are prepared to do for quite petty reasons. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KgxwPU0W-Wg.html The real crime is that almost all the false allegations like this are hidden to the public. Democratic countries have police interviews that expose such lies all the time but they don't get posted on RU-vid. This one is the exception. Why these videos are hidden? - is another long story.
Steve M Phew I will look at these sites later.. Bit early. So all false flags? Im questioning everything, this is why once aware well I have ditched the tv to keep propaganda to a minimal. ~Even the radio BBC sometimes hear a political thought agenda trying to dissuade me from my own viewpoints. I feel more highly tuned since.
Daniel Maya At that point there wasn't 100% clear evidence and if there were then it was covered up by the BBC (I can't believe they were investigating themselves, what bollocks). At this point in time because of the "lack of hard evidence" they were all technically allegations. Obviously more and more stuff opened up AFTER this aired, so we can't judge Andrea or Jane too much because they didn't know everything he did. I agree 100% with Denise but Andrea or whoever is sitting in that chair is there so keep the peace and provide balance. He was a truly sick human being, glad he's gone. The only bad thing about his death is that people falsely accused other celebrities of abuse to gain media attention - those are sick human beings also.
I can remember when Rolf Harris came on the show back in 2010 and Denise being all happy and excited to see him... Can only imagine what she was thinking just four years later!
I think everyone knew there was something dodgy about Saville, but I can honestly say I was surprised about Rolf Harris, and was saddened to know he was a wrong un, but why are people surprised about Saville who hung out with Cyrill Smith, Gary Glitter and bizarrely Peter Sutcliffe.
I'd never heard of Denise Welch before; now she's my heroine. This is the kind of strength and constructive anger we need to confront these atrocities.
If you google "kitty elm guest house" you can read about the current cover up. He has a "super injunction" preventing the UK national media mentioning his name or that he has the injunction.
Denise has gone further up in my estimations of her - always liked her but - that was pure passion and she was so right. Well said girl - all behind you.
It ended up being over 600 people that made allegations about Savile and those are the people that came forward I wouldn't be surprised if many more didn't come forward
There is some kind of estate including a trust or what have you managed by, I'm sure, at least one lawyer... so that lawyer or those lawyers would be capable of suing still.
Andrea's role on this show was Moderator. She was responsible for stimulating and facilitating a balanced debate and so would play the 'devil's advocate'.
+HughieDixon He is rotting in a hell of his own creation. Having sex with Dead Children? Really?? What a sick depraved, evil, pathetic excuse for a man :(
Horse Mania I dunno who's who on the show but one of them is basically saying "we have to remember, these are accusations", the animal is dead and she still has no backbone.
I did not realise Denise had spoken up for this as I don’t do day TV . What a brilliant Lady Denise is using her voice to stand up victims ( alleged - for legal reasons ) .
They said in one report that he had keys to Broadmore. I can't understand why he was given keys to any hospital as he was a volunteer and not an employee. He shouldn't have had a room and if he needed to stay near to the hospital he should have stayed on a hotel. Clearly the hospitals didn't check his background before letting loose with patients on his own. I am amazed they allowed him to be with patients with no staff being present.
I agree with Denise .then things were..different? sexual abuse of young children has never ! been acceptable? and he was a creep...I thought so ,as a young girl of 14/16 speaking with my peers now middle age think the same !
And the children's home in Jersey, Jimmy was a regular there, I know someone trying to get facts and figures about what happened there, it's impossible, too many powerful people and organisations stopping the investigation.
This country has an endemic child abuse ring and it goes right to the very heart of power in our society, all the abuse uncovered in the Church, in childrens homes, in schools, don't for one second think those were all unhappy coincidences.
Saville also raised money for the NSPCC - who ChildLine are now a part of - and yet the NSPCC have the gall to ask everyone to help protect kids from abuse when they themselves have failed millions of children over the years.
Savile had George Carman to defend him. Also, perhaps Esther Rancid remembered her part in the Shieldfield Nursery affair, when she joined in the hounding of two innocent young people who had been acquitted because the judge found no evidence to put before a jury. She was afraid of making herself look an even bigger berk.
Well she’s a Jew and the Talmud says that reaping and murdering Non Jewish children under the age of 3 is a noble act!! I’m not anti Jewish but at the end of the day if Your brought up to believe that then it’s no wonder she said nothing
spikeyroberto Maybe not to say any names of suspects that are still alive . the woman on the left end is bang out of order, if it was just here say , why has his own family took his headd stone off his grave? but his pal's are sticking up for him, that say's alot to me.
+jackmalonezone "He knew where the bodies were buried." She hit the nail on the head there. Do your research and you'll see this isn't confined to old TV presenters and didgeridoo players: it goes all the way to the top. Those in her earpiece were telling her to shut her fucking mouth.
the chidren knew the nurses knew ALOT of the public had there suspicions BUT esther ranzon the celebated morelist weeell butter wouldent melt ...... would it?
Saville was a very powerful person with 'dirt' on his powerful contacts/friends. He was protected because they knew he could spill the beans at any time... and he didn't give a shit about the consequences. He was very smart and able to play this to his advantage, getting away with his crimes but always loyal to those that protected him... as long as they played game.
Disgusting the fact that all this has come out now that Jimmy Savile has died. The minute there were concerns raised god knows how many people came out saying they had been abused. People need to learn from the earliest age possible to report any abuse so it can be stopped ASAP!
@Kate Brown where did I say Nurses should have whistleblown? I didn't. I said Carol was right that organisations shouldn't investigate themselves and its true cover ups go on Hillsborough for example.
I don't think people really give a flying fuck about Jimmy Saville or the BBC's cover up of his filthy deeds. The BBC is still in business and the public still watch and listen to it. If people were that bothered they wouldn't gladly support the organization with the licence fee money like they do. If you're not prepared to take action by withdrawing your financial support for the BBC, shut up and sit down and keep your opinions to yourself.
It's a Yorkshire TV documentary. I watched it years ago and started reading all the newspaper articles about it at that time, it was the first time I'd heard Bohemian Grove mentioned. Have you ever heard of Kincora? The main book about it was banned in the UK for years.
Well, Saville's estate must be worth a bit of money. Every bent coin of that should go to the victims. In addition to this the hospitals and BBC should also pay dearly for their complete cover up and I hope prosections are made on 'turn the blind eye brigade' Well said, Denise!
This is exactly why I refuse to purchase a television. I am not prepared to pay an extortion fee to the BBC - which is what the license is. The corruption within that organization beggars belief. So, if everyone refused to pay the license fee, then they would really be in trouble.
I suppose the nurses could have been saying "pretend your asleep" to the kids to stop Jimmy annoying them in a non-sexual manner? I think he would have annoyed me just from his personality and face
Where did the charity money go, did it help eliminate poverty in soceity or cure diseases? We see the charity money added to someone's bank accounts to live a luxurious life.
And we are expected to pay a license to watch the BBC !! And they as a corperate company condone the likes of Saville and good for you Denise x all those poor innocents x
Abuse takes place where power is an issue. Usually by people who have little power, this is why it takes place in all walks of society, ie at the top where having lots of power is important, and also at the bottom, where lack of power is the issue.
Actually in the upper very echelons of British (and American it appears) society it was in the 1970's considered an entertaining pastime and is a tradition still practiced to this day(probably)
6:06 to 6:09 So Basically jane mcdonald is saying it's fine that jimmy saville was nobbing little kids just because he raised a load of money for charity
Great question. It is slowly becoming obvious why Savile made it onto the Prime Time BBC slots and it certainly was not his personality. Friends in very high places, very high indeed.
People DID speak out while he was alive, and the complaints were buried by authorities and others including some administrators of a boarding school. everyone shut the victims up and looked the other way because (a) culture was different then - women and children were treated as irrelevant (b) people and organizations were making big money. People spoke out - but the victims had no voice against the power construct as it was.
Oh we are being very careful, nice one Denise. This was not reported because the high up doctors told the nurses to shut up and mind their own business.
Even the nurses were covering up for him? What possible reason could they have had? I know plenty of nurses, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that they'd willingly put their lives on the line before they acquiesced to something like that.
Listen at 6.57-6.58 you can actually here the producers shouting at denise to shut her mouth ..iv never in my life heard a voice from a presenters ear piece Very dark and disturbing ........put. some earphones in if you cant hear it and listen
I could hear a brief sound. The producers are absolute, insert any word you want to, covering their own arses, all because everyone is worried about lawsuits, or dare I say worse. 😲 Denise wasn’t even allowed to say that she was told off by the powers that be above, even though she tried. It’s all very well Andrea asking Denise what she was saying before, but she was unable to. I think the panel and the audience picked up on the reason extremely quickly, by the audience chuckling at the frustration, maybe ironically, and not sincerely sue to the severity of this case, or maybe the audience chuckled just because Denise was frustrated in general and they were slow on the uptake. 😃
He was closely linked to prime ministers, royalty, big corporations etc as david ike quotes "a procurer" .. At that level you put up and shut up or end up as a conflict of interest..
I’m also glad she got in the bit about Jimmy Savile having gangland connections and about him being a sleazy man in a tracksuit absolutely devastated he never got his comeuppance in life but I’m sure the devil is dealing with him now in hell
