The most beautiful voice , I have been a fan since I was 14 in 1979 , i cried when Dennis died and sometimes cry hearing certain tunes . Dennis was taken much too soon . I will love Him until my dying day and will never stop listening to his music . Rest forever in Peace Dennis , you are loved and missed ❤
Dennis just opens his mouth and SWEET golden soft mellow voice starts to flow...without any difficulties, so easy.. Dennis Emmanuel was simply THE KING. I still love him. He would be just 57 this year...it's hard so to take. There will never be another singer like Dennis, not even close. How sweet it would have been to hear him singing "The autumn leaves"! Yes... my greatest idol...the real KING. Was there anything bad or evil in him? Not even a thought. He was a good, kind, nice man. Maybe too good to live this life...RIP Dennis.
This is so beautiful. Beautiful beyond words really. Dennis Brown is not only a master of his craft who sings so stunningly on the spot, but polishes every piece like uncut one of a kind diamonds. His gentle love and razor sharp consciousness is so lacking in this world, and is quite frankly missed. The interviewer is so quietly star struck and thrilled to bits that he keeps asking Dennis to sing more and more. And almost without any hesitation, The Crowned Prince gives us these precious gems...live and direct.... I Love You Dennis. Because Your Love's Got A Hold On Me. & We cherish your love.
Who else can improvise on a moments notice with the sweetest voice and laugh afterwards and just say “ yeah” , humble man. but I think he was brilliant and one of a kind. I love him.
A child prodigy, humble and real, authentic and incredibly talented. I'm a Number One Fan listening to him from a youth, and because of Dennis, I got a job as a Flight Attendant solely to be able to get to all his concerts around the world cheaply, so many memories. Girls' night out, when I got the news, one-piece ah bawling, couldn't feel like going out again, my girlfriends still talk about it to this day and I feel no way. I flew in for his Funeral on 17 July 1999 and the National Arena was amazing, thousands of people danced in the streets and go to his graveside every year down at the National Heroes Park down Kingston to hold ah vibes except for 2021. I have over 50 albums and bonus tracks. I met him in London at a Club and he recognised me from being at the front of the stage acting crazily excited lol at concerts. BIG Love to his beautiful Queen Yvonne and all the family, always supporting and I've never missed the Tribute Concerts every year down at Kingston Waterfront except again due to lockdown, praying 2023 will go ahead. His music lives on and on. Gone way too soon. DENNIS EMMANUEL BROWN OUR CROWN PRINCE OF REGGAE MUSIC (Named by Robert Nesta Marley) both from the Twelve Tribe of Joseph Born 01 February 1957 - Died 01 July 1999 (42 years old)

People here already said all there's to say of Dennis Emmanuel. What more could I say? Just that he was my favorite singer, the King, not the Prince and.. I love him. I'll always miss him, he's gone but NEVER forgotten. Dennis Emmanuel..
Beautiful off-the-cuff version Nat King Cole's version of "Autumn Leaves." Nice vibrato. Even without a backing band his voice fills the air with good vibes and energy when he sings excerpts of "Wolves & Leopards" and "Money in My Pocket." Truly blessed!
no wordz can describe how much i miss dennis...but still his music lives on and the inspiration he has passed on to soo many people is amazin... thank u so much dennis jah bless u king
True ting... Nobody sings acapella that flawlessly anymore. Most of today's singers strain and yell and shit themselves singing a verse. Dennis just had it like that. One of the Best for sure.
Had a chance to meet Mr Brown after a show at Crossroads nightclub in. Maryland. Was too intimidated to approach him. My loss and regret. Best singer of all time IMO. Love Has Found It's Way was what my wife and I danced to at our wedding reception. If anything Dennis made too many great songs. I don't feel that he ever received the credit that was due him. I would get so angry when artists like him would be overlooked; seemed like everyone were just so conditioned to associate reggae with Bob Marley. They missed out.
7:40 What do you think of Africa? Africa, Africa Ha ha ha, Africa Just, just the mention of it Just the mention of it, man It’s like you call me name, man Well you know Africa is motherland And Africa is were we rightfully belong And that’s were I want to be
Rnb influenced reggae music! Most of our Jamaican singers learned from rnb. I love my people, they have accomplished so much with so little, that’s greatness 👊🏿 black peoples all over the world!
