I have a denon avr-x3100w receiver, I am not a technician, just a man curious about electronics, guide me with your video and I disassembled it with a multimeter, everything you did, I checked cold welds, I measured the power supply with a multimeter, everything like you did it in your video but now I need your help I managed to turn on the receiver now it doesn't turn off but I have a problem that I don't have HDMI or audio I was able to realize that I only have audio in FM and zone 2 when I connect via RCA from my smartphone but in the zone main I do not have audio or hdmi gui I do not have a denon interface I do not know how to interpret the schematics because on the internet there is a service manual for the receiver in your experience I must change pc9211 panasonic mn864771 it is as if the entire hdmi pcb card was disabled there are too many stages I could receive some advice from you if I could, the Denon receiver sent it to you but I'm from Mexico.
It is worth mentioning that there are special modes (buttons) that the receiver itself gives you information. It seems that the main microprocessor displays all the information of number and version gui s/n model package number of main the receiver displays the information in the same receiver it is like if a part of the entire digital card was dead

hi Angel Ramiro Mar Flores, thanks for mentioning your valuable cmt. do not attempt to change mn864771 ic without knowing the fault. but you can change the pcm9211 ic but before that their is a way to check the pcm ic and MN864771 ic. 1. connect optical input and check whether it is detecting the input audio signal format. if its detecting the signal then PCM9211 ic is good condition and do not change it. 2.to check mn864771 ic .first connect hdmi input and output then check ic clock signal and (clk,scl,sda,...)and check its digital output pin and also check reset pin and en pin from ucom ic. then check dir ic comunication status. everythink seems good as per manual then ok or else first replace mn864771 ic and then update the firmware then check . i hope its fixed . or else just proceed to check with technician or replace the hdmi board.
i don't think its worth because special button is only for service personal . for service purpose . in case normal user don't know it properly then it may cause some firmware damage and disabling the board features.
Excellent video ! I have a Denon x2600H , which had a fall . So now its turning on and I can hear 2 relay clicks 4 seconds apart and video and all functions work as expected. Except there is no sound at all. No test sound , no heaphone sound , no speaker sound from any input or network music. Because of the fall I am guessing it might be cold solder joints , but wanted to hear your oppinion. Might it be defective audio chip or the DAC section ?

standby is the common symptoms for avr .we have to spot out the faulty components and fault may have anywhere in the avr and need to checking it properly to solve this issue, please try to identify the fault by stage by stage.

I am new to avr, I do have jbl amp with micca speaker for for 2.1 setup. I want to go next level. My budget is pritty low. Max 30k for receiver. In amazon I can seen htr-3072 and yht-1840. I am not happy with the speaker and woofer package that comes along with that, it's plastic and tiny speaker. Pls suggest a option. Bec I would like to hear from technician rather than other critics.
I have a denon x2000, it works for sometime (some days it works for an hour or so, some other day it works for 15 minutes) then suddenly it goes off and on in a cyclic fashion, then it works for few more minutes and the problem happens again. No need to be Reprogram the ic just replace the ic and perform db update using advanced menu. Follow the service manual and owner manual for advanced menu buttons
Sorry for the delay, now only I got smd rework station from my office after release lock down. I replace the DSP 1 IC and initially it shows audio signal after power recycle the same issue occurs again. I try to find the manuals no database update (advance setting) procedure found. Please guide me how to fix this..
