When listening to music one should always use the sound mode the music was recorded in. Considering 99% of music is mastered in stereo, 2 ch stereo would be the preferred option. And of course to bypass some of the processing Direct stereo would be even better. Yeah good track selection ABBA always brings a smile to my face. An avid music listener.

Yeah it told me my father, better listen music stereo, but anyway i like too some albums, songs made 5.1 like :)

I think your set up is decent for the small living room. It’s not the size of the room but the picture quality and the big sound and a good source. 50% sound,50% clear picture = best room cinema.

Hi i think in a future will be fine 65" tv and sound maybe is some crazy for this small room but i hear it awesome, still will be better in a large room, lounge

The Denon AVC-X3800H only outputs 8-bit with Dolby Vision, why isn't the original 12-bit looped through? I thought there was Dolby Vision HDR support?

Hello everyone, how do I take movies with Dolby Atmos with more than 7 channels? Most blue-ray is 5.1 or 7.1, the same with what you can watch digital. I have a denon x3800 and I can't find content with more than 7 channels? thank you.

Dolby Atmos is object based, not channel based. Anything with the Atmos logo on it will use all channels of speakers u hook up to the 3800h. Use an external 2 channel amp to even power up to 7.4.4 if u want.😎💯
