To be honest, I like the fact that both Larson and Hamlin are racing as "aggressively" with each other as they are. Both are passionate drivers trying to prove that they are the best at what they do.
@@jaffleyfifteen5912yep for sure. Denny's is usually at the end of a race as well where Kyle does a love tap in stage 2. To get this to stop, you've got to hit Denny the same way, end of race dirty moves.
You really can't hold people accountable when they are in the middle of the battle. We are all naturally selfish and hypocritical. And nobody complains more than people who drive for a living
@@JGR4LIFE20I mean he does kinda act a but immature after he ends up with a much better finish than expected. I appreciate the passion and emotion but listen to what he was saying lol
Kyle raced Hamlin, like Hamlin races Kyle .. But Hamlin thinks Kyle started the rivalry.. 🤣 The difference is Larson will explain what he was trying to do and Hamlin always tries to point the finger in someone else's direction.. Hamlin has usd up Larson multiple times this year.. and he's wondering why Larson is racing him aggressively at the end of a race.. 🙄
Giving Larson less room to work with is not the same thing as literally running into other cars (not saying Hamlin hasn't done that btw ik it has happened) but for this weekend, Larson did it mid race, then went way too hard after a restart and took out another driver. We knew it was basically impossible to get around cars here so Larson restarting behind Hamlin, he wasn't racing for the win at that point he was just trying to hit Hamlin and missed overdriving it. Then immediately at the restart he caused another caution ruining even more drivers days. Both drivers are competitive with each other no doubt. But this weekend was all Larson's actions. Maybe next weekend will be Hamlin causing some chaos, who knows!
Larson hit the apron and shot him up into watermelon boy. Wasn't doing what Mr perfect Hamlin thinks. Like I told him watch replays before you run off the mouth
@@Processinwell let's just say that there's going be some bad blood like that Taylor Swift song between Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson at some point if they keep this going.
You nailed it. Look at end of race stats. Denny as cost Kyle far more when it counts than the other way. That was Kyles spotters anger the week prior, and he was 100% right.
Retired Quality Engineer here, Denny is right, every fuel cell holds a different amount of fuel - the difference might be small enough that you don't care about it (like 0.00001 ounces) and you need a good enough measurement system to see those differences. An example, sometimes a set of tires do not handle the same as the previous set, although they all meet the spec.
The difference between the 5 and the 11. The 5 typically admits when he makes a mistake. The 11 refuses to acknowledge his own accountability and blames everyone else for the incident. It’s not a result of a competitive mind but a flawed one. Likely a contributing factor to his lack of championships. Now utilizing his platform to campaign and spreading the narrative that the 5 is a “dirty driver”. Forgetting that we all watched this develop and witnessed Denny initiate this “rivalry” especially last season which was certainly birthed from talent envy. Bush had an incident with the 5 but when you watch an interview the week prior KB literally state that the 5 never raced him with overreach. Also stating the 5 was trying to “dump” him in that restart is incredibly pretentious with a delusional interpretation of facts. He was certainly loading up on the 11 throughout entry / center when he fought the apron and lost the rest of the nose but never twisted the 11. Denny would have been sideways while the 5 washed up if that was the end intent. Denny has become to soft as a driver but only when being raced by others. He also lacks all humility. Dennys success in life stems from privilege and opportunity nothing like the trail of the 5 which was built solely on talent. Imagine if the beginning of Dennys career would have been with a team like chip ganassi rather then the elite team he landed. He’s entire prestige was established from the team advantage during a time when it was so important for dominance. Denny has been tainted with privilege that’s amplified he’s talent on his behalf. However, he’s talent isn’t universal and not nearly as versatile and proven as his rival. The 5’s dominate performance during his championship year tells us what would have happened if Larson would have been in HMS or JGR level of equipment during the old generation era. He’s probably have 5 plus championships while Denny still searched for his. This is due to a delta on raw talent. Denny has a difficult time accepting that the 5 is simply more talented. It eats at him and effects his ability to race him appropriately. Denny just can’t due what we’ve witnessed Larson do across so many disciplines of Motorsports. He’s in fact scared to try and is why he will never start into a real race car. Denny is the rich kid in school whom fails to understand the privilege of his life and the circumstances that lead to his extremely pompous lifestyle. Denny loves to cry about the races he would have or should have won if things went differently, yet he would have lost wins if the sand was said by other drivers. He’s states would be buried by the “what if’s” of countless other drivers whom also should have won races. Every racer in the industry and world has a list of these races.
How in the world is this guy going to blame Larson for Larson racing him hard? Denny has been on the good end of bad situations he’s put Kyle in more times than Kyle’s wronged Denny. Denny drives everyone the same.
Jared honestly carries this show. Glad he tells both sides how it is. Also think Iowa mixed with the New Hampshire (dooring him 3 times in 1 lap and running him out of his lane) definitely piled up and Larson tried firing a warning shot. Just didn’t work out lol
He's a perfect co-host for what this podcast is. He asks great questions, and the best part is that he knows when to not speak and let Denny (and any guests) say his piece. I'm glad fans give him love at the race track, because he deserves it
Great race!!! Denny should have won also NBC sucks ass showing the front runners...they are to busy showing battles in the back that no one cares about
@@Just_a_beaverIn the era of stage racing, nobody is innocent. They all think they are Ryan Newman, when the truth is none of them are. It was effective for him. It's not effective for everyone else
Yeah, you’re on here saying the same thing as they are about Larson if it’s the 11 or 45 that hit the apron and then took a guy out. Larson and Hamlin do the same garbage all the time. He messed up trying to get Hamlin back instead of using his head, he let Hamlins stupid head games make him make a mistake. BTW Larson always runs Reddick and Elliott dirty.
Im sick of aero racing! A faster car should be able to pass! By the way, Denny Hamlin would like to thank all the haters for watching his video, commenting and even thumbing it down. Interactions are interactions!
Idk man. Larson is into it with someone every week it seems. Hamilin or not. They both race aggressive and are willing to wreck for the win. Or wreck somebody
I did not see anything from Larson that would have justified Hamlin’s freak-out at the end of stage two. The incident on the restart that took out Chastain is a different matter, but, if we’re keeping a tally, I get why Larson needed to push Hamlin around a bit.
I understand why he drove like that, but Larson was just a loose cannon every restart. He PURPOSELY overdrove and just ran as hard as he could to get into Hamlin and it never worked.
@@matthewjohnston1400 and I didnt see anything wrong with it. Racing for the win. That’s racing now in this nextgen. Just cant stand the crying only when Hamlin does it
Quit trying to sell it, Denny. You are going to be raced the same as you race others. Are you forgetting what you did to Brad at Charlotte in the kiddie's series under caution back in the day?
The 11 has cost the 5 at least 3 maybe more W's by "racing for the win, which is whatever it takes.". Little to no drivers code. Larson may run people hard, he does not wreck people to win. He has run second instead of "whatever it takes to win." The 11 has forced Larson to give him the business to save face with his team. 11 can dish it, but can't take it. Denny has shown anytime it's racing for the win, kyle should do whatever it takes to try and win; if not make sure Denny does not win. Owes the 11 @ least 2 or 3 more. Denny wants to escalate it, because he's here for the long haul: outstanding big boy. See the 5 has a ring and you don't. You two figure it out, and race each other with a little more respect you will both have an opportunity for him to get his second or you your first. Keep this pissing match up, you guys going to tear up a lot of stuff. He'll still have one, and you will be in the running with Mark Martin for the best to never win one. Difference he had a driver's code.
NASCAR always takes too much time with caution flags it's designed to totally rip off the fans and it doesn't matter which racing series we talked about I watched a Whelen modified race up in New Hampshire a couple decades ago and one car spun on the back stretch it was 100 lap race and just for a spin they took eight laps of caution ridiculous totally designed to rip the fans off 😢😮
Sorry Denny you lost due to overrated overtime locking Logano into the phony playoffs. I'd prefer no OT end the race scheduled distance under yellow than add that nonsense to the race. The ending was embarrassing not entertaining.
Larson will cash the checks when the championship is on the line. I don't see Denny winning the championship if Larson is nearby. Don't write checks you can't cash.
As men we all know we had friends we grew up with etc and we were friends but yet the fiercest competitors and rivals on whatever we were doing but yet the best of friends whenever whatever we competed in was done and over its natural we're men lol
I was so happy when denny had to go in the pits this week last week so great 👍 denny an Chastain deserved all that happened yesterday they have screwed plenty of people out of wins especially larson
Love seeing Mr. Reddick on the show! It was great to see two views of how the race was through their thought process and prospective. I’m a huge Reddick fan ! Keep the momentum Toyota 😊
Denny is in such denial. He is acting like the one time Larson bumps him back for the countless times. Dish it but can't take it. Remember when Bowman gave Denny a taste of his medicine for a win and Denny lost his damn mind like a child during the victory lap.
I don't think I've ever seen a driver have more potential wins taken away than Truex. It seems like ever since he had that big year, 80% of the time when he's in position late in the race to win, something happens.
Kyle got into the 11 1 time. At the end of stage 2. That's it. What 3 times is denny talking about? Louden you turned down on kyle he didn't run you up. You put him in the wall time and time again. You also were a lap down and drive into the back of him in a corner and throw him out of the way. You start everything and no one can get even with you ever. I watch Kyle's in car cam every week and he doesn't race anyone the way you race him. Also you can't just stop infront of someone under caution. 21 should have been penalized for not keep pace! Not the 77
Love how Denny forgets how he completely took out Larson for the win last year at Pocono and Kansas. But Larson runs him up the track and Hamlin loses his mind. I have no problem with them banging on each other but Hamlin flipping out after the countless things he has done to Larson is ridiculous. We all know how Hamlin would have acted at Pocono or Kansas if roles were reversed...
Denny, you've wrecked Larson like 4 or 5 times over the years and he hasn't wrecked you once. That's not even including running him up the track a little at New Hampshire when he gave you like 2 full lanes to work with. So, how do you rationalize that when he races you harder once or twice that now you have to respond? That doesn't even make sense. And he wanted to move you up the track, not wreck you. It's not hard to wreck someone, so if he wanted to do it, you'd have been in the wall already.
Kyle Larson has like 15 IOU's or justified payback. When Kyle uses them I don't want to hear Denny Hamiln bitching and moaning about it. The Playoffs will start and this is when you give it back.
Kyle larson still owes Hamlin alot of shit. Hamlin has did larson shitty alot of times. Hamlin has wrecked and almost wrecked larson several times. Denny will never win a championship.
Denny races Kyle that way because Denny can't beat Kyle straight up. Denny is not at the the talent level Kyle is. Denny is jealous of Kyle. Denny dont even have a championship.
Kyle Busch getting his place back was the biggest pile of BS I’ve seen in a while. But on the bright side, the universe corrected the mistake on the following restart 🤣🤣🤣
@@matthewjohnston1400 Larson will wreck others and himself to win. He has through every ladder of nascar. Whether it’s on purpose or not, I like the look of Hamlin bullying Larson. It’s justified that the 5 car gets raced how he’s raced so many through the years.
@@jackkeithley4934 well I like the idea of a rivalry between the two. Larson is the better driver. If he decides to play rough with the least popular driver in NASCAR, Larson will come out the winner.
Kyle Busch getting his place back was the biggest pile of BS I’ve seen in a while. But on the bright side, the universe corrected the mistake on the following restart 🤣🤣🤣
Denny actually thought he could just big-brother Larson forever. You could tell when Larson got upset with his spotter that it was because it touched a nerve. Denny treats Kyle with less respect than anyone on the track. You’d never see Denny race Logano or Brad like that because he knows it’s coming back. Denny had gotten ran into by Elliott, Bowman, Byron, and even pissed Truex off. Now he gives them respect but only because he’s a bully who doesn’t really want any smoke. But Larson, he’s been taking advantage of that friendship for years, even since the Gnassi days.
11 is smarter about timing than 5 . Things will be chill for weeks or months, no issue between them and then out of the blue, near the end of a race, 11 will use up 5 such as New Hampshire I believe it was. 11 has done this multiple times in the past towards the end of races. 5 will get fed up as he should, and will do it at the end of stage 1 the next week or something ignorant such as Nashville but it doesnt makeup for what the 11 did because of timing. 5 needs to be smarter about when to return the gesure, hold it in his pocket until it can be returned the same way it was served, the end of a race. Trust me, 11 would be pissed to receive the same end of race treatment. A dose of 11s own medicine needs to happen. 5 spotter was right on and that is how you do it. Either we race clean all the time, if youre going to do this to me and then trust me, youll get it back the same way and as the season goes on, the fear of never winning a championship will eventually cause 11 to quit that crap.
Denny Hamlin will face a ton of pressure when the playoffs begin. All that stress while having to have your head on a swivel looking out for payback from a list of guys who legitimately owe him one or more. No way Denny wins the championship this year.
Love love love Tyler Reddick. Amazing guy. Should be on here more. Would actually be neat to rotate Tyler and Bubba as guests - maybe every other month. #a11in
I remember when Denny Hamlin said Chase Elliott through a tantrum when Chase wrecked him. Denny seems too forget he is just as childish. Blocking Alex Bowman's burnout, slowly mirror driving and blocking Ross Chastain as well as driving up into the wall, driving Kyle Larson into the wall,....
I don't like GWC anymore. Haven't really since I was a teenager. But if they're gonna have it I think it's fine as is. And I don't think it's NASCAR's responsibility to worry about how much fuel the cars have.
I'd be sad that the daily network NASCAR shows are going away if podcasts like this weren't providing more information to the viewer. Kudos to the folks working/appearing on this show for providing genuine content worth consuming. DirtyMo gets it done.
Chicago street race TV coverage made me dizzy & frustrated with all the stop & gos. Had to stop and watch the entire 2023 Bristol race that Denny won. Much more enjoyable!!
Kyle Larson is going to run you harder than anybody else on that track. He wants to be you of course he wants to beat everybody else as well but he wants to be you specifically every race and it is awesome for NASCAR. We need more of this. we need more of the Dale Earnhardt Versus Terry Lonnie versus Darrell Waltrip versus Rusty Wallace, you know we need more of that in NASCAR. We need more of things like that in all the sports rivalries are great for sports not fake made up ones but real rivalries danny embrace it have fun with it. I’m a huge fan of yours and I’m a huge fan of Larson‘s as well, I love watching you go as long as it’s not as long as it’s not cheap and dangerous
I still remember Kyle Busch right hooking Kevin Harvick, maybe 2011 Darlington right after a yellow came out, cars were still at speed just beginning to slow and it was a right hook into traffic, into the wall and after all was said and done Harvick was penalized for getting oit of his car on pit road in front of Kyle's even though Kyle then just gassed up and pushed a driverless car loose on to pit road.
Second comment danny you hit on it earlier yellow flag caution lapse oh my God, ridiculous five caution lapse for a one car spin that didn’t hit anything spun in the grass off the track got it straight drove back on the track. Didn’t impede any other car in any other way That is insane. They take way too long to go back to green flag all the time it’s short the race same thing with stage ending yellow flags Jesus Christ 56 laps. It should be a I guess you could call it a noncompetitive pitstop in a way pit or you don’t pit, and if you pet you come out the same order behind the cars that didn’t pay something like that do not count stage lapse under caution. It shortens the race way too much.
