Departing Payson, AZ (KPAN) 

Here is short clip of my departure from KPAN en route to KBRG (Belen, NM) on July 1, 2020. Payson departures off runway 24 require an immediate 30 degree right turn to 270 after takeoff to avoid overflying the residential area just beyond the departure end of the runway. There is a strict noise abatement policy in effect here so please respect the local residents if you find yourself departing from Payson in the future. If you don’t understand the procedure, just ask someone in the terminal building in front of the restaurant and they’ll be happy to explain it to you.
