Followed Depeche mode since I was in my final year at school , I'm 56 now, and fondly remember 'everything counts' ❤️ Still sound good , stood the test of time and ability to evolve. Fletch sadly missed RIP . Well done guys 👌
followed Depeche Mode since I was 4 years before graduation at school. In my humble taste, everything after Exciter just getting less and less sharp. Spirits was that album where finally I did not make it to listen from start to end. It is all more or less sounds like this song, where you react to first chords because it is Dave's vocals, but than it falls so flat and uncatchy you just can't hold on to it, not get into this vibe if you can name it vibe at all. This won't change my view on DM classics, but the name itself won't sell it to myself just because it is new release.
I've been listening since Speak and Spell. Apart from great music somehow the changes of subjects of the lyrics in the subsequent albums corresponded with my stages of my own life. Their music is the part of my life now in 50s and has always been.
Dave's baritone and Martin's soulful tenor carry the gravity and the soaring texture of their music! So great that they found a way to carry on after Fletch's passing. A gift to all of us!

My dad introduced me to DM when I was a teenager, been enjoying the music ever since! He would’ve turned 60 this year.. would give anything to have him back in this life & enjoy DM show together 🥲

I've been a massive DM fan since the early 80's. I remember saving my allowance to buy their albums on cassette tapes. It's so great to see DM going strong after the death of Andrew Fletcher. RIP. Thank you.

Этот песня, с символически названием, вышла после смерти Флетчера....я слышу в этой песни прощание и весь их крутой творческий путь. Я плачу и счастлив что жил в одно время с DM и в моей жизни было волшебство их текстов ,оранжировки и конечно божественный голос Дейва..для меня это вершина непревзойденная. DM навсегда =)

вот, нашел я этот коммент. именно то, что искал. я тоже слышу в этой песне прощание. в конце Мартин тянет "again" а я слышу "goodbye", которое Дэйв пел чуть ранее. и это звучит пронзительнее, потому что лайв... с ними со времен "Music for the Masses", то есть всю сознательную жизнь. эту композицию закажу себе на похороны. хочу уходить под бессмертную музыку. браво ДМ, вы лучшие.

Мне кажется, это лучший альбом группы. И лучший суперхит этой группы. Надо же, из такой непростой песни сделать настолько удачный танцевальный шлягер! Голоса у дедушек на самом лучшем уровне. Молодцы! Всегда приятно слушать, и очень редко разочаровывают меня.
