Because he fluked it last time against the Warriors? Mike Malone looked like he got himself ejected to fire up his team who were getting whooped, it worked for a bit but ultimately it backfired as no one could draw up a last play...

Murray leaves the Denver Nuggets team in the lurch again - he rests when it's the most difficult for the team. A good game by the Nuggets team against LAC and the roster nuggets without Jokic - would be in the middle of the Chinese League table. MPJ was constant like the whole season in terms of points and percentages.

Had me worried when Coach Lue took Russ off the floor but the guys held on to the lead. PJ and Zu played some nice defense on Jokic late in the game! This was a solid team win and i loved the defensive effort and intensity! If The Clippers play like this on the defensive end they are going to be tough to beat 4 times in a 7 game series....

Yeah, they made a good job. Zubac played almost whole game. For a man of such height it is very exhausting. He is season leader in defensiveRim FG% allowed. Better than Rudy Gobert or Porzingis. He is also on 3rd place at Field Goal % behind Daniel Gafford from Dallas Mavericks and Rudy Gobert.

Jokic needs help, Murray and MPJ + the beach were never the "help". To reiterate that he is yet to play with a 2nd superstar in his 9 year tenure with the ("Chicken Nuggets anyone?"). While putting great effort on defense. And let's not talk about the bench and coaching staff. The depth, chemistry and the size this team has are insane. The only reason ppl say "this guy has no help", "that guy has no help" is bc they think the words "needs help" for "get a superstar". This team is top 3 in the league, last year was 1st and won everything. You don't win all that alone. Jokic has help.

He's not as good when Giannis plays, we saw it. Neither is Bradley Beal. Harden? Inconsistent. Curry? He has no superstar-caliber player rn, not a fair comparison. Mitchell? Luka? Who? Maybe Luka and Holiday are the only one PGs that can do that other than Murray. In the entire league.

and Harden played great today. I hope he brought back Rockets Harden and this team will be legit contender.

They always do this for national televised games. Both games Nuggets-Celtics were like playoff games. Actually I like this, otherwise regular season would be even more booring.

Guess what, they allowed defense to be played and still great players like Jokić andvPG will get their numbers, but players like Porter Jr. and Harden will have horrible nights. And players like Zubac and KCP or Gordon, who work hard for team will also contribute big in games like this. But you won't see 100 completely open 3 pts and 10 tomahawk slam dunks in empty paint. And by the way refs called plenty of fouls, we saw 67 FTs. What do you want, 105 FTs per game? It was physical game with lot of contacts, that's the game I know, I played and grew watching game like that.

Yeah I have been really hating on Reggie Jackson, he is not championship material. But to be honest that is not his fault. Denver front office should have done something when we lost Brown. At least mid season, when it was painfully obvious that we don't have bench unit. Last year we also had Jeff Green, who could give you 6-10 bench points every night. Payton Watson can somewhat fill that role, he is still young, but Brown -> Reggie is straight downgrade.

@@vladislavsimovic899 Bruce Brown leaving for Indiana was huge, he was a starting calibre pg coming off the bench.. Reggie Jackson not so much... But Denver wasn't willing to pay the man and he bounced, can't blame him.. A really valuable piece during the Nuggets ChP run. Jeff Green as well, seems like the guy doesn't age, dude was like in his 17th season and was still contributing off the bench for the Nuggets... There's definitely holes in the armor, this isn't the same team as last season, just shows how hard a repeat is in pro sports.
