I am 15 and just got an implant done today of the same tooth shown in the animation (front right incisor), my injury was around 6 year old when I fell from a swing and broke my tooth. Today my Roots got extracted and an instant implant was placed. I didn't feel any pain during the process just felt alot of pressure as they were trying to pull my tooth's roots out and then drilling the implant in my bone afterwards when the anesthesia was starting to wear off I felt so much uncomfort and pain that I couldn't hold in my tears but after taking pain killers I am much better. November 1st 2022 Update: After 3 months of giving my implant a rest. I got my scaling and polishing done (which is mandatory to get done) and that didn't hurt at all, my teeth impression was taken for the crown which will be placed on the implant in the upcoming week. Edit: And I finally got my crown!! It does irritate alot at first but it gets better and it looks so good
@@kyouku8417 I am from Pakistan so over here it is cheaper than the states and most of the places plus we have the best dentists here, still I have to pay like a $1200 for everything getting done.
Thank God for modern dentistry and technology. Unfortunately lost my front main top tooth , (main smile area) in a horrific accident in November 2019. Thank God and the dentist's, my teeth are normal now after successful dental implant. It was a long and painful process, but so lucky it's all done
I am writing this comment for all the people who are scared. First of all don't watch any video. you can watch after it's done.my implant done before a year still I don't dare to watch it and believe u don't feel anything with anesthesia n pain relief tablet. I feel pain while extraction only that depends on what factor I don't know. Some of my friends n relatives didn't feel pain. My only concern was cost. It is so expensive. So chill guys n take care of your teeth n brush twice n floss once before sleeping. I recently came to know that cavity can happened between your tooth where your brush can't reach. So flossing is compulsory. Take care.
@@vs-cp8ch sorry to hear. But now need to care other teeth. I stopped eating sweets though not completely.then I garggle every time I eat with warm water.I do floss n brush while sleeping.
Hi, I had an implant 6 months ago for my front tooth. I had a temporary crown. Today I was in dental surgery to have a permanent crown. Unfortunately dentist told me the screw is loose and he doesn’t know why? He tried to tighten and put temporary crown again and tell me come back in 4 weeks 😢he said it might we need another implant 😢I got painkillers, but totally disappointed that dentist have any clue wats happening and wat do we need next. Does anyone have similar issue or … thank u
What they failed to tell me was that I could experience fracture after the sugery. I neven broken a bone in my body, but damn now I know how it felt to have fracture. Hurt like hell the first 2 weeks. But overall Im thankful for this sugery. Had to wait 15 years before I could ever get one...
@@almamun_1419 I had to wait 15 years before I could get a new tooth, since my jaw was not fully developed untill I was 25 years old. And the title of the vidoe makes it clear on what I was talking about...
Unfortunately, I lost my molar last month i want to implant but too much expensive 🙁😕 and don't know how long it works. Second option is bridge that is less expensive than implant but I think it's not a better option. 😥
bridge gonna ruin ur bone , so if u can't afford try to save better cuz if u did bridge its gonna ruin the two adjacent teeth and then u need to do 3 implant instead of one , so better try to save and do implant
hi sir ! are u practicing dentist ?if a person has excruciating pain due to cavity and goes to clinic is there any instant solution to relief the pain and send the person happy and laughing instead of just prescribing pain kilers and sending the patient with pain and tears ?question is there any solution for instant relief or there is not in modern dentistry ?on 12.11.2021 during night i was eating chapati a tooth pain started all of a sudden pain with tears in my eyes .then friend told me use cloves .i chewed and spat cloves .it was fine little but todays is 16.11.2021 and pain is there and cant chew with that side and it is swollen though a day before it was little fine .can a dentist have instant solution?i hope my point is understood thanks.
Wow that's a lot of money , here in India the same thing costs around 250 $, for the crown and this is at one of the best hospitals . For a fully zirconium crown . No metal porcelain bs
I got 2 implants for 3200 abutment and crown included plus after I told the dentist I went to medical school he threw in the plasma for free should help the healing. I did not get a temp crown though . In essex Cty NJ . Dentist went to Temple Dental School
Dr. I have a question. I been missing my front right tooth for about an year now. It slowly started to decay due to my poor oral hygiene. Do you know how long will I experience pain Dr? I have not felt any pain since it completely gone. I know this will have a big impact impact in the long run. What do you suggest Dr? Also my gums bleed too
i have lost my six uper teeth because of infection should i go for inplant teeth is this ok for me kindely guide me after surgery it could be infected ,what should i do
trust me bridge is one of the worst thing u can do for ur tooth it might cost u cheap but its not for a lifetime i had a friend had it literally in 5 years it got ruined and did implant for those 3 tooth , maybe implant is expensive but as long u gonna take care of it it will last forever , bridge can affect ur bone and u might end up by a bone loss which it's too hard for u there to do implant , if u can't afford it try to save better do something worth it or not cuz at the end doing bridge gonna cost u more cuz after couple of yours u gonna have problem in ur gum infections and stuff and u gonna end up making 3 tooth , since u ruined ur adjacent teeth for a bridge
@@monicatyson2391 I've always found it incredibly dumb that Medicaid does not consider implants to be an essential service. I would absolutely consider something like dental tooth implants to be essential, especially with all the data and science we have about how missing teeth causes jaw bone and gum to deteriorate, and how neither dentures or bridges help to prevent that
As long as you got the money, y not go for it? Age ain't nothin but a number. As for me, a 52 y/o, the only thing that's standing btwn me & having a great smile is the lack of cash right now, but I believe that things are gonna Providentially change for me very soon, God willing.
reading comments below, this process seems like a massively painful procedure... is it true? i have to get an implant for a tooth 46 and hesitating to do so. partially due to price and secondly due to pain lol...
For me: Steps 1-2 = 3 months, Steps 2-3 = 1 month, Steps 3-4 about 3 months (but mine ended up taking 1 year because my initial implant impacted, meaning it pushed out through the front of my gum above the level of where the rest of your teeth are). The implant impacted because it isn't guaranteed your body will "accept" the impant. Mine initially "rejected" it during the healing process and decided to slowly push it out sideways. For the actual tooth, you may be directed to a different provider who specializes in making the teeth, so that you can get an appropriate shade compared to your other teeth. It won't be perfect (unless your teeth are professionally bleached), but you get used to the difference in color eventually.
@@pearlslerma8648 I’ve been trying really hard to follow the instructions of my oral surgeon to a tee, so I’ve thankfully been able to keep the pain to a minimum. I’m still in the process of recovering, I was told it can take up to 8 weeks before I’m fully recovered, but at this point in time (today makes 2 weeks since my surgery) I can slowly transition back to eating normal food again
Its very painful and expensive and dentist removed my good teeth also. My total cost is 6 lakhs. I have a request to all please take care your teeth from starting. I have lost my money nd teeth
@@sreekalasasi7713 mine was also painful n expensive.but once done m good.after fixing crown it has space around where food gets stuck so Dr advised me to do filling there. I want to ask u how many tooth in 6 lakh?

I want a implant I lost my crown tooth I try to avoid smiling and try not to show it I legit have 0 confidence cause of it so I might get a implant it's worth it cause I don't want to live with a missing tooth sad thing is I take good care of my teeth
I do want to get rid my front tooth but the dentist lady from our London said "no because I lose for my whole life and because the teeth will grow back"?!
It took 3 months after extraction to get the implant inserted. I think it will be another 3 months before I can get a crown. I just got the implant inserted last week. Not too much pain luckily. Long procezs
The healing proccess is fast, just a matter of days. What takes time is for the bones to adapt which can take 6 months. During the whole proccess there is no pain at all, and we can eat normally. At least for me.
I had a guided oral surgery yesterday 3 implants inserted no pain at all I swear I thought I was gonna need pain meds at least one day I didn't need anything...

Is there supposed to be a flap of loose gum hanging over the hole where the implant was placed? I haven't had any pain but two adjacent teeth are kind of sore when chewing. The stitches fell out but what worries me is that flap flesh which looks similar to the hanging down part of the tonsil. It feels loose And weird, I'm afraid that part is supposed to be attached. The surgery is painless probably won't even need pain pills but It's still a nightmare to have to get an implant... It costs a small fortune $4000-5000 for one tooth! It's not even a major surgery only takes about an hour why is it so expensive! Also the healing... 4 months! Please take care of your teeth ppl bc it's nothing fun about needing dental surgery
In my opinion, the implants in this video is the way to go, but depending on the amount of procedure required per implant it might cost on avg US$4000.00 each, so doing the Math that's min. US$24,000.00, maybe that's peanut change for you, انا ما بعرف
@@younggoose7315 I'm thinking about going the Mexico route since I'm going to mexico for 2 weeks during the summer. After the implant are you suppose to go back to the dentist in mexico?
Why does it cost so much to have your mouth fixed?. I 38 and I just lost 2 baby teeth. Now my big tooth is growing in on onside and it hurts and knocking my teeth all around.. not that I would want fake teeth but just get them fixed
It's not that bad. The area will b completely numb, so u won't feel the bone graf. It'll b sore afterward 4 about 2-3 days, but Tylenol & Ibuprofen will handle that easily. 2 months after the bone graf heals, u'll b ready 4 the implant. The implant is quick & will b numb, so it'll b sore 4 a day or 2. 1 dose of Decadron will take care of that. 2-4 months later, u'll b ready 4 the attachment & crown 👑. Don't b scared, it'll b worth it.
