My deceased sister's favorite reggae artist, and when I want truth and rights I'm going to him, Burning Spear, Culture, Mighty Diamond's, Steel Pulse and Gladiators. RIP my missed sister.🙏🏾♥️
My baby brother was born on the day he passed. That's why I told him whenever he thinks life is too tough, let him remember the man whom Marley crowned Prince of reggae made an exit for him to make an entry.
That's honestly a beautiful and strong thought, dennis brown was such a great artist, who had a very poetic and clever way with his wording and phrases, on top of this made just shat music out like no other. I think he made around 200 hits if not albums if I'm not mistaken
@@skunknightjahsound5484Nope., Gregory came on strongly in the late 70s to early 80s but fell short. Deb has too many hits and favourite,It was proven after a debate between Debs fans & Gregory's, a Sound man decided to put the argument test and their music filled the air for about 6hours, Gregory's top music fade away after about 2 hours but DEB'S played..played.....
Normally at work I start my day with Smile Jamaica. But today a co worker told another "take it easy" and this song got into my head. Had to give it a listen...
Absolutely. Easily top 10 including all genres. Once met D Train of 1980s R&B and he was quite complemented when I told him voice was good like Dennis Brown. I think all great singers know how great a voice DEB had.
Dennis brown Dennis brown Dennis brown Dennis brown Dennis brown the world number one reggae artist Dennis brown see you in Zion lion gift to the world music God bless Zion
@Its Just Politics I had to go listen George to see, and there's certain songs where he does sound similar BUT still Faar from Dennis still. There's a feeling you get when listening to Dennis that can't be duplicated and no one comes close...not even George.
GRACIAS VARON POR ESTA VERDADERA RELIQUIA, TENGO 27 AÑOS Y VENGO ESCUCHANDO REGGAE RETRO DESDE QUE TENIA 11 Y DAJAME DECIRTE QUE ESTA AUN NO LA HABIA ESCUCHADO. DIOS BENDIGA A LOS JAMAICANOS POR QUE GRACIAS A ELLOS EXISTE EL REGGAE. SALUDOS Y GRACIAS NUEVAMENTE DESDE EL COPE DE PENONOME, PANAMA
Grinding don't mean fast, just means non stop through good, bad, ugly. Meaning of work smarter not harder. Don't abandon what you can do right now just preoccupy something that means something to you. "Time and chance happen to everyone." Just wait for your time and just, you got it. We all have things that are attainable right then and some later but the process will help you appreciate it more. Bug ups to you for doing more than just that. Don't forget to enjoy yourself along the way(Ecclesiastes9v7-8) or the journey will be a burden. Many times you see people only say FINALLY, but I want to encourage and salute you to just keep enjoying yourself through it all so you won't waste the journey, process, and the build up with a burden. All glory and praises to the MOST HIGH by the grace of Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Some songs only need one listen to know it is a big one I only hearing this and 'Gregory Isaacs - Babylon Too Rough' for the first time today but they're heavy
