I actually have an old Scholastic book that told the events of this very episode. The book contains two stories where you would have to flip the entire book if you wanted to read the other story. Deoxy Crisis was renamed to "Deoxy in Danger" and the other story that the book had was called Grovyle Trouble which was a retelling of the anime episode "Odd Pokemon Out"
I have that book. I also have the “Sweet Baby James” one, whatever that was renamed too and whatever the second story on the other side is. Have to find them. Haven’t looked at them in years. But I think I saw one of them not too long ago. Just have to remember where. Lol
Did Meowth get possessed by a Beeheeyem in Unova? It's weird that he got possessed by a Psychic type twice. (Though he is one of the few pokemon that speaks human language so there's that) EDIT: Okay apparently a few times
I remember the arbok evolving into seviper thing as a kid. When I was watching that episode with my brother, he was like none of them evolve into seviper, but I said it was arbok because they were both snakes and didnt realize there were other options outside of the ones I was given. When the answer came up he have me the most confused look ever.
4:54 Drat, he found my one weakness. I did really like this episode. It had really good continuity, the plot was really engaging, Max wasn't on my nerves for once and best of all Solana was here.
I know you were making jokes about Miltank, but let me tell you: in the Pokémon Adventures manga, Misty obliterates Whitney's Miltank with her Starmie without even breaking a sweat. Disrespect or catharsis? *You make the call!*
0:33 in deoxys defence he was dealing with the mother of all migraines. I'm sure we all had that moment where we don't know where something is only to find out 5 mins later you where holding it the whole time.
Migraines are awful and they really screw with your mind you can't really think as the only thing that consumes your mind and fills it is nothing but debilitating pain. No rational thoughts, no logical thinking, only pain.
Haha, timing! Sounds pretty cool, though. I’m planning to watch Advanced series soon, but I wonder how the episodes work out when watching them in context with the previous ones like that.
I'm sorry man you missed it. Arbok 9nky evolves into Seviper if you hold you game boy upside down while hanging over a snake pit and level it up to level 66 inside granite cave.
I know its a long shot but in my mind they asked the wrong question in that trainers choice thing because if it was what Pokémon did Jessie have before Seviper the answer is arbok/ it could have been the person writing the question knew that seviper came into the party and just thought Jessie’s arbok evolved
I never actually saw the episode where they released Arbok and Weezing when it aired (i did later as a teen though, actually a very beautiful scene, tears are actually swelling up a bit as i type this lol) so that episode break segment really had me believing Arbok did evolve into Seviper for a good few years lol. Cause Jesse had one snake mon, now its a different snake mon, must be an evolution.
For a big part of my childhood, i belived arbok evolved into seviper, not because of the anime, but because: snake = cool snake = even cooler snake (i was a stupid kid on that matter)
4:23 Ok for real can we talk about the fact that Seviper has NO evolution line and the fact that Arbok is the answer but there is no answer to this question? What the hell pokemon.
funnily enough im pretty sure the first time a pokemon used meowth to talk, it wasnt even a psychic pokemon-it was a tentacool and tentacruel combo. also i will now flex my special emoji powers now that im a channel member
You want to know something I did the same mistake as a kid when my cousin was showing me his Pokemon trading card collection I had the thought that Jirachi evolve into Deoxys even though that was not the case
A lot of them have incorrect choices/answers. 4Kids be dumb. If I’m not mistaken, I think Trainer’s Choice was a dub exclusive thing. The original Japanese didn’t have it. If they wanted a commercial break mini game idk why they didn’t just keep doing Who’s That Pokémon? The format was always different in Japan (they only showed a body part not an entire silhouette) up til I think Sun & Moon (I know Journeys matched that) anyway. Trainer’s Choice was a fun concept but ultimately dumb in execution because 4Kids was dumb.
