Dennis Quad made the part his! He was amazing! But I would love to see a more in depth film about Jerry lee Lewis it would have been amazing if they would have done it right after the movie walk the line with the guy who played Jerry lee in that film and follow the walk the line route and went all the way with it telling his whole backstory. That guy even had the accent.

I gained respect for Dennis Quaid after seeing that movie. I always thought he only played cowboys. Who knew he had a range? Great job!

Anyone who is really into Jerry Lee would agree that the guy Quaid played was NOT the Killer. Lil' Abner maybe.... The scenes where he performs are overacted to the point of buffoonery. I WILL admit that he DID nail Jerry on two scenes however: the scene where he is offered the apology letter and gets up off the piano and has a (well deserved) temper tantrum, and the other was when he walks out of the church, declaring "If I'm goin' to hell I'm goin' playin' the piana!" Wynona was, however, impeccable.

He will only be in heaven if he repented of sin and returned to the Lord Jesus. He knew the gospel truth yet chose to go into a life all about himself. His gift was God given and was supposed to be used to glorify Him, not himself.
