Good theory but it did not work as advertised for me. Followed the instructions and the first thing no one mentions (in the video or the instructions) is just how fast you have to go from initial mixing to fitting the pieces together. This stuff starts to set up almost as soon as the liquid touches the powder and inside of 30 seconds or so is already way beyond "syrup" and almost to a paste. (so much for the first packet). Second attempt and we got the mixing done and applied to the parts; parts fitted... going well! Seems like we are going according to plan. and now we find a second issue: the material hardens but does not actually create a "bond" so as soon as I took the "excess material" off there was nothing to hold the parts together, never got to the additional 4 min set time, I now have 2 parts again. The remaining material was surprisingly easy to clean off given its intended function so I'm reluctant to make a 3rd attempt. Fortunately, this is not an expensive product so it's no great loss but, I was hopeful that it was going to save me the days/weeks of waiting for a repair/replacement through the dentist (they will always push hard towards the far more expensive replacement).

The tablet will expand into a gel-like bandage and adhere to the affected area for up to 12 hours. If it has not fully dissolved after that point and you are unable to wait, the tablet may be removed by gently peeling the tablet from the sides while washing with warm water.
I've been doing this for over 30 years with different brands. This particular brand is not give you enough powder or liquid in each packet to cover the Denture really good.
We would recommend starting with one tablet as it will expand to cover the affected area. If it doesn't seem to fully cover both canker sores, there is no harm in applying a second tablet beside the other one. Followed the instructions to repair a broken denture tooth. The tooth broke off the next day. Repaired it a second time it broke off again the same day. Didn't eat any hard food. Wasted money.

You have to scrape or cut it off. Be very careful to not damage the border of the denture or inside of it. Make sure you read the instructions carefully so you know what to do.
Is this product for immediate dentures only or for permanent dentures also, I have both so either one would help , I just ordered your product today and hope to try it by next week on my immediate dentures, thank you..
Great question! Reline-It can be used on both temporary and permanent dentures as long as they are not flexible dentures (Valplast). Great question! One tip is to be sure that the denture is completely dry before application so that it adheres properly. You may also want to be sure that the material is applied to the denture while it's still more of a watery consistency vs once it starts to thicken so that it's more easily spread across the full surface. I'm amazed that customer service monitor comments and actually reply! My first question is, why cant i use it on an ongoing basis. What harm can it do? People who have dentures need something that can be used on a regular basis, forever!!! Going to the dentist is very expensive. If i try this i would want it for a full upper denture. Obviously the amount shown is for a lower denture and it only just fills it. Do you make it for uppers or do i have to buy it twice to do the job? Having dentures comes with the ongoing problem of having to use these products daily, so having something that lasts is a must. If possible can you make it so that we can continue to use it as needed?

To address your first question, while we do have many customers who have used Reline-It consistently for a very long time with no issues, as a company, we cannot recommend prolonged, long-term use as this is not consistent with the best practice recommendations of the ADA. Regarding your second question, yes there are 2 liquid packets and 2 powder packets in each box of Reline-It and each contains enough to reline either a top or bottom denture. I use 2 packs to do my top denture. And definitely use a mirror when fitting it into your mouth. my 1st try I had it a bit crooked and it felt OK but looked a bit off. LOL

I have a front tooth that rotted from inside and chipped. Thing is, it chipped only on the inside: like, looking at myself in the mirror reflects nothing but a normal tooth. Unfortunately, my puppy head-butted me and it's shakey-loose. No new chipping, but reasy to fall out at anytime. The gum area where the root is lies exposed. Pain comes and go3s, but i nees something to last till i get to my dentist appointment in May. Can i use this? Could i attach the loose tooth to a stable juxtaposed tooth? How far up the rear of the tooth shall i apply this? Thank you!
Thanks for your question. Repair-It is intended for use with dentures only and based on your description, it sounds like you're referring to a natural tooth repair. We do not recommend using this product for that purpose.
During the fitting process, the material will be soft for both the top and bottom portion of the SleepTight Mouthpiece. The only reason there's a mention of the top teeth in the video is to draw attention to the V-notch on the top portion of the mouthpiece that helps ensure that it's lined up properly. When you bite down to mold the material, it will create impressions on both the top and bottom sections. I am now looking into trying this product, my question is do you have to use an adhesive with this product? I have to use an adhesive because my top is horeshoed and also how long does this last? And how long can I continue to use this product thank you!
All great questions! Regarding whether or not adhesive is needed, this is more of a personal preference. Some Reline-It users find that the material creates a secure enough fit that no additional adhesive is needed, while others prefer a slightly more solid bond. Regardless of your experience, it is completely fine to use adhesive with Reline-It. The length of time that it can be worn also depends slightly on the user, but typically, Reline-It will last for several weeks with some users reporting that it lasted them for months. There is no documented limit for how long you can or cannot use Reline-It. Eventually, a professional reline may be required due to the changes in the bone structure of your mouth, but there is no harm in prolonged use of Reline-It.
Yes, i just fixed my dads dentures that cracked in the middle. Its Friday night and he has his implants on Wednesday. We got lucky that it's so close to hos appointment. He dropped them on the ceramic floor. Good luck, btw be prepared to sand off alot of excess.
There are 3 different materials used last year's. For example thermosens. I think this will not work for thermosens. You need to know what was your denture made from?
Nope still not close to being snug. No excess material to cut off. When I first got the denture they fit because gums were so swollen from extraction. Started having problems within 30 days. Dentist wanted me to buy a whole new denture which I couldn't afford. Ins said I had to keep them 5 yrs before they would pay again. Dentist relined it which lasted 3 months before again falling out. I use massive amounts of adhesive. A whole big tube in a week trying to keep them in. Can't eat with the dentures as they fall out with every bite. Should I use two or more packets of reliner until I can qualify for new ones later this year?
We're sorry to hear that getting a good fit has been a struggle for you. In some cases, it may be appropriate to use two packets if the dentures are severely loose.
Sorry, I forgot to come back with an update. The kit worked well, with a couple of caveats: 1. Use only in a cool environment. I was in a room that was 30°C and the epoxy started setting much too quickly. 2. With the fluid packet, only cut a small corner off and be quick with tipping it into the container. The container is very small, and the liquid tends to wick up the side of the packet, dripping outside of the container. Overall, the kit is very good and works well. 👍
Absolutely! For some folks, it may take a little time to adjust to the device, but the custom fit and the large opening for optimal breathing help provide a personalized fit for maximum comfort and effectiveness.
It works on temps too. My temps cracked in half with that bump in the middle.i had 2 half pieces. Perfectly in half. I couldn't get it to work and was frustrated. I had a very hard time holding it. So I used a piece of tape to help so I could hold it and have pressure on both ends. Put on something to watch so you are not staring at a clock. Trust me, that is the longest 5 mins of your life at first. Also in a quiet room. After I took it out from hot water I had some sanding to do BUT it worked! I wouldn't use them to eat anything like steak. But I can talk and go to work while I wait for permanent to come in. Make sure you understand the crack. Practice holding it to see where your pressure need to be. Because the huge bump in my temps I had to have pressure on odd angle Use a small piece of tape if you have a hard time with it on the first attempt. I'm so happy. Was worried I wouldn't be able to talk for a few weeks. That's embarrassing to me. Anyways. If this crazy twisting crack could be fixed then regular dentures should be easy. Thanks for the wonderful product. 10 out 10. One of those thank God this exists moments in life. I recommend buying a few packs for peace of mind and you don't have to ship around for them. Great product and works!!!!!
Should I leave my denture out for a while before I fit them? My gums change shape. I have used the product ❤ it's very nice 👌 so smooth and snug. I don't use adhesive at all.

It isn't necessary to leave your dentures out for a period of time before fitting, however, if you feel that it would provide a better fit, there should be no harm in leaving your dentures out for a period of time prior to the fitting process.
