Trust me everyone I've use this 3 times in the past 4 years it's permanent for sure Go by this video and having this where you live is a life saver!!!!!!!!!!! Even if you don't have a broken denture or a tooth came off it will happen and your driving to Walmart or pharmacy to get this so just put it in your cabinet!!!!
I know that there are 3 types of plastic materials for dentures. Mostly used in the recent years is thermosens. If this is the case you need to buy thermosens. If you use the wrong material it cannot work.
Your product is a life saver. Thank you! I just got it by DoorDash delivery because my pharmacy didn't have it. And Walgreens is far from me. Anyway: Glad You Exist!!!
It works on temps too. My temps cracked in half with that bump in the middle.i had 2 half pieces. Perfectly in half. I couldn't get it to work and was frustrated. I had a very hard time holding it. So I used a piece of tape to help so I could hold it and have pressure on both ends. Put on something to watch so you are not staring at a clock. Trust me, that is the longest 5 mins of your life at first. Also in a quiet room. After I took it out from hot water I had some sanding to do BUT it worked! I wouldn't use them to eat anything like steak. But I can talk and go to work while I wait for permanent to come in. Make sure you understand the crack. Practice holding it to see where your pressure need to be. Because the huge bump in my temps I had to have pressure on odd angle Use a small piece of tape if you have a hard time with it on the first attempt. I'm so happy. Was worried I wouldn't be able to talk for a few weeks. That's embarrassing to me. Anyways. If this crazy twisting crack could be fixed then regular dentures should be easy. Thanks for the wonderful product. 10 out 10. One of those thank God this exists moments in life. I recommend buying a few packs for peace of mind and you don't have to ship around for them. Great product and works!!!!!
My broken is a hole in plate, upper dentures. Can this be corrected with just paste or will some sort of patch be necessary. If so, what type of material for patch?
Great Video tutorial to fixed for a broken Denture... Thanks for sharing this very helpful Video Tutorial on RU-vid Doc, Always Stay Safe And Healthy, Our Best regards to all, Pray And May The Living and Loving Almighty God The Father Bless You More and More Always and Your Family Circle... Ps, watching here from Glendora City Southern California!!!
sadly didn't work as, although a clean denture break, I either applied to much glue the first time or too little the second try. plus I found it physically difficult to hold the two pieces together for a total of almost 10 mins. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Okay, I got the tooth back in, but I put a bit too much adhesive on and some of it got on the side and a large portion on the bottom of my dentures. I was unable to remove it using the sandpaper. Is there any way to remove the excess residue?
Yes, i just fixed my dads dentures that cracked in the middle. Its Friday night and he has his implants on Wednesday. We got lucky that it's so close to hos appointment. He dropped them on the ceramic floor. Good luck, btw be prepared to sand off alot of excess.
I have a front tooth that rotted from inside and chipped. Thing is, it chipped only on the inside: like, looking at myself in the mirror reflects nothing but a normal tooth. Unfortunately, my puppy head-butted me and it's shakey-loose. No new chipping, but reasy to fall out at anytime. The gum area where the root is lies exposed. Pain comes and go3s, but i nees something to last till i get to my dentist appointment in May. Can i use this? Could i attach the loose tooth to a stable juxtaposed tooth? How far up the rear of the tooth shall i apply this? Thank you!
Thanks for your question. Repair-It is intended for use with dentures only and based on your description, it sounds like you're referring to a natural tooth repair. We do not recommend using this product for that purpose.
Help? I have a front tooth that broke-off my upper denture. I can't get the tooth to push down back in it's place. Inside teeth part of the denture. The tooth has a step that fits under/inside the gum line. I can't figure-out how to get the tooth to go down any further to drop into place. I'm afraid, If I push down to hard may break the dentures. Also, what's the dry time for this Dentemp glue to completely dry.
So sorry you are having issues with your dentures. For the issue described, we recommend that you see your dentist as soon as possible. The dry time for Repair-it is approximately 5 minutes, then as the instructions indicate, the repaired dentures should be soaked in hot water for 10 minutes.
So, I followed all of the directions and everything seemed to go well. It was just a crack along my bottom molars. About 2 hours after the repair, I bit into a piece of pretty soft chicken and the crack just split right open again. I'm going to try it again, but I don't have much hope.
Great question! To be safe, we would recommend allowing 24 hours so that the Repair-It material has plenty of time to fully set beforehand. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to our Consumer Affairs department at consumeraffairs@doc-brands.com. Thanks!
If the repair is completed properly according to the directions, it is safe to eat with the dentures. However, every repair is unique and the time it will last varies per individual. If you experience discomfort or I’ll fitting dentures after the repair, please see your dentist.
Yes, if you have a hole in your denture you can use the material to fill it in and once it's dry, use the sandpaper provided to smooth out the area. If you need additional assistance, please contact our wonderful Consumer Care team at consumeraffairs@doc-brands.com and someone will be glad to help you.
Good theory but it did not work as advertised for me. Followed the instructions and the first thing no one mentions (in the video or the instructions) is just how fast you have to go from initial mixing to fitting the pieces together. This stuff starts to set up almost as soon as the liquid touches the powder and inside of 30 seconds or so is already way beyond "syrup" and almost to a paste. (so much for the first packet). Second attempt and we got the mixing done and applied to the parts; parts fitted... going well! Seems like we are going according to plan. and now we find a second issue: the material hardens but does not actually create a "bond" so as soon as I took the "excess material" off there was nothing to hold the parts together, never got to the additional 4 min set time, I now have 2 parts again. The remaining material was surprisingly easy to clean off given its intended function so I'm reluctant to make a 3rd attempt. Fortunately, this is not an expensive product so it's no great loss but, I was hopeful that it was going to save me the days/weeks of waiting for a repair/replacement through the dentist (they will always push hard towards the far more expensive replacement).
We're sorry to hear that the Repair-It you purchased did not work out for you and appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to make this right. Please contact our Consumer Affairs department at consumeraffairs@doc-brands.com and one of our customer care agents will be glad to assist you.
Repair-it is the only denture repair kit that we offer and unfortunately, it cannot be used with Valplast or any flexible dentures. Our best recommendation would be to contact your dentist for suggestions on repair.
Repair-it is intended only to be used to repair dentures. For tooth fillings, we have two other products that we recommend: Dentemp Loose Cap & Lost Filling Repair and Dentemp Refill-it Filling Repair Material. You can find out more about these products, including where to buy, on our website.
Just did this because dentist said I have to wait a hole week to get in worked perfectly now only question how does the dentist permitaly fix denture now that it's has this stuff on it
Hi Samuel, that's a great question! There are multiple ways to address the repair, but your dentist will ultimately be the one to make the determination of the best way to repair it for your individual needs.
Infairness and basically speaking, once again Thanks much Doc for sharing this very helpful video on RU-vid to save money & it really works out good for now... By the way, i have a concern Doc about my full Upper Denture that I’ve had just repaired today and in fact i’ve used it right now... Just a friendly ask if you don’t mind if i can still use my Upper Denture to eat food in a regular way? Thanks, Always Stay Safe And Healthy, Our Best regards, Pray And May The Living and Loving Almighty God The Father Bless You More Always and Your Family Circle!!!
@@dentemp Ok noted that doc, thanks much for sharing your precious time and kindness from the depths of my heart... Always Stay Safe And Healthy, Our Best regards, Pray And May The Living and Loving Almighty God The Father Bless You More and More Always and Your Family Circle!!!
No, Repair-it is not intended for use on a fixed bridge as the material is not safe to be inside of the mouth until it has fully dried. We would recommend contacting your dentist for assistance with this issue.
Because every repair is unique, we cannot guarantee it to hold any specific length of time. For a complicated break along the tooth line, especially if it also caused multiple teeth to come loose, we would recommend seeing a dental professional.
It's a great product! I broke my 3 tooth upper partial - I was eating an apple lol. The 3 teeth broke off. I used this and it repaired them no problem.
We're sorry to hear that there seems to be an issue with the Repair-It you purchased and appreciate the opportunity to make this right for you. Repair-it is intended only to be used to repair dentures. For re-attaching crowns, we have two other products that we recommend: Dentemp Loose Cap & Lost Filling Repair and Dentemp Recap-it Cap & Crown Repair. You can find out more about these products, including where to buy, on our website.
@@imranyousufani8258 We are sorry you did not have a good experience. All over the counter products for crown repair are intended to be temporary solutions until you can visit a dentist for a more permanent solution.
Repair-It is intended to repair broken dentures and as long as it is a clean break, it should do the trick. If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Consumer Affairs department at consumeraffairs@doc-brands.com.
Repair-it can be purchased directly through our website (dentemp.com/products/dentemp-repair-it-denture-repair-kit) or on Amazon (www.amazon.com/Repair-Advanced-Formula-Denture-Repair/dp/B000GGHS62/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3NJU9NSTO9IXN&keywords=repair-it&qid=1692282442&sprefix=repair-i%2Caps%2C143&sr=8-5), as well as select retailers such as Walgreens and CVS.
Can you please help me to understand something, or clarify it to me... is this different than what a manicurist uses to make acrylic nails? And if so, in what way? If i didn't already have the ingredients and tools for that, and experience working with it, this would definitely be less expensive, but i do have that and tempted to use it because money is exceptionally tight right now. On the other hand i really dont want to make a bad problem worse. I tooth on my lower denture came out (i think it's the same one as in your demo here actually). I have absolutely no way to get to the drntist as i an homebound. Im working up to starting a youtube channel though, so how i look, including my teeth and fingernails, matters a lot. Great work on this video by the way! Thank you in advance!!💜💜💜
This is similar to what the dentist would use to repair broken or cracked dentures. We would recommend contacting your dental professional with questions regarding the use of any other adhesive material for repairing your dentures.
@@dentempthank you SOOO very much!! I purchased your product and going to be doing the repair in the morning. After the hot water for 10 minutes, is it then ready to go back in my mouth and I can eat as usual? I've read the instructions several times and for some reason that is still not 100% clear to me. I'm sure it's due to some problems I'm having with doinle vision that seems to scramble my understanding of stuff I read in small print. This aging thing is a hoot! Lol! I can't thank you enough for putting up this helpful video because watching it makes it all very clear for me!! I'm so excited to have this tooth back im place soon!!💜💜💜
@@RoseA.Dewine it depends slightly on the type of repair that's needed, but generally speaking, as long as it's fully dried, once you've soaked it and sanded away any excess (if needed), it should be ready to place back in your mouth for regular wear after a thorough rinse/wash.
@@dentempthank you very much for your response! Idk why i was so nervous to do it. Lol. But I did it and I'm sooo happy to have that tooth (front lower) back in place! Feels like it was never gone! And super happy to not be living in fear of anything going wrong with my teeth now. GREAT PRODUCT!!!💜💜💜

That is very unfortunate. If you can find a way to hold the denture pieces steady and in proper alignment, Repair-it should be able to help hold them together.
I tried epoxy and it held for a few weeks then it gave out saliva and denture clean tablets broke down the epoxy as most glues aren't worth a darn anymore.

Y’all have to be the worst supplier to your retailers for this being a decent serviceable product. It’s always out of stock. Worse that it’s an emergency use product that people need immediately and they have no consistent channel to obtain it easily. Get a clue! I have 1/2 a mind to dev a duo Lichtenstein product and simply oust u from the stores. Problem is I have only 1/2 a mind.
your half of the mind that is missing must be the half of the mind that realizes manufacturers typically don't auto ship to retailers. the stores these are out of stock in need to order them usually from their warehouse which is usually passes the order to be approved from the corporate office. the fact you are finding this product out of stock may have absolutely nothing to do with DOC Brands. (I'm not associated with DOC Brands I just understand how the supply chain works due to common sense later reinforced by experience 🤷♂️)
I don't know who helped you choose that music but it was so off-putting that I will never watch another video by you or I would never buy that denture repair It was awful It totally ruined everything I would never buy anything from this company
Hi Sean, we're sorry to hear that such a thing would cause you to boycott the Dentemp brand. This video was an older version of the instructional video and the new one can be found here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HjSKC2hPXv0.html. There are 3 different materials used last year's. For example thermosens. I think this will not work for thermosens. You need to know what was your denture made from?
