Grew up there ('85 DHS & '95 UNT Grad)... raised my son there and my family is there! Just visited for Thanksgiving. Lol, "all the streets named after trees..." there are some great neighborhoods in Denton and nice parks. Great schools and lots of shopping at unique places. It's a great place to live - so much has changed since I moved to NY in 2008, but it's still a good place to be if you want to be in a town and not feel like you are in Dallas. Found your video via the eXp LEVEL UP series today. Just joined eXp this week up in NY... love your channel :-)
I just visited this past weekend and fell in love with Denton! I live in San Antonio and I’m seriously considering Denton and the DFW area to relocate to. Denton is an awesome little town!
Hey! Apologies for the late reply... I use a Google Chrome extension. Check it out at chromewebstore.google.com/detail/paint/ejllkedmklophclpgonojjkaliafeilj.
I lived in Denton back in 2015-2017. I enjoyed my time there. Laidback college town. Unfortunately every year that I returned to visit (2018, 2019, 2020) it has resembled generic metroplex suburbia more and more. Its unrecognisable. I did like the square with the old courthouse and the cool places around there. The roads were TERRIBLE though and the construction RELENTLESS. Another thing I did appreciate about Denton was the vegetation. For it being in the North Texas plains, it has a good amount of trees and some biodiversity with the trees as well. Also, fun fact.. I have seen all of I-35 between San Antonio and Duluth whereas my husband has seen the WHOLE stretch between Laredo and Duluth
