I have a criticism of this video Chris, hope your okay with that! This video, makes me want Denison Barbs again but we have no more room :(!! Great work guys, as you say they are prone to stress, brought them from the shop one time and one died before we got to the car, another time went across the country to get 3 adults, one died before we got to drive away! Once in the aquarium they are great but travel poorly, again as you said!! Well done again guys!

Finally you got them ! They get to that 4 inch mark fairly quick but you gotta be patient as they sloooowly creep up to that 5 or 6 inch mark. One of the best fish in this hobby. They’re very hard to keep alive when they’re really small, and I always anticipate losing one or two of them when I buy groups of little ones under 2.5 inches. It is indeed very difficult to move them from one house to another and I won’t do it without using a bucket or a bin with a portable air pump and air stones. If they’re 5+ inches or if there’s more than 5 of them, I definitely go for the big plastic Walmart bins so they have room to move around a bit during the journey. Bags are a no-go. Simply scooping them out of one tank and putting them in another tank in the same house is usually trouble-free. I’m still very surprised that I didn’t lose a single one when I stuck mine in big plastic bins for 5 hours while I tore down their old tank and set up their new one, and when I picked up several large ones from other people’s homes. It did take them a few days to fully adjust to my tank though. Normally, at least one or two would die even with all the portable air pumps/stones and all that
