I don’t always purchase new DJ gear, but when I do… I love to talk about it! This is a standalone DJ unit that may be best fit for DJ’s who have some experience. I’ve been using the PRIME GO for several months now and wanted to share my thoughts on it. Overall, I do not regret the $999 spend on this device. I love it… but not all of it! There are a few things that I wish were different (and no, it’s not the horizontal EQ knob placement).
In this video I talk about what I enjoy about this awesome piece of DJ gear, but I also mention things that I wish were different or could be updated.

*UPDATE*
~ I found the settings to update the jogwheel sensitivity. I put it on LOW and it seems much more user friendly now.
~ The 1.5.2 Firmware Update now includes recording the microphone signal (yay! - although I will probably record speeches at weddings using another way.)
Whenever I purchase gear for my music business, I find it best to determine if it’s a need or a want. These three questions help me determine if it’s a need. I tend to only purchase items when I can answer “YES” to all three questions:
- Will this help me grow my business as a professional DJ?
- Can this product help me master my craft?
- Is it worth the money as a business asset?
What are your thoughts on this awesome device. Do you agree or disagree? Please let me know in the comments below. I am going to create more videos like this. Thank you for subscribing, liking, and commenting! Much respect and love :)
