I am 66 now in 2023. I get sick and tired of TV types saying how big a star he was. All I remember of him was that he was a one-time disk jockey on tv, and then, later on, appeared on Jim will fix it. Yes, a popular show all those years ago, and apart from the fundraising nothing I can remember. He was strange from the start, and never funny, where's all this fame I grew up never giving him a thought.
The suggestion that his fundraising balanced out his deviant, sadistic, sexual crimes is despicable! NOTHING is lower or more EVIL than abusing healthy children, let alone disabled children!!!
There was a climate of fear... People were afraid of retribution in the form of dismissal. What's more, nobody knew how much control he had - could he then have ensured that they had enormous difficulty securing another job? That's what a person can do when they're given too much power.

Judging by the research I have done into Savile since he was tied in some circles to the murder of Jill Dando in 2013/14 or so, judging by the type & scale of Saviles abuse I would say he was highly capable of extreme violence & murder. This is based on decades of reading into murderers. He was also a big man, not something that can easily be ascertained simply from a TV apearance. I lived in an affluent area of SW London & have passed many different celebrities in the street & even spoken to some of them. I am often struck by either that they are much smaller or much taller than they appeared on telly. Same with Savile. He was a big, strong guy. A guy capable ot racing bicycles & winning, of wrestling & winning, a person capable of working down a mine shaft. I can easily imagine him being a very frightening & physically intimidating individual when riled & angry. When I first saw Savile on Totp back in the 80's it was at a time when my dad was horrified by Boy George. It was Savile's extraordinary appearance & his way in front of the camera that horrified me. I couldn't put my finger on it at the time but he creeped the hell out of me as a teenager. My dad was like, "oh, that's just Jimmy Savile".
Little known fact, he was a suspect in the Yorkshire ripper case, police were looking at him as a top suspect and was a friend of the aforementioned serial killer in Broadmoor mental asylum, whence Saville had willfully gained full control of the place and indeed continued his heinous sexual crimes, on many of the patients imprisoned there

Her tale a few months ago claiming she was on an IRA hit list is pathetic, everyone in Ireland laughed at that. She'd say anything to sell her book.
