Do not underrate Martin s contribution. He is absolutely radiant, enhancing Dave s more composed voice on Memento Mori. Bad English as I m French but DM devotee. Warm greetings
@@bijoubijou93 Well! You don't have to pay. Go and sit in a corner for yourself and be a grumpy person how makes silly remarks on Ytube. This is one of the best performance on many years. It fits so nice whit the voice that he have. And for once so are we having someone that are allowed to play drums whitout having then to sound like a drum machine.
Dave and Martin FINALLY sound like they're singing together again. Not just both at the same time. They're matching tones and timings and everything. What a beautiful thing.
I saw them in concert last week in Montreal. They hugged at the end of the concert... HUGGED!!! I've never seen them do that in all their concerts I've attended over 40 years. EVER! Something happened to their relationship since Fletch's passing and it is beautiful to see ❤
@@andrewfallon3998 I am so in love with the beautiful message that you sent and yet they are wonderful gifts of his divine grace of God bless be to the lord
So beautiful. No matter how often I hear him sing, Dave always takes his voice to new heights. And continuing to reinvent old material. Just love DM. 🥰
This is a masterpiece. More things like this from Depeche Mode. They should release an orchestral (or some kind of acoustic) album of their best top 20 songs or something like that....
Today is my 55th birthday and DM belong to me since 1983. They hit me full power then and they still do ❤ In December 1983 I saw them for my first time live in concert , DM were my first ever Rock/Pop Concert . Unforgettable 🎉
I became a real fan when I was 16, when Black Celebration was released. "Stripped" did it for me. I did like People are People an Master and Servant. My older brother played Just cant get enough... :) that's when it really started. Now I'm 53.
My thoughts exactly....brings me to tears.....will c them in Toronto in November.....at 65.....will be my 5th time seeing them and knowing it's likely the last.....the emotion will be overwhelming
@@bentramer4281 I hear you Ben, I can only suggest going to the venue close to stage time and try for scalper ticket……I’ve done this many times…with success…..But of course you have to be prepared to pay hundreds regardless. For me, at my stage in life, whatever it costs is worth it…..we are all running out of time my friend.
Simply one of the greatest bands of all time. Dave Gahan is not only the embodiment of what a true rockstar is but also of how to age with style.
This song is like a sweet, compassionate, beautiful prayer dedicated to all those who suffer (or have suffered in the past), to let them know that they are not alone, that God and the Light is always with them and that they are loved dearly, no matter what they may or may not have done and that there is no judgement. Truly a masterpiece.
Beautiful version of this song. Feeling it deeply. The last week I've been extremely ill and depressed. Needed a reminder that I'm not walking this path alone. ❤
Wow!this song has never been so beautifully expressed,Daves voice,Marts guitar,the drums,the piano,the orchestra has never sounded so beautiful as today❤im mezmerized...such a beautiful song,when listened to it carefully,absolutely wonderful🔥
Hoy veía y escuchaba junto a mi hijo de 9 meses esta canción. Cuando terminó; jamás olvidaré en lo que resta de mi vida, su reacción y su carita entre alegría, melancolía y asombró. Gracias Depeche Mode.❤
Damn, the string section is on point. Sounds so good. Made me teary eyed.. And Dave and Martin sound better than ever.. This is now my favorite version of this song, EVER!! Would be cool if they did a whole album with the orchestra like this... ❤
One of the bands that sparked my interest in making music was undoubtedly Depeche Mode. This orchestral version of their classic track "Walking in My Shoes" really takes me back to their 90s streak of excellence. The strings exude the original arrangement, which was created by the band's former member Alan Wilder. I feel that this version is an ode to his work and accomplishments within the band as their in-house producer.
Totally showcases the depth of talent of singing and songwriting that is DM. The performance of all 3 songs is DM on a new level altogether. Now a full orchestral album please. Thank you for this DM and BBC Piano Room.
@@СемарсШадов если они ещё будут гастролировать , их концерты в России будут! Никогда не говори никогда! Кровожадное правительство англосаксов - это далеко не все англичане, а DM - яркие представители человечества ,как и многие другие англичане и русские !
If this doesn’t move you to tears, my heart breaks for you. Hauntingly beautiful! The swell in the middle, wow. The sounds of the Steinway. So glad that Dave is still with us.
