I never liked Personal Jesus at a concert... Because when that songs comes up, you know the concert is almost over... I could listen to DM for 40 hours and nothing would get old or boring... What a power house!... Sound of my life......................... Thank you for wonderful music.......
I mean if you read the interview about how they have had to rebuild a relationship then yeah you are right - the recording process when Fletch was around to mediate sounded very toxic and explains why Alan quit.
Peter Hook and The Light put on a fantastic show. Have seen them many times, as he tours frequently. And you get to experience Joy Division and classic New Order songs general admission up close in a club, instead of a huge venue from far away (unless you want to pay exorbitant seating prices). How often does the rest of New Order tour? I got to see Johnny Marr play his guitar right in my face up front, and he played some selections by Electronic. Would love to be able to experience the rest of New Order in a club.
I have to agree. He never struck me as a great frontman but I have changed my opinion. I recently watched their concert at Hammersmith Odeon in 1982 - then thought what I was doing in 1982 and where I am at in 2023 - and, well, I have to give respect! Also KUDOS for staying alive through the 1990's.
Watching this is like torture - Jeez, I want to be there to experience DM LIVE!!!!! Over 40 years of creative output and still so smooth and undiminished in skill and quality. The best always get better. Still creating, still performing, still delivering for their fans! A Class Act!!1
As a football lover and season ticket holder, I have been to the stadium hundreds of times over the years. But I've only seen 1 concert in my life: Depeche Mode (in Milano, my city, 18.7.2013 Delta Machine Tour). I confirm, they are exceptional and Dave transmits electricity.
@@FCI1908 I am so amazed that their music would be "good" live given that it is essentially electronic but I think the hybrid nature of Martin's guitar, the real drums and Dave's energy just make it all come alive! I am also so enthralled to see the bulk of the RU-vid videos of DM are in fact live performances. Just makes it so much more torturous - I must see this tour!
Thanks for all...DM forever... 1987-2023
Merci pour cette vidéo, que d'émotions. Quel groupe génial, c'est une grande page de ma vie, ils sont comme nous, ils vieillissent mais sont immortels. Que vive le rock !
I was 13 when Just Can't Get Enough was released. More than 40 years later, Depeche is the only thing that has been consistent in my life. Literally everything else has changed. Marriages, births, devastating deaths, addiction, recovery and now some form of peace. My life has been a massive rollercoaster. And they have been with me every step of the way. With my joy, my loss, my tears, my serenity. Twickenham in June will be so special. Perhaps my 15th time to see them live. The Hand of God at work. Nothing less.
"Never let me down again" is probably my favourite ever DM song. Still crying each time they play it live, still today after more than 30 years. Thanks for coming back, you Legends! I love you forever Dave & Martin ❤❤❤ See you here in Rome on 12 July 💞
Когда я был сопливым пацаном, они пели для меня ,уже стал почётным дедом, а они так и поют для меня, потому что взрослеют, стареют вместе с нами. DM forever!
Thanks for this video😊 Dave on stage is Wonderful and together with Martin the atmosphere is unique. They rock!!!✌ "MEMENTO MORI" WOW... "DEPECHE MODE"!!!❤✌
Thank you for the incredible video. Great sound. Great video quality . I will be going to the concert in Toronto then we are off to Dublin and London in June followed by Berlin in July and then when they hit the states going to more. I learned from 2017 in Mexico that I am not even in the top 100 of their fans despite my Tatoo and following of them since 1988 June 17th
So glad to have been a kid when I was buying their records . Now watching these guys perform makes me if not all of us who grew up with them when we were kids.. Our Own Mortality. Live Life TODAY for there is NO Tomorrow.
When D⚘M perform "Never let me down again" you already know the whole stadium or hall is flooded by waving arms of them masses. That's what it is, "Music for the masses".
Kudos to Bigdigs for an amazingly accomplishment of steady camera work. Not jerky, nor moving all over, focusing on DM, great stuff, and sound quality par excellence. Merci!
Thanks so much for the high quality recording of the encore !! Excellent ! I will be dancing away to their incredible music April 14 MSG NYC and again in the fall -
Its good to see that both lads seems fitter and with more energy then 10 or 15 years ago. Also Dave´s voice seems improved alot. I wish i will be that full of life with 60!
I’m going to see them twice and I can’t wait. Saw the Cure twice too in December and will again in June! My two favorite bands 5x in one year is more than I ever could have dreamed. Their music is the soundtrack of my life! Yours too I’m sure!
The Cure yes Robert Smith is still rocking, but I think Dave and Martin are time to say goodbye and retire before they become absolutely ridiculous. For me very sad to see this performance
@@williamdavies1192 actually I flew to Minneapolis to see them in October! Also saw The Cult, Tears for Fears and Garbage, and OMD-all up front. It was quite the year!
@@winifredclarke1977 that’s one reason I go now to see everyone- once we all get too old- it’s time to hang it up. And I’m not going to miss seeing them live one more time for sure. Or two more times 🤣
@@Galloway278 Very cool. I was set to see Tears for Fears at the Santa Barbara Bowl but the shows got canceled as one of their wives passed away. If I could get in a time machine I’d go see Thompson Twins, and the Cars too.
Can't tell you how much I love this. The same band, but in a different time. A band without Fletch, but undeniably playing with his absence on their minds.
Omg I’m crying. 🥹 I love these guys so damn much. Dave seems to be having genuine fun, it’s wonderful to see. Thank you for capturing and posting that for all of us to experience too. You gave me all the feels - big cheesy grins and tears. All the nostalgia and love. I can’t wait to see them on this tour. Also, please, could you share what you recorded this with? It’s got an amazing camera. Blown away by the details. 🤩 🙏🏻thank you.
