Too bad this specific version was never released on CD. I'd have played the shit out of it. One of the very best EDM tracks ever, and that is NOT hyperbole.
Digweed first banged this one out at the Mayan in Los Angeles back in the early 00s. So classic. Got this on vinyl from release records back in the glory days.
1st They Remixed Dirty Sticky Floors by David Gahan off his Paper Monsters Solo Album! Now they touched a DM classic.....Lexicon Avenue are Infamous upon House remixes!! This remix so dark long and haunting yet very 3AM sexy to hear!
[Verse 1] Something beautiful is happening inside for me Something sensual, it's full of fire and mystery I feel hypnotised, I feel paralysed I have found heaven [Verse 2] There's a thousand reasons why I shouldn't spend my time with you For every reason not to be here I can think of two To keep me hanging on feeling nothing's wrong Inside your heaven [Chorus] It's only when I lose myself with someone else That I find myself, I find myself It's only when I lose myself with someone else That I find myself, I find myself
That's where I first heard the song as well. I ended up going on a multi year mission to find a copy. Eventually found one at htfr. It's a great track but a lot of the vinyl pressings were a bit flimsy and they wear down quick. It's a cool looking record though. It's a light blue transparent record. Same shade of blue in this video, just see through. That essential mix was really good. It was one of Digweed's best imo. A lot of the tracks were really good and it was mixed exceptionally well most of the time.
Dancer _ Still Dancing Guys... The best rmx of Depeche Mode - Only When I Lose My Self. Covid19 attack us, but this music helps us to be strong. Just help each other.THANKS !!!!
I LOVE house, minimal, deep tech... but I hate progressive. this was labeled progressive.. I would've called it tech back in the day, but labels aside. I JUST now heard it, 2020. 17 years old, and its every bit as amazing as ever could have been. damn.
Lets be real genres were labeled in the late 90s early 00s were very different from what it was past 10 years. This era was true prog now this would be called tech house maybe? Old school guy like me it will always be Progressive House.
