@@sneezygibz6403 I had it done 5 days ago. 0 pain, the only pain you feel is anesthesia injection. They put 3 implants (well screws, it needs 3 months to grow bone around it) at one. It took maybe like 50 minutes. It's less painful that tooth extraction.

Had my whole mouth done with implant. Two plates, 12 titatium screws in my jaws. Seven hours general anesthesia. A LOT of money. But have a perfect smile for the rest of my life.
Screws didnt hurt at all. Ever. Only thing that bothered me was my tongue from having mouth open so long and dried out. I am in a DC suburb so cost a lit. Around 40k for me, but I also needed substantial bone grafting. Took a couple weeks for them to feel right, had to get used to it. Now couldn't be happier
couldn't stomach lol let me tell you something ok i have watch a tv show a very long time ago on tv call The operation i have seen things on that show that you could not evening, think or evening image i have evening seen, something most people couldn't stomach evening if they try some of you could but iam talking about an autopsy, here you guys hell i have evening watch on youtube how they do a sex change from a men to a women, now you talk about couldn't stomach watching the actual surgery, when i use to watch that tv show i told you about ok i could no joking here sit there and be eating 2 Large Original Stuffed Crust Super Supreme pizzas and some times with Garlic bread and pop or some other stuff and, i could legally sit there and be watching them cut the skin the tissue and not have it miss with my stomach at all, and trust me i have evening watch some other stuff that where evening more then that, so for me to not stomach this is one hell of a big joke, but i well end with saying this it pop up on my youtube feed so i click on it, and just a little fyi for you bro, my teeth there's a lot that are like this so before i go under the kinf i want to do all the research i can see what my options are becuase trust me the way my teeth are now, iam going to have them all pull i am thinking, yes there just that bad but with all of that say give me the link to the procedure and i will watch it with open arms, if you can't then you yourself couldn't stomach watching the actual surgery.
I agree with you to a point. But it's not always the reason some people have to have implants. Some people have accidents and break teeth. As I did years ago. Then over the years it went bad. So I had to have just the one implant.
Implant costs vary depending on country.. big bucks in the states! Although there are some that will do it for 15 hundred using cheap materials. If you travel to Bali, Philippines, Mexico, Costa Rica etc. One spends between 12 to 16 hundred with premium dental items like strussman swiss implants. I spent a total of 75 hundred for 7 strussman implants.. in the states.. fucking dentist wanted 56k. Dentist in the states are nothing but legitimate thieves.. I use my insurance twice a year for teeth cleaning only which is about 550. When I travel to another country.. I get laser cleaned for 125. Dollars...
This procedure should be covered under Employer medical insurance limits, because dental plans consider this a cosmetic surgery. They will pay a percentage of the prosthetic tooth if you're fortunate to have insurance at all.

I has 4 implants last May and am about to get the Temps replaced with permanent ones in a couple of weeks. it's been a long process but one I'm glad I did it. I have had no pain at any step of the process and was given only novacaine for the extraction, as I requested. so for anyone thinking about implants, I say "go for it". it is an expensive procedure but rewarding in the end when you get your smile and good health back again.
I'm elderly old with shrinking bones. I say NO way to dental implants, and that fusion crap is out of the question. Weeks of painful healing without pain medication by bad US law. All for the low price of between 11 and fifteen thousand dollars. Yeah, sure :|
I've had one implant about a year ago. Because years ago my tooth got hit. Over the years it went bad. The dentist that did mine made a fantastic job. The whole process took about 3 months. It didn't hurt at all. My original dentist quoted me 3 grand. But my new Dentist did it for 2 grand. A lot of money. But worth it.
I had one implant about 7 years ago, needed a bone graft first, been great, don't remember the pain, I don't use pain relief so coped with it. I'm in the process of replacing a bridge with two implants, had the first procedure, pain the first day, but no problems since (no pain relief), that was 4 days ago. My face is still a bit swollen. No need for antiboitics which is great. Lots of stitches but doing well. I've been told each tooth costs approx AUD $3000, before insurance here in Australia

Got this done recently in Korea (I live in Korea), cost me a little over 1k. No pain whatsoever but I also had healthy bones. The dentist did an excellent job.

It seems painful watching it here than when I had it..trust me guys it's not as painful as it seems. At least for me removing my wisdom teeth was more pain than my dental implants.mi recommend it

No it is still like this. I just had this done 2 weeks ago. Some people say it is painless. I had so much pain I cried the whole rest of the day after the numbness wore off.

In the process, they did a bone graft. My gum just healed after two weeks. Stitches all disolved yesterday... yaaaaaay🎉🎉🎉 going back for the follow up at the end of the month. How much longer is the process?
Sheree Jackson Don’t you have to wait 3 to for months for healing? I’m in the process to and waited months for my checkup for 2 implants. I’m ready for the screws to be placed then wait another 3 months for the crown.
@@Natalie1026 Wow, I know it takes 4-6 months for the healing. I think this is so they can make sure the gum area is ok. This is the VA. I'm not sure the entire process. But, it'll be a month when I go in. So 3 to 5 more months for the screw...
I know the dentists are worried about the patients and weather there brushing there teeth or not but I know the dentists mouths are drooling at the moment to charge 3 or 4 grand for this type of operation...............Big pay day there saying..........
I doubt that. I think only a really bad dentist would be chomping at the bit to have a patient need to do that. I don't think they make nearly as much as we think though for the job they do too. Consider that the dentist or oral surgeon is probably up to their waist in student loans for the first 20 years, any practice has TONS of overhead like rent/mortgage on the office space, buying state of the art medical equipment and upgrading it, receptionists. Add into that they'll need a new surgical pack for each procedure, and the cost of the bone graft material, special membrane that only lets certain stuff through, the implant itself which I believe is made of titanium, having a crown made, and then of course the cost of their time for the consults and their time and the hygienists time for the appointment plus clean up and whatever else... I just doubt they make that much. Looking at the facility I went too, the two consults I received, and the cost of all three people extracting my tooth, plus the special bone chips and nitrous, I'm convinced they basically lost money on my $350 extraction yesterday.

I had my last appointment yesterday where the dentist cut my gum to expose the implant . The pain today is awful my gums are swollen and my front teeth hurt a lot . I would never do this again .
I just had my second implant placed in my #8 space on Friday. (I lost the tooth due to an injury during childhood). I've been dealing with this situation for many years now. My first implant failed after just 5 years (they usually last decades or even a lifetime, but not in my case) My oral surgeon seemed to believe the reason it failed was due to the dentist that placed the crown and getting cement all over the threads of the implant but no telling for sure. So anyway, I had it removed and another bone graft done last summer. Had to wait 6 months for it to heal of course.Just had the implant surgery again. It's been almost a week and I'm just finishing the antibiotics and there is still some slight pain, a feeling of slight pressure, and some throbbing. I hope this is normal for day 6. If this thing fails again, I'll just wear the damn flipper for the rest of my life. So used to it now anyway.. I'm sick of dealing with it all!!
Why would you bother to replace an 8th teeth? I have 4 of them complety removed and do the chewing just fine. The dentist told me that teeth literally has no use rather than annoying you.

If it’s replacement of a molar, a bridge - if possible - is a good choice and cheaper, making 3 new teeth for a smaller price compared to the expensive implants.🦷
The only thing that I disagree is the placement of the cotton to close the implant chimney since, because it is biological, it degrades over time and is damaged by taking bad ones, for that we use ready-made Teflon tape
I just got my extraction, and now I am quite concerned about the implant, as unfortunately the extraction ended up being very difficult on me. This may be due to the difficulties I have in getting numb, also the tooth was infected and we didn't know until after we began. I am concerned because I believe this will increase my anxiety, and if this is painful as well I don't know if I can handle it. How likely is the procedure to be painful (getting the implant placed?) I am very nervous.
How did everything go bro ? Same here bro ,for me the extraction hurt a bit as my gums were weak and infected , the implant was a bit painful since the anesthesia didn’t work to it’s full potential .
There’s almost no pain what so ever. The procedure is easy about 40 mins max from start to finish. It’s less pain then fillings I’ve had done in the past. Find a good older dentist with good experience this process is easier and less painful then an extraction. Go for it
Prob better then having teeth for some. Me I got a big ass over bite which causes me sometimes to bite my tongue and got plenty of over lapping teeth. I *bleeping* hate them.
I have a tooth "condition" called hypodontia so a few of my adult teeth never formed. Like they just aren't there for some reason. So I have to get dental implants. 😬
Alana Wozniak same! I have to get implants for both my lateral incisors! One I lost as a kid and the adult one never grew in and the other I still have (and it’s still a baby tooth technically.) when I had gone to the dentist for the first time, they did an X-ray and said I don’t have any adult teeth for the laterals and that I’d have to get implants since they never formed.

I had 2 back teeth removed & it was some serious pain afterwards for about a week. Percocet helped a bit but than I noticed I fell into a depression & was constipated. Now I'm scared to get implants!
Dentist should be rewarded and Yes are worth a little more.. But they should be regulated..Astronomical amounts for dental work...I could understand if they were cutting away Cancer or something as such..but Really ! Way to much money and half of them should NOT BE DENTIST'S.

Most of the Medical Insurance here in the Philippines cover part of the cost so i'll go for it. Titanium is a very strong metal hence it should last 20 years at the very least.
Can you put too much pressure on the gauge to cost the implant to come out? The reason I’m asking is because when they were removing the healing cap the implant came out. Now I have to go through the whole process all over again. Any feedback or suggestions for me? Please
The process it’s not painful at all . Some pressure here and there nothing to big. My doctor(dentist) are very professional and nice. I did 1 single tooth . The only part I didn’t really like was when they were drilling u can heard everything the drills vibrate so u feel the vibration not painful at all. Just a bit scary.

Can I do implant with one dentist, after putting an implant fixture and waiting for several month to heal, then I go to another dentist for putting an abutment and crown ?
This procedure is not pain at all you be put into sleep then inject it with anesthesia before they start the dental implant but would roughly cost 3000 dollars or more
Had an implant placed on one of my front teeth (#21) 4 days ago now. I had the 1 stage, so part of it is showing (not stitched up thank god) cost me 2500 for the post and then 1500 for the crown in 3-5 months. The crown part doesnt look very fun tho, I think its done different now.
Just had graft at/around my #18 2nd molar area. 2 days later now, and ...... Well I'm puzzled. A tooth extraction and bone graft and I feel ZERO pain ! Great , but is it normal in some cases?? Slight throbbing, but not the pain
